AN: I call it the Rosefield. The relationship between Beast Boy and Slade's daughter, Ravager. She appears in the Teen Titans Go! comics, but only for one issue in which she reforms rather quickly. Her comic book origins are a different story, as she has multiple conflicts with the Titans before joining them. I sought to write one such moment, exploring the potential feelings between these two

Garfield Logan and Rose Wilson
It's so cliche.
Their story of hunter and hunted is one he's quite familiar with; from the print of his comic books, the technicolor of the TV. So overused that even he needs to scoff when sees the villainess repent her ways (page eighty-seven, it's doggy-eared), all because the hero said all the right words- that she was never really evil. Just misunderstood. Terra and Jinx are the only exceptions, but he's pretty sure it wouldn't be the sort of thing applicable to anyone else.
And if it was going to be someone else, it wouldn't be her.
A rose with thorns as sharp as blades, stained black and orange. Teasing him with a broken glass smile whenever she knocks him down to the ground or pins him to the wall with an forearm pressing into his windpipe.
A rose that smelled like rust and sweat and-
Something else.
"What?"
He was staring.
Wondering too long why she would take the time to cover every other inch of skin except for the lower half of her face. Wondering whether under the mask, did she have a missing eye as well? Wondering how in the EARTH did Slade manage to have her so fiercely loyal to him.
"How much of a daddy's girl can you be?"
A beat. He can feel the force behind her elbow lessen. For once, a quip isn't already loaded into that pistol of a tongue she had.
"What's it to you?" Her cold indifference has been switched out for heat, there's a new edge to her tone. A sore spot. Contrary to popular belief, Beast Boy was not a (complete) idiot. And he was very knowledgable of the warning signs on whether a topic was off-limits, his experience with Robin and Raven provided him with enough material to put into a book. But Rose wasn't his friend. So seeing her squirm? Lose composure?
He had admit it. It felt good and god help him, he wanted to push her further- frustration and spite fueling his actions rather than concern for his own well-being."You may dress like him, fight like him, even act like him. But you're just a girl playing dress up- trying to be something she's no- ack!"
Ravager forces him to choke out a consonant with a push of her arm, teeth bared as she leans in close. Forcing his green eyes to meet her single blue one and the dark material that covered the other. Her gaze drops lower on his face for a second and she smiles.
And then her broken glass mouth, deceptively soft and full, are against his. Her elbow removes itself before her head dips in and he's glad she's considerate enough not to have him suffocate. What he should've done was push her away, switch positions and have HER pinned and radio the rest of team. Be the hero arresting the villain.
Instead?
Frustration and…. Something else fuel his actions. He returns the kiss in full, the heat flooding his cheeks a mixture of excitement and hot shame.
