I decided to make this a book of sorts. It'll tell the girl's story of how she lived the bite.

I was rushed in an ambulance. The sirens were wailing so loud. My ears were ringing. I still couldn't see anything. What had happened? Where's my mommy? "Mommy?" I croaked. "Shh… honey. Everything's going to be ok. Stay still please." The person beside me said soothingly. I did as he said, and we zoomed on to the hospital.

My stretcher was picked up and it zoomed to some sliding glass doors almost as fast as the ambulance went. It made me dizzy. I still couldn't see. "Mommy?" I called quietly for her, because I couldn't speak any louder. Something was out over my mouth. They made me take deep breaths again.

"Honey? Honey wake up."

"M-mommy?"

"Yes honey. It's me. I'm here."

"Mommy?"

"Yes?"

"What happened? Why can't I see anything? Where are you?

"Nothing you need to worry about sweetie. Lie down and get some rest.

My head was hurting badly, so I didn't refuse to lie down and sleep.

When I woke up, I still couldn't see anything. Everything was black, but I heard rustling around me. "Who's there?"

"I am Sarah Wimple, head reporter at channel 19 news. What exactly happened to you honey?" I heard a woman ask these questions in front of me. I groped around for her microphone, and when I found it I pushed it away. "I don't remember." I said tiredly. I think a doctor knocked and told her and whoever else was in there to leave.

"Mommy?"

No answer.

"Mommy?"

Still no answer.

"Mommy?!"

"Hush now honey, I'm right here." She sounded tired. "Mommy go to bed." I told her.

"I can't honey. I have to stay with you."

"No you don't. Go home mommy. I'm ok."
