Chapter 2: When he's in Science class.
Today was the most excited I had ever been all year! Today was the day we would do our very first Science experiment, or lab as the teacher called it. The bell for fourth period rung, and I scrammed for the Science room. I sat down at my table, and started doing the assignment. Ninten, Falco, and Bowl all walked in at the same time, and I think they were arguing about what pizza topping is the best.
"Sup Lucas!" Ninten said.
"Shutup, I'm doing my work!" I shouted.
"Whoa! You never do your work!" Falco exclaimed as he set his book down on his part of the table.
"I know, but today is our first lab of the year, and I don't want to miss out on it." I said as I wrote in my green journal.
"Chill man! Its no big deal." Bowl said.
" I know, but we didn't get to do this stuff last year. All we did was vocabulary worksheets." I said as I finished my half-page prompt.
"I know, but it's no big deal. All we're doing is building ramps out of wood." Falco explains as he starts on his prompt.
"I really don't care, I still wanna do it." I say.
"Whatever" Ninten says as the teacher gets our attention.
"Today, we will be conducting an experiment to test the velocity of certain objects." said.
"Yeah yeah lady, GET ON WITH IT!" I say as I cover my rolls her eyes.
"You will be working with your table groups to build your ramps." Seidel says. " You may begin!"
"YAY" I screech. Everyone looks at me funny.
After a few failed attempts, we present our terrible ramp to the rest of the class. We explained what it did and how it made life easier. We were practically booed back to our seats.
"Well...that was a first." Ninten said as we sat down.
"I've never been booed in my life!" I said.
"Well, now you have!" Bowl boasted.
"NOT HELPING!" I say. I think I may have been a little over-excited that day...
