Previously on One Night:

"Caroline, wait," Klaus said as she found the power switch about to click on it and make him disappear, "I just wanted to ask you to dinner." Caroline's fingers froze her head tilting in confusion her eyes seemingly saying 'What?'

"Downstairs, I've booked a private room for just the two of us this evening and I was hoping you would join me," he explained further almost seeming nervous as he watched her move about. She groaned in a cute manner as if to say of course making him chuckle.

"Where else would I be tonight but with you Nik," she admonished him before she shut off the screen hoping his access to her might have somehow been erased as well. She lifted her skirt and managed to find a way off of the desk.

"I do love your legs," his voiced boomed in the room as she shut her eyes counting to ten reminding herself that she had some place to be. "Oh come on don't be mad love," Klaus called with a chuckle as Caroline moved to open the door and leave.

She heard his chuckles as she slammed the door a little warm under her silk collar, she couldn't understand why he wanted to stay another night here since she was already booked for a flight out. "There you are," called a co-worker drawing Caroline from her thoughts.

She smiled tightly as he held the door for her to walk through into the next meeting hoping the next few hours would fly by. Wishful thinking those were the words she thought of after the first hour when the team decided to keep them longer than planned.

It was half past nine when she finally got back upstairs to her room disappointed when she saw she was quite alone. She moved to the bed a crease in her brow sitting on top to massage her swollen feet applying pressure with her thumb when she heard the door.

She squeezed her eyes shut huffing as she stood up to get the door, "Caroline," she heard Klaus say playfully from the other side. His voice turned her mood around as she reached for the door letting him in, "You're late," he said crushing his lips to hers.

Caroline's eyes widened before they shut blissfully her body melting into his kiss, "Sorry," she sighed, "Meeting, ran late," she managed as she felt him nudge her against the way. It was as if he couldn't believe she was there, as if he thought she had left.

"You're not wearing the dress," he said surprising her again as he pulled back looking her over leaving her before she could protest. She saw him move over to the bathroom and then she saw it, "Do you like it?" he asked like a little boy showing his first portrait from school.

"I love it," she replied, "I'd look really great in that," she added moving closer to him removing her skirt and unbuttoning her top. Klaus froze his eyes glazing over with desire as he watched her torn between revealing his plan and taking her or making her wait.

He decided a little fun wouldn't be so bad, they still had until midnight, he dropped the dress and lifted her into his arms dropping Caroline on the bed before he crawled in after her removing his shirt as he heard her laugh.

"It's impossible that I'm so ridiculously in love with you this way," he murmured into her flesh as she cried out and he smiled. He had barely touched her and yet it couldn't be helped, it was like this every time, it was always the first time with Caroline.

"Aren't we supposed to go to dinner," she asked weakly as his mouth traveled her navel his tongue teasing her. Caroline's hands pulling him closer and further back all at once needing answers, needing more of him at the same time.

"Right," Klaus sighed, "Dinner," he promptly got up leaving her cold as he reached the spot he had dropped the dress and picked it up dusting it off before he walked back to the bed where she still lay. Her knees shaking as she moved closer to him reaching for the dress as he watched her.

"Stop that or we won't make it downstairs," she warned as she grabbed the dress and undid the zipper as she got off of the bed aware of how much darker his eyes got when she stripped of her underwear and bra before she slid the rich blue fabric on.

"Could you help me with the zipper," she asked looking over her shoulder smirking at the look of awe on his face. "Klaus," she asked snapping him out of it she smiled as he moved closer kissing her shoulder as he helped her out.

"One moment," he said before he stepped into the bathroom he smiled before he shut the door in front of her before she could ask why. She heard shuffling and a ding sound that surely would hurt later before he walked back out.

He was wearing a suit, like a real suit, velvet and perfect like the night of his presentation at the gallery, she sighed at the memory. Before Klaus gestured for her to turn around so that he could help her with the back of her dress zipping it from the back.

Caroline smiled as he kissed her neck and shoulder before stepping back, "Shall we," he asked extending his arm for her to take she blushed before taking his arm and the exited the room. He grinned like an idiot holding on to her as they passed people on their way down.

The rest of the walk was easier as they fell into step eyes still looking and lingering like there was a piece of each other they had just discovered. It was invigorating -Caroline whispered a wish hoping it would always be like this moment even if it was a bit impossible.

After the server had left them alone done with their drink and meal orders as previously discussed while Caroline was working. Klaus gazed at her with almost golden eyes the flickering of the candles around them reflecting the brightness in his eyes.

He took a sip of his wine before he placed it back on the same spot on his side,"I have a question to ask you," he observed the look on her face, "Not that question," he smirked as she sighed in relief as did her smiling like idiots.

"But I do have a question nonetheless," he smiled with his cheeks, his dimples revealing themselves as he leaned into the table. Caroline moved just as he did until her face was closer to his and she felt the heat of one candle close by warming her cheeks.

Klaus blew out the candle for her his hand running over the warmth the flame had created as he whispered to her, "Would you like to move in with me?" he said it quickly in hopes that she would misunderstand and agree anyway.

He was nervous and he was rueful for his thoughts but he wanted her to say, "Yes," Caroline said interrupting his thoughts. She said yes he thought his brain catching up with his ears. "Nik," she called his name, "I said yes stop talking to yourself and talk to me."

"I love you," he blurted making her laugh as he stood walking to her and lifting her up to embrace her as she pressed her lips to his kissing him lovingly. He repeated those words to her with every kiss he gave her and every one she returned.

"Did you think I could say no?" she reasoned with him as they hugged one another still standing and still grinning like fools. "I want to be with you," she said relaxing into him, "I want to complain about toothpaste and take turns doing chores."

"I call the dishes if you throw away the trash," he reasoned making her laugh as she shook her head, "We'll talk," he said kissing her head. "I'm famished how about you," he asked as he spotted the waiter with their meals waiting for a cue to come in.

"I could eat," Caroline murmured as she felt Klaus take a step back and she saw they were no longer alone. "Perfect timing," she complimented as she sat back down with her boyfriend's assistance watching him take the seat in front of her once more.

"Moving day!" Caroline could be heard shouting as Kol, Rebekah and Stefan opened the front door her excitement filling the now empty rooms of her old apartment. Stefan saw her by the fireplace and frowned, "Caroline easy with the microfiber cloth okay."

"Never!" Caroline called behind her as she span around looking at the gang of people that had just come in interrupting her cleaning high. She jumped into her friend's arms laughing as he barely caught her knocking him back a step.

"You already got the deposit back," he placed her back on the floor gently, "You don't need to keep cleaning," he said as she released him. He grabbed the cloth from her hand and tossed it over his shoulder with a smile.

"But it," she tried but Stefan shook his head, "But I," he shook it harder when she grabbed it anyways running for the fireplace when he caught her by the waist. She struggled under his grasp before she went dead weight on him.

"Put it back or I'm telling Klaus," he tried playing his last card n her as she landed on the ground with him on top of her and she began squirming. He sighed hearing Kol laughing behind him and Rebekah laugh as well.

"But he's in the bedroom right now with a paintbrush retouching the 'X' spots I put up for him to take care of." Caroline whined as she turned over looking at her best friend. Stefan pulled back sitting on the floor as he looked close to tears.

"Honestly with you two," he sighed as he did looking behind him at the two Mikaelson's he had run into in the hall on the way up here. Klaus' sister smiled at him and he smiled back as he stood up feeling better already.

"Breathe Stefan or your superhero hair will fall out," Rebekah said deflating his mood just a little as he walked over to the blonde still making eyes at him. She grinned wider the closer he got making him ignore the disgusted look Kol was throwing their way.

"Rebekah," he sighed as he tucked a bit of hair behind her ear, "No more talking to Damon," he pleaded with her as his hand daringly trailed down to her neck and pulled her closer to him. He smiled at how cute she looked when he was teasing her in return.

"But he has a nice behind," she said as he was about to kiss her teasing him more than he could have ever teased her. His face immediately fell, his lips once puckered not turned into a thin line as he took a large step back.

"Then look," he said tilting his head as their eyes blazed, "Don't talk," he said as he moved away from her forgetting there were two other people in the room as he marched away to look for Klaus. He was barely gone a few seconds before he heard Rebekah mutter, "Fine."

Caroline looked from Stefan to Rebekah and back to Kol who was grinning, "Stop bickering on my moving day," she warned them all. "Get to wiping, come on." She said as she picked hers back up and cleaned off the window edges.

Caroline crawled on to the couch alongside her boyfriend and new roommate content and even more so as Klaus' arm came around her lovingly. "Can you believe this place is ours," she said as she placed a kiss on his lips with a smile.

Klaus kissed her once more before he looked back at the paper work he had been reviewing, "I can," he said entertaining her good mood, "Mostly because I have out contract in my hand and I'm looking right at it," he teased with love in his eyes.

Caroline growled playfully as she turned on her back, "Shut up," she whined as he kissed her again, softly at first shifting in his spot to gain better access to her mouth. She moaned as he did making him smile as she wrapped her arms around him and flipped them back so she was above him.

"And now I'm looking at you," he breathed as he laid his head back on the cushion the angel above him smiling, her eyes dancing with happiness and his heart swelling with joy at being the cause of it. His hands ran up her waist and over her back bringing her closer to him.

"Klaus," she sighed into his mouth before she unexpectedly turned her head rubbing her front over him, thrilling him making him groan in anticipation. Klaus nose touched her face as he used to bring her back to him.

Caroline turned with a smile, her eyes focused only on him, "And I'm going to kiss you, again." He alleged placing a kiss on her nose, "And again," he murmured before kissing her chin and jaw, "Again," he whispered into her mouth before he kissed her cutting off her words.

"No, you're," she tried but didn't get to the end of her sentence or threat as she melted into his embrace happy nothing and no one could ruin this for her. "I love you," she said smiling as she kissed him again her hand flipping her hair back so it wouldn't get in the way.

Klaus smiled and said, "I love you," in reply before his hand buried itself in her hair eager to tangle it as he kissed her harder than before tugging lightly each time he applied pressure with his lips turning the kiss in a more favorable direction just as she did.
