Chapter 1: When he's late for school.
In sixth grade, anything could happen. Today was shaping up to be a decently normal day for me. I arrived at Carver Center at about 7:59, and I managed to walk into the building as soon as the bell rang.
"Sorry Lucas, you're late," said , the Science teacher. You see, I had for homeroom
"Wait a minuet, I was inside the building!" I said very proudly.
"But, you were not inside the classroom, therefore you are late." said.
"Cut me some slack woman, you told me that I was your favorite student!" I said quite loudly. I think the kids in homeroom herd me.
"Just please go to the office and get a tardy slip Lucas, before I write you up." she said. She seemed like she didn't want to put up with me for that day, so I did what she told me to do. I went to the office to get a tardy slip, yet also there was Ness.
"Sup Ness!" I screamed as we high-fived.
"Nothing much, just getting a tardy slip. Claus spent the night over at my place, and he took FOREVER in the shower." Ness exclaimed.
"Speaking of Claus," I whisper. "Where is he?"
"I think he's in class already, that dumb skank" Ness whispers as the announcements come on.
"Today we will be having tacos and mandarin oranges for lunch." said the random teacher on the announcements.
"Sweet! I love tacos and mandarin oranges!" I scream.
"Thank God I brought my lunch." Ness says. I slap him in his arm.
"OWWWWW that hurt!" he says.
"Good!" I say as we get our tardy slips and head to class.
That oddly took a very long time.
