Nikki!
Thalia's POV"Come on!" I told the kid we found a couple days ago. He wouldn't walk past my tree. His name is Zane and he is 5, super frustrating and annoying but it's understandable Annabeth and I just showed up, took him, and tried to explain all these crazy things I mean he's 5.
"No" he whined. By now half the camp was gathered in front of us. They were all whispering.
"I don't want to" the kid said and I groaned. Then. Nico was right behind the barrier pinching the bridge of his nose like he was trying to stop a headache. Then he looked at the situation, he smiled, that bitch.
"Zane get over here" he said and the kid looked to where the voice came from and smiled
"Nikki!" he screamed before running over to a squatting Nico who caught him in a hug and picked him up. Cue confused faces
"What the hades!" I yelled
"I have been trying to get him to move for like 2 hours and you just waltz in here and he runs across the barrier" I said and Nico cocked an eye brow at me before setting Zane down
"You stubborn knuckle head" he told the kid who smiled and giggled a bit. I just sighed and looked to Annabeth who was chuckling.
"What!" I snapped at her. She smiled and pointed to Nico who had Zane hanging upside down by his feet laughing really hard. I smiled out of amusement. Nico put the kid down and he just jumped up and down happily. Everyone besides Nico, Zane, Annabeth, and I cleared out.
"Hey, Annabeth can you take Zane to lunch please?" Nico asked and she nodded and walked over to Zane
"Zane listen to Annie m'k" Nico said and Annabeth glared at the nickname
"Kay" he said and walked off with Annabeth. Nico turned to me
"Nikki?" I asked teasingly
"Yeah that's what he has always called me he's practically my little brother" he said as we walked to the pavilion.
"Whose kid is he?" I asked
"Apollo" he answered and we laughed
"Well that's interesting" I said and Nico nodded with a laugh
"Do you think Chiron will let him stay with me?" he asked and I shrugged
"Probably" I answered and then we sat down with Annabeth and Zane at the hades table. Nikki. I laughed mentally at the nickname.
