Jennel's POV
"Are you sure this is everything?" Demi asks as she carries a bag out of Lauren's room, glaring at me because I'm lay in the middle of Lauren's bed. I look up at her as she leaves the room, her hair is tied up and she's wearing her jeans and flannel shirt from last night. I don't know how it's possible but even slightly hungover she still manages to look fucking cute.
"I think so, well apart from the hoodie that Lauren still has on."
"Yea well you'll get that back later, now come on, get in my car!" She yells from halfway down the hallway, I push myself off Lauren's bed and then shuffle out of her room, shutting the door behind me. I follow Demi downstairs and try to hide the fact that I'm laughing because Marissa and Lauren are getting shouted at by their mom.
"You can stop laughing Garcia." Lauren says, pointing her finger at me and then putting her hand down when her mom shouts a t her.
"Marissa are you even listening to a word I'm saying to you?"
"Yes, one minute mom."
"Marissa Callahan I do not have one minute."
"Oh god, shut up." Marissa whines, pushing herself up off the sofa and walking towards me and Demi. "I think I'll either stay at Dallas' tonight or come home later because this bitch is killing me."
"I heard that."
"You were meant to." Marissa replies, turning to face her mom and smiling at her before facing me and Demi again. "So yea see you tonight maybe."
"Bye, can you get Jennel's hoodie off your sister?"
"I'll see what I can do." She says, smiling at both of us as we walk out of the house, shutting the door behind us and then unlocking her car. She pulls the back door open, throwing my bag inside as I climb into the passenger side of the car, buckling the seat belt. Demi gets in the car and then starts the engine, pulling out into the road and then driving towards her apartment.
I glance towards her, smiling at her and then resting my feet on the dashboard before getting a glare off her. I pout at her and slide my feet of the dashboard, changing the radio station and then turning it up as she stops at a red light.
I lean over and press my lips against hers, smiling against her lips before she slides her tongue over my bottom lip. I slowly open my mouth and she slips her tongue inside causing me to let out a moan, she smirks against my lips. The car behind us honks their horn and Demi groans, pulling away from me and then driving forwards, while flipping the driver off and mumbling things under her breath.
"That's your fault."
"How is it my fault?" I ask, pouting at her while drawing circles on her thigh with my fingers.
"Because you distracted me." She replies, placing her hand over mine and then picking up, removing it from her thigh and then placing it on my leg before placing her hand back on the steering wheel.
"You loved it."
"I suppose I did." She replies turning a corner and then pulling up outside the coffee shop that Jillian works at, she shuts the engine off and then gets out of the car, I stay inside, turning the stereo up again and watching as Demi walks inside the building. I rest my feet on the dashboard again as I slide my phone out of my pocket, answering a few random texts of Wes that I really don't care about.
The car door opens and Demi slides in, handing me a coffee and then glaring at me until I take my feet off the dashboard. She smiles at me and then starts the car, driving towards her apartment while I quietly sing along to the radio. Demi occasionally glances towards me, I smile at her and she blushes because she got caught looking at me.
We pull up outside the apartment block and Demi shuts off the engine before getting out of the car, I run my fingers through my hair and then climb out of the car. Opening the back door and then grabbing one of my bags, taking the keys off Demi, smiling at her as I walk into the apartment block.
Once I'm inside I make my way towards her apartment, unlocking the door and then walking inside, dumping my bag on the ground and then diving on with sofa and burying my head in the cushions and then covering my head with my arms. I hear Demi walk into the apartment, drop bags on the ground and then slamming the door shut while mumbling something under her breath.
She lifts my feet up, sitting down and then placing my legs over hers while trailing her fingers up and down my calves, I rolls over and glare at her before sitting up and then moving closer to her. I rest my head on her shoulder and then lean up to press my lips against hers.
"As much as I love kissing you, I need to plan a week of lessons and mark books."
"But that's boring and we both know that you'd rather be cuddled up with me instead of doing work." I reply, pouting at her and then pressing my lips against hers while straddling her. She pulls away from me, shaking her head at me and then pushing me off her lap.
"Watch TV for a few hours and then we'll take your crap into my room and cuddle for hours, I promise."
"Fine." I whine, pulling away from her and then turning the TV on as she stands up and makes her way towards the table, picking her laptop up on the way as well as a bag full of marking. Being a teacher looks fucking boring, why the hell would you want to be a teacher?!
Well I mean Demi's life isn't boring anymore, but I suppose that's what happens when you sleep with a student and end up falling in love with her. I smile to myself as Demi glances towards me, looking at me slightly confused because at the moment there is nothing on the TV for me to be smiling about.
"What are you smiling about?"
"You." I reply, changing the channel and then lying down, pulling the blanket off the back of the sofa and then wrapping it around my body while staring at the TV. Why is everything on the TV complete bullshit, I don't want to buy things, stop trying to sell me things. I growl at the TV causing Demi to giggle as I put SpongeBob on and then sit up, still wrapped in the blanket.
"You're such a child."
"I'm still a child." I reply, flipping Demi off without taking my eyes off the TV.
"Don't say that again."
"Why not?"
"It makes me feel old and it reminds me that you're not even eighteen yet." She mumbles, looking down at her laptop and tapping away at the keys while chewing her pen. I smile to myself because she looks adorable and she's even wearing her glasses which just makes her look even fucking cuter than she already is.
~~~
"Okay this is boring." I whine, throwing a cushion towards Demi, causing her to drop her pen and then glare at me while shaking her head at me.
"Well go and do something then."
"Like what?"
"I don't know how about you move your things into my room." Demi suggests, kinking her eyebrow at me and then picking her pen up again.
"But that's so much effort."
"Just go and do it." She replies, looking down and marking work again, I groan and then throw myself off the sofa, pushing myself up off the ground and then making my way towards the front door where we dumped my bags when we came in. I pick them up and then walk towards Demi's room, making as much noise as possible just to annoy Demi.
I kick her bedroom door open, walking inside and throwing the bags on to her bed before walking back out of her room and then making my way towards her because there is no way I am doing this on my own. When I get to her I lean over the table, pulling her pen out of her hand and keeping it in my hand as she attempts to snatch it off me.
"Come and help me." I mumble, pouting at her while she shakes her head at me. "Please." I whisper in her ear, before pressing my lips against her neck and then gently biting it.
"Fine, get your ass in my room." She says, slamming her laptop shut and looking up at me, glaring slightly and then laughing because I'm still pouting at her.
"Love you."
"Yea you should." She replies, standing up and following me down the hallway towards her room, I walk inside and then jump on her bed, lying in the middle and then propping myself up as Demi begins to open the bags.
I grab one of them, placing it on my stomach, unzipping it and then pulling things out of it, throwing them at Demi and then squealing when she lightly slaps my legs.
"That was mean."
"So was throwing clothes at me." She replies, throwing a t-shirt over my head and then laughing when I pull it off and glare at her.
"Shut up, you love me I can get away with anything."
She just shakes her head at me while I smile at her, throwing the now empty bag on the ground and then lying down again, covering my face with my arm. Demi begins to put my clothes in her closet, quietly singing which causes me to smile to myself because she just gets cuter and cuter.
"Are you actually going to help me?"
"Hmm, nope I don't want to." I reply, sitting up, and then getting faced with a rather pouty Demi who has her arms crossed over her chest. I just innocently smile at her, grabbing her wrists and pulling her closer to her bed. She's stood in between my legs and I've still got hold of her wrist while she glares at me, I pull her down. Pressing my lips against hers, smiling into the kiss because she lets out a small whimper as I wrap my arms around her neck pulling her on top of me.
"You're so fucking lucky that you're cute."
"Hey I'm not cute, I'm a badass." I mumble, kinking my eyebrow at her and then biting on her bottom lip causing her to let out a moan.
"Fine, you're a cute badass." She replies, tugging on my bottom lip, I let out a moan and she smirks against my lips, placing her legs either side of my waist while my fingers tangle in her hair, tugging on it slightly, this time she moans. Allowing me to slide my tongue into her mouth and let out a slight whimper at the contact.
"I'm your cute badass."
I wrap my legs around her waist, pulling her closer to me as she rests her hands on the bed either side of my head, gliding her tongue against mine. I slide my hands up her shirt, resting them against the curve of her back, holding her body close to mine. Her fingers graze against my neck as she grinds her hips against mine, I moan into her mouth and she smirks against my lips.
She moves away from my mouth, leaving kisses down my jawline, and then sucking on my neck, no doubt leaving a mark because she sure as hell loves to leave marks on my neck. That I then have to hide in school, or put up with comments off Wes because of them.
"You two are like horny teenagers." Marissa says from the doorway, running into the room and then diving on top of me and Demi, causing Demi to groan and then roll off me while Marissa lies on top of both of us, smiling at us.
"Well that's because I am a horny teenager." I reply, looking at Marissa while she avoids looking at Demi because she's probably glaring at her.
"I really didn't need to know that."
"Well your sister and best friend seem to know that I'm a horny teenager, so I just thought that you should know." I say, Demi slaps the top of my arm, glaring at me, probably for mentioning Lauren, whatever she knows that we slept together.
"Again I didn't need to know that, also your hoodie is on the sofa."
"Get off me Marissa." Demi says, pushing Marissa off us causing her to roll off the bed and land on the ground, groaning before standing up and then diving back on top of Demi, hitting her across the head with a pillow.
"You two are children; I'm going for a smoke." I mumble, pushing myself off Demi's bed, dodging a pillow and then walking towards her bedroom door.
"Hang out of the window!" Demi yells as I make my way out of her room
"Yes miss."
"Don't call me that!" She screams before squealing, probably because Marissa hit her over the head with a pillow again. "Unfair I was distracted."
"Get over it Demetria."
I just laugh to myself while grabbing the box of cigarettes off the coffee table along with my lighter and then making my way towards the window. I push it open, sitting on the window ledge and hanging outside before pulling a cigarette out of the packet and placing it between my lips. I light it, stuffing the lighter back into my pocket and then take a long drag, breathing it in, pulling the cigarette out from between my lips and then blowing the smoke out.
I just stare outside while slowly smoking the rest of the cigarette, occasionally running my fingers through my hair while listening to Demi and Marissa yelling at each other and then hearing loud bangs before more screaming. I seriously hope that they don't do this all the time because I don't have time for this shit.
I stub out the cigarette on the outside wall, dropping it and then jumping of the window ledge and back into the apartment, sliding the window shut again before wandering into the kitchen. I grab a glass, fill it with water and then down half of it.
Demi wanders into the kitchen, holding her hand up to her face while pouting at me; she walks towards me and rests her head against my shoulder while wrapping her arms around my waist.
"What happened to you?"
"Pillows hurt."
"But they're soft you idiot." I reply, letting out a giggle which then causes Demi to look up at me glaring.
"Yea well they really hurt, especially when Marissa is hitting you with them."
"Aw did she hurt my baby?" I ask, kissing the top of her head while she nods against me.
"Urg you smell like an ashtray, eat a mint and spray something." She says, pushing me away from her and then throwing a packet of mints at me. I catch them and then slide one into my mouth before throwing the packet back towards her while I dramatically chew the mint in front of her.
~~~
Demi, Marissa and I are currently in the kitchen cooking, and when I say 'cooking' I mean Demi is cooking, whereas Marissa is sat on the worktop throwing things at her and I'm sat on the kitchen floor with a joint in my hand a can of redbull in the other.
"Marissa Callahan if you don't stop throwing things at me I will break your fingers."
"Then you'll have a very unhappy Dallas wanting to kill you." Marissa replies before ducking because Demi threw a spoon across the room. I let out a laugh because Marissa very nearly didn't move fast enough and I had visions of Demi having to take her to hospital with a spoon lodged in her head.
"I've told you not to mention your sex life with my sister."
"Whatever, I have to put up with your sex life with this one." Marissa mumbles, pointing at me as I push myself up of the ground, making my way towards Demi and then wrapping my arms around her waist. She stirs the chicken in the pan in front of her while I press my lips against her neck, beginning to softly suck on it. She turns to face me, pressing her lips against mine and then taking the joint out of my hand, taking a drag before placing it back in between my fingers.
I get hit in the back of the head by something, I turn around and glare at Marissa before Demi picks something up and throws it back towards her. I just kiss Demi's neck and then she goes back to concentrating on the pan in front of her.
"I will end up beating your ass Marissa." Demi mumbles as Marissa throws something towards us again, I move out of the way because apparently if you're stood near Demi you get things thrown at you. Demi pouts at me as I jump on to the worktop, sitting on it and dangling my legs over the edge.
"I'm not going near you if she's throwing things at you."
"Marissa Callahan you're ruining my relationship."
"No I'm not, I'm having fun." Marissa replies, smirking at me and then throwing a scrunched up ball of paper at Demi, hitting the back of her head causing Demi to turn around and throw half an onion towards Marissa. "Was that a fucking onion?!"
"Yes it was now stop throwing things at me before I throw you outside."
"You're so mean to me." Marissa mumbles, throwing the half an onion back at Demi and then folding her arms over her chest while pouting at me. I slide off the worktop and walk back towards Demi, picking the damn onion up off the floor and then slamming it down on the worktop before wrapping my arms around Demi's waist and holding her against me.
"Is she always like this?"
"Sometimes, she's just fucking annoying." Demi replies, turning to glare at Marissa and then pressing her lips against mine. "But she's my best friend so I have to put up with her."
"Yes you do Demetria, and let's face it you love me."
"Not as much as she loves me." I reply, turning to smirk at Marissa, only to get an apple thrown at me. "Demi she threw an apple at me." I whine, hiding my head in the crook of her neck.
"Marissa stop fucking throwing things."
"Yes mom."
"I'm not as bad as your mom when she's shouting at you, so you either shut the fuck up or I'll ring her and tell her that you used to sneak out to get wasted and high when you were sixteen."
"You wouldn't dare."
"Oh really, do you really want to chance it?" Demi asks, kinking her eyebrow at Marissa and then smirking at me.
"Hate you."
"Love you too, asshole."
I unwrap my arms from around Demi's waist and then lean against the worktop next to her, watching Marissa as she glares at Demi and then slides her phone out before tapping against the screen, no doubt texting Dallas and complaining about Demi.
I pick food out of the pan and begin eating it, Demi slaps my hand away when I attempt to get more, I just pout at her, taking food anyway and then eating it while smirking at her. She slaps my hand again and Marissa just laughs at me while Demi glares at me. I walk away from her and sit on the worktop next to Marissa.
"She's mean."
"I know, and I've lived with her for years, feel sorry for me." She replies laughing as Demi mutters something under her breath.
"I do feel sorry for you, plus you have two Lovato's in your life, that must be hard."
"Well at least one of them gives me some lady loving."
"If you say that again I will burn you with a fucking Bunsen burner!" Demi yells causing both Marissa and I to burst into fits of giggles.
"Does she always threaten you with chemistry equipment?"
"Yea, but it's normally something about burning off my hair with chemicals." Marissa says, running her fingers through her hair as someone knocks on the door. "I'm not getting that Demi."
"Neither am I." I say, innocently smiling at Demi as she glares at me, turning the burner off and then slapping back mine and Marissa's legs as she walks past us. "You're so not getting any tonight!" I yell as she gets to the door, flipping both of us off.
"Demetria, are you kidding me, you forgot didn't you."
"Oh shit." I mumble, sliding off the work top and sitting on the floor, hiding because I'm pretty sure I just heard Miss Gomez.
"F-forgot what?"
"That we're meant to be going out tonight, me you and Hannah, remember now."
"Oh fuck, yea just let me get changed."
"So are you going to let me in or what?" She asks, letting out a giggle as Demi steps away from the door, telling her in and then shutting the door behind her. "Hey Marissa."
"Hey Selena." Marissa replies, looking towards Demi and Selena and then glancing down at me while trying not to laugh because I'm lay in the middle of the kitchen. "Demi get in here."
"Fuck, fuck, fuck, I forgot."
"Yea just shut up a minute, go and get ready so Jennel can get up off the fucking floor and stop hiding."
"Shit, sorry baby." Demi says, looking down at me and giggling while I flip her off, sliding a joint out of my pocket and then lighting it, causing Marissa to look down at me and then shake her head at me while I blow a cloud of smoke up at her. Demi runs off towards her room and I stay lay on the floor, smoking the joint.
"Marissa are you smoking pot?"
"Um." Marissa mumbles as I hold the joint up to her, she reaches down to take it out of my hand as Miss Gomez walks into the kitchen.
"Jennel."
"Fuck." I mumble under my breath. "H-hey Miss Gomez."
"What are you doing here?"
"Um…" I reply, looking up at Marissa who is just staring at me waiting for me to say something but nothing is coming out of my mouth. Instead I'm just lay in the middle of the kitchen, staring up at both of them.
