Jennel's POV:
I just sit there, staring at the door, Maddie and Bea and glancing between each other. Lauren is saying something to me but I'm not listening to her so she pushes me off the bed and then stands up behind me, turning me to face her and I just stare at her before she slaps me across the face.
"What the fuck was that for?!" I yell at her, shoving her away from me and glaring at her as she rolls her eyes at me.
"Go after her you fucking idiot, don't just sit in here staring at the door. I am not having you being miserable and living with me again, fix this!" She says, spinning me around before pushing me towards the bedroom door, she pulls it open and then pushes me into the hallway. I shakily run my fingers through my hair as I walk down the hallway, making my way towards the living room, where Demi is sat with her parents, and she's crying. This is just fucking great.
"D-Dem." I mumble as I walk into the room, slowly shuffling towards the sofa as her mom turns to face me, glaring at me and then shaking her head at me.
"I think you should just leave." Her mom says, still glaring at me, I stare at the ground and wait for Demi to answer me.
"Mom please shut the fuck up she lives here, where is she going to go? What do you want Jennel?"
"C-can we talk, alone?"
"Why? So you can tell me that you'd rather smoke pot as well as fuck Lauren and CeCe than be with me?!" She yells, standing up and then turning to face me, tears rolling down her cheeks as she balls her fists.
I just stand there, staring at her in shock at the fact she thinks that I'd choose all of that over her, maybe if she'd told me to choose the week we met then maybe but not now. Not after I've put so much emotion and effort into our relationship, not when I've only just got over my trust issues and realised that Demi is nothing like Spencer and she never will be.
"No, but it's obvious what you think I should choose, which just shows what you think about me, nice Demi, really fucking nice." I say, staring at her before walking towards the door, grabbing a pair of converse and then sliding them on.
"Jennel that's not what I meant." Demi says, as I pull the door open before turning to face her.
"Fuck you." I say, staring at her and walking out of the apartment, Demi yells something but I ignore her. I just slam the door behind me and then walk down the hallway, making my way out of the apartment block.
"Jennel stop!" She screams, running after me, I turn around and stare at her, she's got no shoes on, her cheeks are covered in tears and she has her hands stuffed in her pockets.
"Why should I Demi? You practically made the decision for me, when it should be fucking obvious that I'd choose you." I say, letting tears roll down my face now that Demi's mom isn't staring at me and I don't care what anyone thinks.
"I'm sorr-"
"Don't you dare say you're sorry Demi, just don't." I say cutting her off while running my fingers through my hair.
"B-but I am." She mumbles, looking down while leaning against the wall behind her with her hands still in her pocket.
"You should just go back inside with your family because I've just caused shit since they've been here. Tell your mom that she doesn't have to worry anymore because I'm out of her precious daughter's life now, considering she made the decision for me."
"Don't do this Jennel, don't leave me again."
"Demi, I don't want to leave you." I reply, wiping the tears off my face while I continue to stare at her. "But let's face it your parents hate me, your mom is practically killing me with her eyes the only one in your family that likes me is Maddie."
"Who you let smoke pot."
"She fucking smokes it anyway Demi!" I scream at her. "This is why I'm fucking leaving because everything will always be my fault, but for you information I choose you, I will always choose you, always." I say, turning around before continuing to walk towards the entrance to the building.
I place my hand on the handle and pull the door open but Demi grabs my wrist and pulls me back towards her, wrapping her arms around me to stop me from walking away from her again. I attempt to push her away from me but she just shakes her head at me.
"Get the fuck off me Demi; you're making this far more difficult than it has to be." I say trying to move away from her again, but she groans and she tightens her grip around my body.
"I am not letting you leave me again, I'm sorry for assuming that you wouldn't choose me, I'm sorry for making you feel like everything is your fault, because it's not." She mumbles to me as I burying my head in the crook of her neck, holding on to her as I cry against her.
"I choose you Demi; I'll stop everything if it means that I don't lose you again. I'll stop drinking; I'll stop smoking and selling pot. I'll even stop hanging around with CeCe if that's what it takes for you to realise that you're the only thing that I will ever need."
She places her hands on my shoulders and slowly pushes me away from her, resting her forehead against mine, letting our noses gently brush together. I tightly close my eyes and then slowly open them again, staring into Demi's eyes.
"I'm sorry."
"I love you." I whisper, lightly pressing my lips against hers, before pulling away and then placing my hand in hers. "If we go back in there is your mom going to stab me repeatedly for making you cry and letting Maddie get high?" I ask, looking at Demi with panic in my eyes because although Demi's mom is small she's one scary lady and she could probably kill me if she wanted to, and she probably wants to.
"I love you too, and I won't let her kill you baby, she'll have to get through me to get to you."
"You promise?"
"If you promise to stop getting high as much, then I will stop my mom from killing you." She replies as we get to the apartment, she turns to face me and gently presses her lips against mine before pulling away and then brushing the tears off my cheeks. She slowly pushes the door open and then walks inside, placing her hand in mine and pulling me with her; I gently squeeze her hand as her mom stands up, glaring at me. Maddie is sat on the sofa dopily smiling at me while Bea is sat next to her looking pissed off and Lauren looks bored sat on the floor in front of them.
"I'm sorry Demi."
"Maddie shut up." Bea says, glaring at her and then crossing her arms over her chest as Maddie just slouches into the sofa and looking down at the floor. Bea continues to glare at her and I just smile because they're practically like a younger version of Demi and I.
"So I see you two are still together even though she made you cry and got my other baby to do drugs." Demi's mom says, looking between us and then glaring at Maddie as she attempts to stand up, Bea pulls her down and then passes her a bag of chips, okay where the hell did she get them from?
"She makes me cry, I make her cry it's just the way our relationship is. Plus Maddie isn't all innocent in this mom." Demi says, looking down at Maddie who just glances up at Demi before quickly looking away from her when Demi kinks her eyebrow at her. "Are you going to tell her or am I?"
"Tell me what?"
"That I already smoke pot and that it's not Jennel's fault so don't fucking blame her mom. Why can't you just be fucking happy that Demi has found someone she loves instead of trying to break them up and scare them off like you've done with the rest!?" Maddie yells, standing up and storming out of the apartment, slamming to door shut behind her.
"I told you I liked her." I whisper to Demi, which causes her to let out a soft giggle as her mom glares at us before chasing after Maddie, leaving Bea on the sofa slowly shaking her head.
"This family is far too dramatic." Her dad says, standing up and then walking outside to find his wife and daughter.
~~~
It's been a day since the whole drama with Demi's family and they're at Dallas' because we all know that if they came here her mom would either kill me or attempt to kill me. Demi is sat on the sofa surrounded by piles of work that she has to mark, because being the idiot that she is actually forgot that she had work to do this weekend and has left it all until Sunday night.
I'm sat on the other end of the sofa, wrapped in a blanket while watching whatever stupid program Marissa is making me watch. Although I'm not paying much attention to the TV because watching Demi doing work is far much better, because she has her hair tied up, no make-up on and she's wearing her glasses. She's also wearing one of my t-shirts and a pair of sweats, she's sat cross legged and she keeps chewing the end of her pen as she reads over peoples work, she just looks adorable when she's concentrating. Watching Demi when she's working makes me realise how much I actually love her.
"Can you turn it down I can't concentrate." Demi whines, looking up at me with the end of her pen in her mouth before pulling it out and then pouting at me. I lightly shake my head at her because she knows that she can get me to do anything when she pouts at me.
"Turn it down Marissa." I mutter, sending Demi a small smile while she gives me grins and me triumphantly then winks at me.
"You're so whipped."
"Yea I know, and I really don't care." I reply, turning to glare at Marissa before facing Demi again, I smile to myself because she's just so cute, like I've never seen anything this cute before. This is how I like Demi being, relaxed, when she's just sat on the sofa doing work and wearing comfy clothes. Not worrying about what I'm doing because I'm high or because I'm at a party and she doesn't know when I'll be home.
I let out a sigh causing Demi to look at me, I just lean over her and press my lips against hers before pulling back and pressing my forehead against hers, smiling at her when she attempts to press her lips against mine again, I pull back and she pouts at me.
"I love you." I say, pushing the blanket off my legs, standing up and then getting weird looks off Demi as I walk out of the living room and make my way down the hallway and towards our bedroom. Kicking the door open and then walking inside, not bothering to shut the door behind me before I walk around the bed and grab the box from under the bed. Placing it on top of the bed while I kneel down at the side of the bed, I pull the lid off and stare at the numerous bags of weed that are lined up inside the box.
I hear a slight creak coming from the hallway before someone clearing their throat, I glance up and Demi is stood in the door way, she just shakes her head at me before turning around and then walking away from me. I let out a groan before sitting on the floor, pulling the box with me and then placing it in front of me as I grab my phone off the night stand, I write out a message to Lauren, Wes and CeCe.
[7:39pm] Jennel: If you come to round now you'll get free weed, I don't want it anymore it's tearing me and Demi apart. So yea first one to get here gets the most ;)
I lock my phone and then place it on the floor in front of me while sorting the bags of weed into three piles, one with more in than the other two. I let out a sigh as I roll a joint between my index finger and my middle finger; placing it back in the box, one joint won't make Demi want to kill me. My phone vibrates against the floor; I place the lid back on the box, sliding it back underneath the bed before picking my phone up and reading the message.
[7:44pm] Lauren: I'm on my way! Do not let anyone else have more than me or I will kill you Jennel Garcia and don't think that I won't!
I quietly laugh before locking my phone and stuffing it into my pocket; pushing myself up and then grabbing the three piles of weed off the bed before walking out of the bedroom and down the hallway, making my way towards the kitchen. Demi doesn't see what I have in my hands, but Marissa does, she just shakes her head at me while giving me disapproving looks, I shrug at her as I get into the kitchen.
I place the three piles on the worktop in front of me as the front door bursts open and Lauren falls in with Selena walking in after her, glaring at her while attempting to catch her breath. Both Demi and Marissa look at the pair in confusion as Lauren walks further into the apartment and makes her way towards me and Selena leans against the door frame, running her fingers through her hair.
"What the hell are you doing here?" Demi asks, placing her pen in the book that she was in the middle of writing in and then closing it.
"Well your lovely girlfriend over there." Selena says, pointing towards me causing Demi to turn to face me. "Text Lauren and for some reason we ended up sprinting here." Selena pants, while walking towards Demi and then collapsing on the sofa while groaning because she sat on a pile of books. "Do you know how far away my house is from here Demetria?"
"Well it's not my fault is it? Jennel what the hell is going on?" Demi asks as I slide four bags of weed towards Lauren and she just grins at me. Picking them up and sliding two into each pocket of her jacket.
"Are you sure that you don't want money for these?"
"I'm sure, I told Demi I wasn't going to sell it anymore, and this isn't selling it." I reply, smiling at her before turning to Demi and getting glared at.
"Jennel answer me, what the fuck is going on?" She asks in her 'you're so in trouble' teacher voice while glaring at me.
"You'll see soon, but Wes and CeCe are coming over as well."
"If you're having a party you can forget about it, and if you're going out you're not coming back here tonight." She replies, glaring at me which causes me to roll my eyes at her because I am really not dressed for a party right now.
"Demi I'm wearing fucking batman pyjama pants and a t-shirt that is three sizes too big for me as well as it being covered in hair dye, do you really think I'm going to a party?" I ask, kinking my eyebrow at her and she just looks away from me as Marissa lets out a snigger.
"Whatever."
"Am I the first one?! Oh fuck off, fuck you Lauren!" Wes yells walking into the apartment and then making his way towards me, he leans against the worktop and glares at Lauren as she just innocently smiles at him.
"It's not my fault that you're slow Wesley." She says, smirking at him as I slide him three bags and he lets out a groan before stuffing them into his pockets as CeCe walks into the apartment and groans when she see that Wes and Lauren are already here. She makes her way into the kitchen while Demi and Marissa look towards me with confused expressions.
"Here." I say, throwing CeCe three bags, she catches them and smiles at me before opening her bag and sliding them in.
"You are the best." She says, smiling at me as Wes wraps his arm around her and they both smirk at me.
"Yea you can all leave now." I say, smiling at all three off them who glare at me.
"Fine, come on assholes." CeCe says, walking out of the kitchen and pulling Wes and Lauren with her. Selena slowly stands up and walks towards Lauren before wrapping her arm around her and walking out of the apartment with them. CeCe shuts the door and I walk out of the kitchen, ignoring the looks I'm getting on Marissa and Demi as I sit on the sofa.
"Are you going to explain why four different people just dramatically burst into my apartment?"
"I gave them free weed." I answer, grabbing the remote out of Marissa's hand and then changing the channel because there is only so many episodes of real housewives a girl can take.
"I thought you were going to stop drug dealing. Is that why I walked into my room and you had hold of that stupid fucking box you keep it all in?"
"Did you see any of them paying for it?" I ask and Demi shakes her head. "That's because I gave it to them, for free because I'm not selling it or smoking it anymore so I didn't see the point in keeping it when I know that I'll just end up giving in and smoking it anyway." I say, not even looking at Demi because I just can't be bothered because I know she's going to give me some stupid apology and then she'll give me that look and all I'll want to do is kiss her.
"I-I didn't think-"
"That I'd actually stop?" I ask cutting her off, she just nods at me before looking away from me. "Well I did." I reply, standing up and passing the TV remote back to Marissa before walking down the hallway, hearing Demi let out a groan as I kick the bedroom door open.
I stagger inside before kicking the door shut, running my fingers through my hair as I walk towards the bed, throwing myself on it and lying face down in the middle of the bed with my head buried in the pillows. I let out a groan as the door creeks open because I know that it's Demi because it's too quiet to be Marissa, she would've jumped on me, thrown something at me or yelled at me.
"Jennel."
"What?" I mumble into the pillows as the bed dips letting me know that Demi is now sat on the bed.
"I'm sorry." She says, placing her hand on my leg and grazing her thumb up and down. "I didn't think that you'd actually stop selling or smoking weed because I didn't think that I was worth it. I thought that you'd just say you stopped but you'd still carry on doing it."
I roll over and sit up, staring at her before moving towards her and then wrapping my arms around her, pulling her body against mine.
"You are worth it Demi, trust me you're so fucking worth it. Plus it's only weed, I can live without weed, I can't live without you." I whisper, leaning forwards and then pressing my lips against her as her arms wrap around my neck and her tongue slides over my bottom lip before parting my lips and grazing her tongue against mine causing me to moan. I slowly push her away from me and she pouts at me.
"Don't look at me like that; I was being all cute and romantic and you just kissed me like that, ruin the moment Demetria." I say, sticking my tongue out at her and then quickly pressing my lips against hers.
"I just haven't kissed you like that in a while."
"Pretty sure we made out this morning." I reply, winking at her before lying down and pulling her with me.
"That's not the point, I miss kissing you."
"God you sound like a love sick teenager." I say, lightly punching the top of her arm, she looks down at me and attempts to glare at me but just ends up laughing because I'm pouting at her.
"You make me into a love sick teenager."
"Oh shut up." I say, wrapping my arms around her neck, pulling her down and roughly pressing my lips against hers. I wrap my arms around her neck, holding her close to me as she smiles against my lips. She pulls away from me but I follow her lips, pressing them against hers again causing her to laugh.
"I love kissing you but I really need to do work."
"I hate the fact that you're a teacher."
"No you don't, you love the fact that I'm a teacher." She says, sitting up and pulling me with her before kissing me again and then resting her forehead against mine. "It gets you all excited because we could be caught, plus you love staring at me in class."
"That is very, very true Miss Lovato." I reply in between kisses as she stands up and then stands at the edge of the bed with her back to me. "What the hell are you doing, dick?"
"Shut up and get on my back."
I let out a sigh before standing up in the middle of the bed and then placing my hands on her shoulders before wrapping my arms around her waist. She places her hands under my legs and keeps me up as she kicks the door open and then walks out of the room before making her way down the hallway.
When we get into the living room I notice that Marissa isn't here anymore but there's a note on top of the TV remote that's in the middle of the coffee table. Demi stands in front of the sofa and drops me on it before picking the note up and then sitting next to me, she reads over it and then shows it to me.
Gone to Dallas', I know what you two get like when you have a fight and I'm not drunk enough to hear you having extremely loud make up sex…
See you later losers!
"What a lovely best friend you have there."
"Tell me about it, we're not that loud." She says, grabbing the note off me and then placing it back in the middle of the coffee table. When she faces me again I kink my eyebrow at her and she blushes before grabbing the book she was marking and her pen.
"Stop staring at me."
"Why? You know I think you're cute when you're working."
"I know but stop staring at me it's highly distracting." She says, not even looking up at me as she reads the words in the book while bringing the end of her pen to her mouth. I let out a sigh, leaning forwards and grabbing the remote off the coffee table, turning the TV on and then turning to face it.
"Better?"
"Much better." She says, looking up at me and smiling before concentrating on the book in front of her. I begin flicking through the different channels before moving closer to Demi and leaning against hers, resting my head on her shoulder and watching her mark the work in the books. She leans down and presses her lips against the top of my head, closing the book and then grabbing another one.
"I think you should let me mark some."
"I don't think so." She replies, opening the book before turning to face me as I pout at her. "Don't look at me like that, people would notice and I don't trust you."
"Why don't you trust me?"
"Because you'd write stupid things in the books and then I'd have to re-do them which just makes more work for me."
"I suppose you're right." I mumble, looking towards the TV and groaning because the commercials are on. "I'm so bored." I whine, looking up at Demi while trailing my fingers up and down her arm.
"Well I'm sure you have homework for me that needs to be done for Tomorrow."
"Are you serious right now? I'm your girlfriend and you're still going to make me do homework." I say, looking at her in shock because I mean why should I have to do homework, she loves me therefore I should get out of having to do it.
"Yes I'm going to make you do it, you may be my girlfriend but you're also one of my students."
"I'm starting to hate you right now."
"No you're not; you just hate the fact that I'm your teacher."
"It has its perks, but no I'm starting to hate you because you're making me do this fucking shitty homework."
"Excuse me do you know how long it took me to plan that?" Demi asks, placing her hand on her chest and staring at me with an insulted expression before kinking her eyebrow at me.
"Like an hour?"
"Shut up, it was more like an hour and a half." She replies, letting out a small laugh before shutting the book, placing on the pile of finished books and then sighing when she turns back to the pile of unmarked books.
"How about you stop working so I can get cuddles and we can order pizza." I say, pressing my lips against her neck and then looking at her while pouting. "Please."
"Maybe we can order pizza and eat it while I finish marking these fucking books?"
"I suppose that alright, but you're calling the pizza place." She says, passing me her phone and then looking down at the book again before letting out a groan. "Mother fucker don't use red pens in books, assholes."
I let out a laugh, placing Demi's phone in between us before standing up and then walking towards the kitchen to grab the menu, opening it as I walk back towards the sofa, jumping on it and then resting my head on Demi's shoulder again. I just stare at the menu, not even reading it because I just want a pizza with bacon on it, a whole lot of bacon on it, basically I just want bacon.
"Demi pick a pizza because I don't care." I mumble, shoving them menu in her face and then letting it fall on the book in her lap, causing her to glare at me and then grab the menu off the book she was marking.
"I don't know, bacon and chicken pizza." She says, smiling at me and then pressing her lips against mine before passing me her phone again and then kinking her eyebrow at me. "Ring the damn place I'm hungry."
"Okay stop whining, you sound like a baby."
"I do not whine I simply express my feelings."
"No, you whine like a little bitch." I reply, causing her to hit me in the face with a cushion and then throw the books on the floor before straddling me and then looking down at me, smirking at me. "Still a whiney little bitch." I say, looking up at her and then sticking my tongue out at her, she grabs my wrists and pins then to the sofa above my head.
"No I'm not."
"Kind of are though baby." I reply, winking at her as she glares at me then leans down to whisper into my ear.
"Jennel Garcia that is no way to talk to your teacher is it?"
"I don't know Miss Lovato." I reply, winking at her before leaning up in an attempt to press my lips against hers, but she pulls away from me, shaking her head while smirking at me. "How should I talk to teachers?"
"Okay this is weird; we're not doing this teacher, student sex things." She says, sliding off my and then sitting next to me, I laugh before sitting up and moving close to her, resting my head on her shoulder.
"Each time we have sex its teacher student."
"Yea but that was very nearly weird teacher, student role play." Demi says, grabbing her phone and calling the pizza place. I smile because I knew I'd get her to call instead of making me do it, she looks over at me and then rolls her eyes when she realises what she's doing. She orders the pizza and then ends the call before kinking her eyebrow at me.
"Don't look at me like that, you love me."
"I know I do, and you're lucky that I do." She mumbles, leaning towards me and pressing her lips against mine, smiling against my lips before pulling away.
