A/N: I know that I left everyone on a cliff hanger. I just wanted to post the chapter as soon as I possibly could, because it has been a long time since the last update.
So this is another reminder to vote on the poll, please do! I need to know who to pair Percy with :)
Anyways, enjoy the chapter. I worked hard on this. I know it is a longer one ;) you're welcome. I wasn't supposed to post this chapter until a couple more weeks as I originally planned, but I hurried up and finished it for you guys.

POV: Hecate
"Nyx!" I hissed and she just smiled, as if she just did me a great favor.
"Yes, Hecate, I was the one who took you. The man that was torturing you was Tartarus." She widened her smile "He has a thing for you and when he wants something he will get it in the end."
"Never!" Bob yelled, but Nyx silenced him with a wave of her hand. Bob chocked on an invisible object that seemed to be lodged in his throat. I swore, tried to help him, then backed away, knowing it was useless.
"Now, are you going to come in quietly? Or are you going to make this difficult?" She sank into a crouch.
I looked at Bob, I knew that if I didn't go quietly, then he would suffer for sure. I hate to admit this, but I loved him. There was something about him that was different from everyone else that I had met before. I didn't want him to suffer, but I didn't want to go be with Tartarus. I didn't want to be with anyone, but Bob.
"I'll go." I whispered and walked forwards, my hands in the air. I could see Bob from the corner of my eyes. He was looking away. I watched him flash out of Tartarus. He left. I knew he was safe now though. I would do anything to ensure his safety. I turned back to Nyx slowly, but was hit over the head by an object and I blacked out.
*Hours later*
I came too, my eyes tired. They tried to close, but I forced them open, but I knew soon I would lose the constant battle with them. I needed to sleep, but I wanted to find out where I was and with who.
"Welcome, Hecate." A black figure approached me and I stood up. I was obviously in a throne room as the man just got off his throne. Judging from past experiences and dialogue, I would say that man was Tartarus. "I am Tartarus." I was right.
"Why do you want me here?" I asked, he started to circle me. Trying to get a good grip of my abilities?
"Gaea was a nice wife and all, but she isn't the same anymore. I don't agree with her ideas and wishes, but I support her because she agreed to let me be free. I'm free to chose anyone I want to be with." He paused for dramatic effect. "I choose you." He reached towards me and I tried to back away. "Don't worry. I won't hurt you, after all, you will soon be mine."
POV: Percy
I blinked and my vision slowly refocused. As it focused on a blurry image of a female demi-god it seemed. I wondered what color my eyes were. As I grew up my eyes started to change color with my mood.
When my vision finally finished focusing, I was looking at a female demigod, like I suspected. She was blond, had a smirk on her face, and her eyes were studying me. Those grey eyes, reminded me of Athena. Obviously, this girl was a daughter -or at least- a legacy of Athena.
"You drool when you sleep." She commented. My hand flew to my face and I wiped my hand over my mouth, sure enough there was some drool. That was strange, usually I don't drool.
"Who are you?" I groaned, I didn't want my first impression on the campers to be a bad one.
"I'm Annabeth, I will be your guide." She offered her hand and I took it. She pulled me up, although I did most of the work.
"Where are we?" I said, trying to play the part of a confused demi-god.
"We are at a Camp, for demigods." She said, confidently. "You do know what demigods are, right?"
"Yes, children of gods and mortals, but the gods aren't real."
"Well, they are real. You are also a child of one of them, but we don't know which one yet." She led me towards a group of cabins. I could see the twelve cabins of the Olympians. It was obvious which cabin belonged to the corresponding god.
"Really?" I pretended to be dumbfounded. She gave me a side glance.
I paused on Dionysus' cabin, it was absolutely ridiculous. Honestly, there were grapes growing everywhere. I never really were a fan of grapes.
In the middle of the small group of cabins was Zeus', its white walls gleaming. It was obviously well kept. I knew there was going to be no furniture in there, so I made sure to ask my father to add beds and etc, before I arrived. The Apollo's cabin was shinning like usual, unfortunately the sun was out today. Hermes cabin was looking dull as per usual. Annabeth stopped in front of it and looked at me apologetically.
"This is where you will be sleeping, until you get claimed. Luke is the leader of the cabin and-"She was cut off by the sound of a couch shell, being blown. "Looks like you will need to settle in a bit later. There is a capture the flag game now." She walked away, towards a bunch of children with grey eyes as well. I walked towards the obvious children of Hermes.
"Percy Jackson" I turned around. Dionysus was walking towards me. The campers were whispering among themselves, apparently Dionysus never used their proper names.
"Wine dude" I greeted him, his eyes narrowed but he didn't say anything.
"I will be watching this game, Chiron." He told the centaur. They left, Dionysus looking furious. I turned back towards the Hermes cabin. One of the older looking kids walked towards me. He stretched out his hand in greetings.
"Hi, I'm Luke." He was obviously the leader, since Annabeth mentioned him and his demeanor towards me.
"Percy" I introduced myself.
"Well, Percy, the Hermes cabin has made an alliance with the Athena cabin, Demeter cabin, and the Apollo cabin." He explained.
He didn't say much more because the Athena kids walked over. I was kicked form the discussion then, left to chat with my fellow current allies. It was obvious that we had the upper hand in terms of numbers, but I wasn't too sure about the powers. Apollo kids were good in long distance combat, so they couldn't go to close to the actual fighting, even though there was exceptions. Hermes kids were athletic and fit, but Ares were more so and often strong. Athena kids didn't look like strong fighters, but they probably relied more on skills. The Hephaestus cabin would make good opponents, because of their automations. The fight seemed quite fair, but one of them had me on their side, and I wouldn't lose.
"Percy!" I was called back by Annabeth, who had a big smile on her face. That couldn't be a good sign. "You are going to try and get the other team's flag. We are sending you alone to get it." I had no idea why she trusted an outsider to do such a job, but I knew I would succeed anyways.
"Whatever." I said. I reached for the pen that was given to me by my father and I opened it. Annabeth's jaw dropped. She quickly closed her jaw and walked away. Seeming a little shaken, but she shook it off.
Good, it knocked her down the ladder a couple places. She was obviously over-confident and used to getting her way. That would soon change though.
The game started with Chiron making a few announcements. I didn't really listen, I was too busy looking at this one female demi-god. She didn't act like the others and I couldn't tell which godly-parent she had. I was confused, usually I'm quite good at guessing.
I was intrigued and didn't pay attention enough, so when Chiron blew the horn to start the game, I looked around confused. I quickly remembered Annabeth's words. I ran towards the other team's land. I climbed the highest tree, the flag was around the back of the given land. That would be no trouble at all.
POV: Annabeth
In my impression Percy was an over-confident and lazy demi-god. But I could be wrong, although I highly doubt it. I'm not usually wrong. I know this for a fact.
He walked around like he knew everything about everyone in this camp, but really I knew that he didn't know anything. How could he? He has never been here before. He probably is trying to hide the fact that he is scared, a wimp.
He however did seem like a good ally. He was really muscular and I knew he would do well on this team. Judging from his sword-pen he survived using it. I guess that probably his godly parent left it with him maybe.
But I have to admit, he was really cute. Although, he drools in his sleep and that was disgusting.
I blushed, did I just call him cute? Luke looked towards me with a smirk. He was obviously amused.
"Shut up." I snapped at him and concentrated on the approaching team. The Ares cabin, obviously, came up with the strategy because half of their campers were attacking. I smiled. Athena always has a plan. I told Percy that he was the only one, but I secretly had an eighth of our forces creeping over to the other side. Ares would always expect a head on attack, they were just programmed that way I guess.
Luke and I quickly defended ourselves and the real battle began. Clarisse was nowhere to be found, that was strange, usually she was the one at the head of the attack. Ah, she was out going to find Percy I guess. She always made it her personal business to make sure the new camper knew who she was. It was a waste of time though. I could tell he wasn't going to take kindly to that. In fact, I really wanted to see how it turned out.
"Luke, I'm going to go." I said as we finished off the last of the first frontal assault wave. He motioned for me to go. I ran towards the clearing that the trees made, wanting to witness Clarisse's attempt at trying to discipline the new kid. I whipped on my cap and knew I was invisible. I was able to walk right next to a couple kids on guard. Finding Percy was hard. In fact, when I found Clarisse it was too late. She was drenched in water, hmm, perhaps he was a son of Poseidon.
I continued on and didn't even realise the game was already done, until Chiron had galloped up towards me.
"Did you see the new kid?" He asked "I've never seen a demi-god so powerful." His eyes were wide with disbelief.
"What did you see?" I was curious, I didn't like not knowing what was going on.
"The new kid took on Clarisse and her minions. He hardly broke a sweat." Chiron told me.
Okay, Clarisse was easy to beat, but for a new kid that had her gang up on him I had to admit that I was impressed. This kid was a good ally. Something told me that I wanted to get on the good side of this kid. He could be a very dangerous enemy.
I walked away from Chiron, he was still in shock. I still was no closer to figuring out his godly parent though. His eyes weren't helpful, they seemed to change color with his mood. I filed it away for later, perhaps I could get him to tell me why. He was a confusing demigod. I don't think I have ever met one so confusing.
I hoped that his godly parent would claim him soon.
When the campfire started Percy was nowhere to be seen. Maybe he didn't know that there was a campfire. But that would be impossible, he was staying with the Hermes cabin. They would have told him by now. I took my place next to Chiron, he always let me sit close to him. He was like a second father to me.
I didn't even notice that Percy was on Chiron's other side until Chiron moved. I gaped.
"Hey" He said, his eyes seemed to be reading into me. He made me feel as if he could see my soul.
"He-y" I stuttered, I inwardly slapped myself. I felt like a hormonal teenager that didn't know what to do.
"Are you enjoying the campfire?" He asked, I had to gather my thoughts again before I could answer him. I could see him waiting for an answer and I felt like an idiot.
"Yes, how was your first day at camp?" I asked him. He smiled as if he was secretly amused. I looked away, blushing.
"It was good, but it might have been better, if someone didn't send more forces out to join me, when they said that I would be the only one." I gasped and turned to look at him.
"How did you know about that?"
"I paid attention to you afterwards. You went to order a couple people around after you thought I wasn't looking." I blushed, I'm sure that my face was completely red now. He seemed satisfied by something.
"How is the Hermes cabin?" I asked, desperate to change the subject
"It is fine" He curt answer surprised me. I didn't even realise it was because of the person behind me. Clarisse was glaring at Percy, she wasn't happy with the way her attempt to discipline him went I suppose. "Are you back for another round?" He asked Clarisse and she turned a deep shade of red.
"The house of Ares is against you. Remember that punk." She snarled, but made no move to attack.
"I never liked Ares anyways. He was always a lazy god in my opinion" He taunted her and it succeeded. She reared back and drew her fist for a punch. Percy dodged the punch and judo-flipped her to the ground.
"Remember, don't mess with me." Everyone was watching them now. When he straightened back up a symbol appeared over his head. The lightning bolt shown proudly. Chiron stood still for a moment before announcing,
"Hail Percy Jackson, son of Zeus, god of thunder and lightning and King of the gods." everyone kneeled and Percy looked around confused. He didn't seem to understand why we were all kneeling.
POV: Percy
It was fun pretending to be confused. I knew i was fooling everyone because Annabeth came up to me later.
"I know it is confusing, but Lord Zeus is your father. You need to move your stuff into the Zeus cabin." She helped me carry my stuff to the cabin.
The marble cabin was glowing slightly in the moonlight. Strange, perhaps my father just wanted to make sure I went to the right cabin. I nearly laughed at that explanation.
She stopped at the entrance of the cabin.
"I can't go any further. Demigods from other godly parents aren't allowed in this cabin." She said, fearfully. That made sense, my father wouldn't allow just anybody to use the cabin. Only his offspring could.
"Okay" I said and grabbed the stuff in her hands. I brought it all in before coming back out. She was still there.
"I need to explain something." She said "Zeus is the King of the gods." She started and went on into a lecture on all of the greek gods.
I pretended to be interested, even though I knew all about them. I asked questions when I thought that it was necessary.
She was a good teacher though, many kids of Athena tended to be in the human world anyways. Really strict though.
"Good night" I said, after she had finished.
"Night" She got up and went back towards her cabin.
The next day, when I got up, she was waiting outside of my cabin.
"Hey" I greeted her, she blushed a little, it was cute.
"It is almost time for breakfast" She told me and she lead me towards the a pavillion with a bunch of tables and benches. Each of the tables were grouped by godly parent. A single bright yellow table with the sign of a lightning bolt was in the dead center of the tables. She left my side to go join her table, she said something and then returned. "We can start" She gestured to a table that was full of food.
I quickly got my food. There was a fireplace at the end, the demigod seemed to be scraping food off their plates and into the fire. What a waste of food. I skipped putting my food in the fire and Annabeth put her hand on my shoulder.
"What?" I asked
"You need to make an offering to the gods." She said, seriously. I almost rolled my eyes, but to make her happy I made my sacrifice to my father and some to my mother, Hera.
I ate my food alone. There was no other Zeus camper afterall. Annabeth came over when I finished.
"You can ask Chiron to make a schedule for you." A flash of white light stopped her.
"Lord Zeus" Chiron bowed and everyone bowed towards the King of the gods. I nearly didn't but I decided to keep up the pretenses.
"Chiron, I need a quest to find my missing lightning bolt. Perseus, my son, shall lead it." He said and flashed out.
"You heard him!" Chiron shouted "Perseus, will lead the quest." Chiron shuffled me towards the old house and I walked towards the Oracle. I was always creeped out, but I knew she was harmless, most of the time.
Five will go to the land in the west
Dead will always find its way back
Death this quest will always jest
Never to return, one will be dead
Across the sea will they eventually go
To find the island where no one goes
There on the island is a mythical being
Who has waited long to be a new being
I went out and repeated the prophecy to Chiron.
"I don't exactly understand. This prophecy has nothing to do with the lightning bolt." Chiron was pacing around. "Are you sure?" He asked me that for the tenth time already.
"Yes" I replied
"Who are you going to take then?"
"I know who I don't want to take."
"Who?" He probably thought I meant Clarisse
"Annabeth, that daughter of Athena"
"Hey!" A yell of anger rang out. I smiled
"Welcome" I said as she appeared after taking off her hat.
"You tricked me" She said, angry
"You were hiding" I accused, Chiron looked on, amused. "I was just kidding anyways, I'll take Annabeth and Luke."
"Percy, the prophecy said that there will be five people." Annabeth told me, as if I didn't know.
"I know" I replied "Get ready to go"
