AN: Okay so this is a spoiler scene (extended obviously) because I'm not sure when I'll get the next chapter out which as we all know is the second to the last. Love you happy reading! :))
She didn't make it back to her room till well after nine her shoes in hand as she slide her key card over the lock happy when the light turned green. She sighed shutting the door behind her feeling her stomach growl thinking of the croissant sandwich she had three hours ago.
Scouting out the mini bar she made do with the cheapest items in there and stripped of her work clothing dressing comfortably as she picked up her phone. After a long talk with her mother Caroline almost thought twice about calling Klaus at such a late hour.
On impulse she pressed the call button Caroline was rewarded with his soft chuckle after two rings, "Hello Caroline," he said in greeting making her smile. "I was starting to worry for a moment there." She sighed as she felt herself relax at the sound of his voice lounging on top of her made bed.
She began wishing she had a better view of the stars like she did at his apartment. "I got your text," she said with a smile in her voice. She shut her eyes picturing him smiling too, "What do you miss the most," she sighed softly into her receiver.
Klaus paused for a moment thinking about his response before answering her and messing it up, "Well right now I'm lying in bed and my right side is empty," he began his free hand running over the side she slept on when she stayed over, "So you."
Caroline let out a small sigh, "I miss the tickle of your hair on my arm as I pull you in to fall asleep in my arms," he explained with a sly smile licking his lips in thought, "Your soft smell that lingers on my sheets after you're gone. I miss your light breath across my chest."
Caroline felt her stomach drop and her heart rise up into her throat at the same time leaving her without speech as he continued without interruption. "The way your nails dig into my shoulders during exceptional hours of kissing and touching and teasing. The way you bite your lip as I undress in front of you."
"Klaus," she sighed out loud without meaning too carried away in thoughts of him biting her lip to keep from saying anything else. She heard him shift from wherever he was and held her breath as he spoke again feeling dizzy rather quickly.
"I miss your laugh, the real one and that little grin when you want to be mad at me can't quite make yourself be." Klaus told her as he grabbed her pillow and held it to his chest unsure of how he slept before he met her. He shut his eyes imagining her here with him.
"Klaus," she panted a little louder, "Why are you so good at words?" she laughed nervously feeling hot and incredibly tense with the way he spoke. "How can things be so different in such a short span of time?" she said mostly to herself.
"It was just a bet, a dance and now here we are and I can't even get to bed without you even though I'm exhausted." Caroline tried to explain, "All I have is this shirt of yours I'm wearing and your voice to make me feel… I don't know."
Klaus' interest was piqued at her words making him sit up his head resting on his headboard, "You're wearing my shirt?" he blurted out wincing at the tone of his voice. He sounded like a school boy desperate for her and they both knew he was.
"Yeah I am," she admitted forgetting that she wasn't supposed to tell him that and feeling kind of stupid she had taken his favorite red one when she found it in her hamper. "It smells like you." She admitted shyly pressing a hand to her hot face.
"Are you wearing anything else," he asked unexpectedly making her breath catch, beads of sweat appearing almost instantly all over as well as goose bumps. She crossed her legs biting her nail as she heard him breathing on the other end awaiting her reply.
"I…no," she said squeezing her eyes shut as if he was right in front of her, "I'm not." she thought she heard him choke but it was too quick to tell before he was clearing his throat. Caroline rubbed at her thighs trying to regain control of her senses.
"I wish I had gone with you," he responded reacting to her movement on the other end feeling his heart racing, "Then you would be tired for a different reason and my shirt would be on the floor." She teased his voice growing serous towards the end of his sentence.
Caroline blushed thinking about what he suggested, "You're really confident about that," she replied plainly trying to hide the tingles she felt. Klaus chuckled on the other end as pushed her hair out of her face.
"Yes I am," he quipped smartly making her smile brightly in the dark of her room. "I wish you were here too," she said playing with the end of her shirt rubbing the fabric over her thighs as she spoke. She heard a shift in his breathing on the other end, heavier almost making a slight shiver run over her.
"How much longer until you get back," he asked in a sultry voice squirming as he did in his sitting place his fingers twitching with longing to run into her silky tresses. He sighed feeling a considerable hindrance begin to grow the longer he had her on the line.
She chuckled feeling his undertones of frustration feeling as if they were on the same boat, "Tomorrow night at eight I should be walking into my apartment," Caroline reminded him softly missing him wrapping his arms around her waist as they prepared for bed only to hours later be fighting over her comforter.
"Alone," she added making him smirk at the way she said it. "Sweetheart you know I'll try," he began to say when she said, "No, no, no, your work is very important." He chuckled thinking about how she had no idea what she was going to walk into tomorrow. Her apartment yes but alone definitely not.
He scratched his temple a smirk coming over his features, "Take off the shirt Caroline," he hummed into the phone receiver. He heard her react and he bit his lip, "Do it like I'm watching." He heard her gasp silence otherwise as he pictured her thought process.
The little crinkle of a line on her forehead, the part of her lips, the heaving of her chest, his lips trailing over the blood flowing just beneath her skin. He beamed in triumph when he heard her do as he asked growing harder for her. "How do you feel," he asked softly.
"Naked," she giggled, "Exposed," she added more softly, "Aroused, hot, cold, empty," she whispered her hand running to the middle of her thighs softly before running back up her stomach, "Like I need you inside of me."
Klaus threw his head back feeling a familiar ache rising just below his belt, "Caroline," he grunted, hearing her laugh on the other end, "You deserve that," she said referring to his own misery. "That and much more," she finished saying as he rubbed himself over his jeans.
"Like what," he inquired his fingers adding pressure above his zipper creating a friction only to be imitated by Caroline's warm body above his. "Like my hands on your hips," she paused, "My lips following that happy trail of yours straight down to the tip where you'd feel my mouth on your-"
"Hmm that's not fair," he cried, "I guess now would be a good time to tell you that I followed you to Chicago and booked the room next to yours." Klaus admitted as he stopped teasing himself and managed to get up from the bed he was on.
He stumbled to his door exiting as fast as he could knocking as he leaned his body on the door instantly feeling better as the firmness of the door. He heard the door click open and his love giggle on the other end in the dark room.
Her hand reached out pulling him in making him almost fall in as his body rushed after hers his hand shutting the door before he chased after her. Caroline bounced back onto the bed the sight driving him insane as her curves bounced thrilling him.
He removed his coat dropping it to the floor as he watched her sit on her calves giving him an ample view of her breasts. A nervous hand went into her hair as she just looked at him, "I hate that just the thought of you running your fingers running down my throat through my thighs excites me."
Klaus grinned as widely as she did undoing a button from his shirt, "The very idea of it makes me want to suck on your neck and roll my hips so hard over yours you come." He might have choked at her words if his jaw hadn't gone slack.
Caroline grinned with triumph getting him back for that phone call winding her up only to tell her he was here. Klaus seemed to pull himself back together after a moment his eyes turning dark with want, "Play for me Caroline," he gestured with his hands.
He fought with every part of him to not flash to her right now wanting to finish what he had started, "Make yourself wet with the thought of me." He entreated in a low voice feeling the power she had over him the need to crawl over her and take her.
The urgency in his voice made her quiver, "Nik," she pleaded feeling her skin burning up only partly due to his stare. As tempting as his idea was she could think of other ideas that would bring pleasure to them both that had a heightened appeal.
Klaus observed her as if he could read her thoughts, "I think by now you know that seduction isn't about making you do something you don't want to do. Not that anyone ever could." He added with a smirk, "It's about enticing you into doing what you already want to do but are afraid to try."
"If you think for a moment that I won't enjoy the sight of you pleasuring yourself, I insist Caroline, I want to watch. I want to see what the thought of me does to you." He admitted his hand coming over the front of his jeans where she could clearly see what she was doing to him.
Her eyes traveled from the beige carpet to his feet and the well-fitting jeans draped around his muscled legs and waist she longed to be wrapped around. "Not fair," she almost pouted, "Just touch me please," she asked wishing she didn't sound so pleading.
"Don't make me come over there," he half-heartedly threatened knowing he was seconds away from giving in before he got his way. She moved her hands up from her knees slowly deliberately until she moved up higher to her waist.
"That's just what I want," she said standing on her knees giving him an generous view of her naked flesh and the shine in between her legs indicating how ready she was for him. He bit his lip to keep from moaning as she ran her hands up softly over her chest then back down moaning.
He watched as her eyes rolled back, "In a moment," he groaned moving closer stopping at the edge of bed, his hand went out his fingers touching her erect nipple making her moan louder. He shivered as she squirmed Klaus fell to his knees in front of her his mouth over her stomach biting her softly.
Her head flew back, "It hurts so much," she cried reaching for his hand over the side of her chest pushing it lower making him massage her swollen lips easing her discomfort. "That's better," she sighed as he added pressure right down her center as his own lips traced her soft abdomen.
He heard her cry out his name, "Bloody Hell Caroline," he cried as her hands went into his hair pushing his head up so that she could kiss him hard on the mouth. He felt her grow wetter as she kissed him soaking his fingers further coating him in her sweetness.
He felt dizzy with desire, "I love that you're here," she told him after the bruising kiss dragging him on to her bed as Klaus kicked off his shoes joining her as they fought to remove his clothing. He felt hot under his collar beads of sweat already forming around his face as she kissed him again.
"I'm here," he repeated kissing down her neck as she finished off his shirt and belt, "But I have yet to see you come," he whispered his hands crawling over her bottom and back pushing her hips to his. "Just you wait," he promised as he placed himself at her center sliding unhurriedly inside of her as her nails dug into his back.
"Ms. Forbes are you listening," the question pulling a grinning Caroline from her thoughts of the night before making her blush as she nodded. "Good, let's move on then," he said sternly as Caroline tried to straighten her face.
She couldn't wait until she was free to leave although she had warned him not to bother her Klaus had managed to find a way to distract her. He promised not to call or text of show up but to wait for her in her hotel room until she got back.
Yet she couldn't keep her mind off of him, she wanted to smile again thinking about him being here with her, thinking about how he set this whole thing up to spend more time with her. He said it was to celebrate her finally getting what she had worked so hard for.
He truly was incredible, he made her giddy with just a thought she spotted the same man eyeing her as she fought to keep from beaming again. She looked down doodling on her notepad hoping she looked as if she was taking notes until the presentation ended.
Caroline waited for everyone to file out of the small conference room that had been reserved before she pulled out her phone. She looked up to make sure no one was looking before she dialed Klaus' number he answered after the second ring.
Klaus spoke first, "Do you always wait until you are alone to call me because you think you'll do something embarrassing if you don't?" she rolled her eyes before she realized she had no clue how Klaus knew she was alone.
"Where are you," she asked peeking her head outside of the room's door expecting to spot him there so she could get mad at him for not keeping his promise. She smiled awkwardly at the bewilderment of others before she slipped back into the conference room and shut the door.
"Physically, I'm still naked in your bed as you asked," Klaus told her but his voice seemed closer, "Did I ever tell you how much I enjoy the view of your backside Caroline," his words made her turn around spotting him on the screen where she had spent the last two hours forcing her eyes to look.
"What are you doing," she hissed disconnecting their call as she rushed to lock the door behind her before anyone could see her boyfriend covered only in their bedspread on a screen as big as the wall. He laughed his face coming into focus more clearly as he leaned forward.
"I have a friend," he said in explanation mysteriously, "I wanted to talk to you and I know you have another meeting to get to in ten minutes." He said as if it was that simple like a shrug of the shoulders action.
"Yes, I do," Caroline said spotting the camera by her right that allowed him to see her there, "So why is my boyfriend camera stalking me?" she asked out of a way to explain what was going on. "How do you shut this off," she asked again moving back to climb on the table to shut off the projector.
"Caroline, wait," Klaus said as she found the power switch about to click on it and make him disappear, "I just wanted to ask you to dinner." Caroline's fingers froze her head tilting in confusion her eyes seemingly saying 'What?'
"Downstairs, I've booked a private room for just the two of us this evening and I was hoping you would join me," he explained further almost seeming nervous as he watched her move about. She groaned in a cute manner as if to say of course making him chuckle.
"Where else would I be tonight but with you Nik," she huffed crossing her arms at the man she loved, she wished she could be mad at but was still to giddy from the night before to even try.
Peace and love my awesome followers. :))
