Ed pov
Renesmee's boyfriend is coming round today, from what Nessie says he seems like a nice guy but fathers don't normally approve of their daughter boyfriends, I mean Charlie didn't really approve of me till Bella and I got engaged. We told Carlisle that night, we also had to tell Suzanne, she didn't really care, fortunately.
"What should we make to eat?" my darling Bella wonders
"I think we should make something normal, but really nice" Rosalie says
"let's make spagbol" Nessie says "he loves pasta, and it's got meat in it so it's okay for me" Nessie loves anything with meat in, sometimes she even eats raw meat, which is disgusting so we try and stop her as much as we can.
"Sounds good" Bella nods "how about, me rose and ness make the food, Alice and aria you two can set the table. And, no offense guys but we really don't want you doing anything so why don't you just go out for a while" she says, we all laugh, I think what she means is she doesn't want Emmett to do anything but she needs me, Jackson and jasper to watch him.
"Aww, I really wanted to help as well" Emmett sulks
"You mean mess things up" aria says carrying a stack of plates out to the dining room
"Meanie" he frowns
"Now I, really didn't want to help, so now we will happily go" Jackson grabs Emmett and starts pulling him out of the kitchen, me and jasper follow them.
"Bye, see you later" I give Bella a quick peck on her lips and Nessie makes a face
"That's the face I'll make when I see you kissing your boyfriend" I say, she giggles
"Nu uh" she shakes her head
"That's what you say now but wait till later" I give her a big hug, she a bit tall for me to pick up quickly now but I could, outside though "see ya then" I exit the house. I really can't wait to see this jack boy.
AL pov
Ohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh, wegetavisitorwegetavisitor wegetavisitor, yayyayyay!
This is so exciting, Nessie has a boyfriend oh my gosh, I can dress her up for tonight, I can dress everyone up, oh yeah this rocks!
"What do you think he'll be like?" aria asks
"I'm not really sure, 'cos obviously he has everything to do with Nessie, but if Nessie loves him then he's gotta be great
"rose is being really quiet about this, you all said that when Edward started going out with Bella she didn't like it" aria questions, lifting up a plate with her power, she has really got good at doing things with her gift, shame she hasn't been able to practise much with Suzanne here, but Suzanne is still in bed, someone will have to go and wake her up soon.
"Aria, don't do that, Suzanne could see you" Carlisle hissed, coming down the stairs
"She's still in bed" I tell him, he shrugs
"And this is much quicker than using my hands" aria tells him
"You're getting really good at it" he says watching her carefully as she places the plate in exactly the right spot "and your accuracy is getting better" he smiles
"I've been practicing at night" she grins as she finishes putting the place down "and while hunting, I lifted a deer last time"
"Wow, how?" I ask, she isn't even bigger than a deer, maybe stronger but it's not really about physical strength, its more mental strength
"I don't know, same way I lift other things, but it did feel a lot heavier than other things and I only lifted it for a short time"
"Try lifting me up" I say
"Kay, stand there" she points to an open space.
She starts looking at me, very intensely, she was looking at me but not looking at me, it looked like she was seeing through me. She squeezed her eyes shut, she's trying so hard I can see her shaking, if she was human she would be bright red, and now I realised she didn't lift things with her eyes she lifted then with her mind.
"It's too hard" she pants as if she's out of breath
"What are you doing?" a rather annoying voice says, oh damn, Suzanne
"Um…nothing, just setting the table" I say, aria still panting though she doesn't need air
"Why is aria out of breath?" she asks
"None of your business" aria manages to tell her and glare
"Fine" slug hold her hands up and walks towards the kitchen "why are you setting the table though?" oh my gosh…. She has not forgotten…. Fucks sake!
"Renesmee's boyfriend is coming over for dinner" I tell her while aria rolls her eyes.
"Why are you setting up so early?" why so many questions, can she not just move along
"It's like 3pm and Edward and renesmee are going to pick him up at like 5:30 'cos dinner is at 6 and we need time, you have your answer now go" I shoo her
"I guess no more practise" aria sighs, I nod
We finish setting the table like humans would-with their hands and at a normal pace- we finish when it's close to 4pm.
N pov
Oh my…oh my…oh my. I'm so freaking nervous and excited and….. Jack is going to meet my family minus esme but he can come round whenever, I just hope that mum and dad like him, I'm sure they will, he's such a cool guy and he is perfect he's just…my dreams come true. I do feel a bit guilty about Jacob, but Jacob imprinted on me not the other way round and I shouldn't have to feel loyal to him because to be honest I really don't see him as anything else than a best friend 'cos he is my best friend, I can talk to him about everything, yeah its harder now we live in England but he's still my bestfreind and I hope he gets over me really quickly and he gets a girlfriend and then me facetimeing him won't be that weird. But jack is coming round yay yay freaking yay.
"We are going to lay out everyone's clothes for them and then when you're done with your cooking, you can get dressed and we'll do your make up!" Alice practically screams, she is way too excited, this is why we picked her to lay out the table, aria was behind her looking equally as excited, the reason we put aria on laying the table was to keep her away from fire, she would set everything on fire, 'cos 1. She can't cook 2. She is hella excited, 'cos she doesn't really get to meet humans and 3. She loves playing with fire and that ain't good for vampires.
"Calm down, Alice" auntie rose tells her
"I'm trying" she squeals back, the go upstairs to sort out what everyone's wearing
"We are actually nearly done here" mum says "you can go and get ready, sweet heart, we'll finish the rest of it" she tells me. I quickly catch up with Alice and aria on the stairs.
"I have the most amazing dress for you to wear, ness" Alice starts "it's beautiful, but it's actually not too dressy" she goes to go on
"Does it have sparkles and sequins?" I ask
"Only a little" she says
"Okay, let me see it" I say, she rushes into her room, we follow her
In her hands is the most perfect dress for this occasion, it is a rich purple colour, just above my knees and very floaty, with the thinnest straps-so obviously a strapless bra, freakin hate those things- it is so pretty. It has cute little lavender, sparkly bows at the belt line, the edge of the silk was trimmed with glitter and sequins, it's amazing and not too dressy, Alice produced a lavender jacket and lavender heels from behind her
"And of course I have the perfect hair accessories and make up planned" she smiles
"Thankyouthankyouthankyou, this is going to be great!" I hug her really really tightly
"Be careful, you'll crease it" she scowled me
"Alice, just one thing" aria says, I know what she's going to say "please tell me we aren't matching" Alice normally matches me and aria when we go out to dinner with Carlisle's colleagues and stuff, everyone finds it cute and we actually both look really nice all the time but sometimes it's annoying and we sometimes don't like what Alice makes us wear.
"That is such a great idea, aria" Alice's eyes brighten even more they could blind someone
"Fuck" aria mumbles "please no, Alice" she begs
"Yeah, it's not necessary for us to match" I agree
"Okay never mind, next time" both me and aria sighed sighs of relief
"You're wearing this then, aria" Alice carefully put down my outfit and got out aria's
It is the cutest thing ever, only aria can wear it though, anyone else would look weird wearing it, it's a red and black jumpsuit thing with the top half being red and the bottom shorts half being black and sequiny, the red top half was low cut so it would actually look like aria had cleavage, Alice also produced a black jacket and red heels from behind her back.
"oh my gosh, thank you so much, Alice, I love them, thank you!" aria bounce up and down "I'm actually going to look grown up" she smiled so wide it looked like her face would break any minute
"I bet you'll still look cute" I tease
"Shut up" she says still smiling
"Okay get dressed" Alice tells us
"We wanna see your outfit though" I say
"You'll have to wait and see it" she smiles evilly
