The Blight is stirring in the south of Ferelden. Several heroes from different walks of life, brought together by fate, stand against the encroaching darkness. They each will face their own trials which will push them to the brink. If they can not face them, then all of Thedas will fall.

He once came charging to her rescue, like a gallant knight, saving her from certain death. And now, after all the heartaches and lies, she prays he can save her again. Just a bit of dribbling, angst-filled sappiness that's been rattling around in my brainpan since playing DA: Inquisition. Feeling the need to write a Cullen-knight-in-shining-armor fic. Some smut later on.

Set during the events of DAI. The world is in turmoil. This is a time that people have to rely on each other, but it isn't always a good idea. Sometimes those who you trust most can't be trusted, and those who you trust the least are who you should trust the most. Rated T for now, might change later on. One or two things that I'm debating putting in. Not a great summary.

What can eight Grey Wardens, most of whom are new recruits, do against a Blight? Save the world if they have to, or go down trying. During such times they must name a new King, or two, and stop a civil war from tearing Ferelden apart. Easy, right? If you're in the habit of creating miracles. Which they must do now, before Ferelden falls to the darkness.

Wynne and Sten spend some quality time together.

[Currently remastering] Hawke's as much a mage as Fenris is an elf: it's complicated. Another thing they have in common is they have broken hearts. Lastly, they both share the opinion that the other is kind of annoying (this a widely held opinion). A story about coming together by being apart, about memory and meaning, and about when to shut up.

Sera might have been eager to race the Inquisitor to her chambers, but when she sees the opulence of the rooms in question, she can't help wondering how compatible she and the Inquisitor really are.

Contents of this fic: 1 Zevran: smooth as all-get-out, miserable, and totally unused to kindness. 1 Rhodri: appallingly awkward, embarrassingly kind, laughs at own jokes. Mix the two gently and carefully until combined, and point and laugh/despair (delete as applicable) at their boundless foolishness for added flavour.

As a scout of the Nightingale, Sparrow went about her duties obediently enough: doing exactly as she was told, never to influence events by herself. She trained herself to be detached from any emotions or thoughts about her work, lest they affect her performance. But the explosion at the Temple of Sacred Ashes, and the events that follow it, make detachment a bit too difficult.
