Author's Note: This chapter floated into my head when I imagined an Uchiha dealing with the cat summons and laundry. If you have cats, you know where this is going.

Still don't own Naruto or Naruto Shippuden, but Hijiko is my OC.

Uchiha Hijiko (1) sighed, carefully folding her last freshly cleaned shirt. She hated doing laundry, but it was necessary. She scowled at the shirt she was wearing at the moment, which had a rather unattractive blood stain along the bottom. Stupid Kumo nin... She wouldn't have had to have killed him if he had just listened to her and not tried killing her client. After he'd ruined her new shirt she'd hardly had an option in the matter.

Her summons, cats, insisted that she had completely overreacted when she'd disemboweled the man, but wasn't sure she believed them. He'd ruined her shirt after all, vengeance had been required.

Hijiko picked up the laundry basket and quietly moved to her room, unceremoniously dropping the basket on her bed after she had closed the door.

"There's a blood stain on your shirt." Nekomaru (2), one of her younger summons, noted.

"Didn't you just buy that?" Asked Kuroneko (3), a full grown summon.

Hijiko scowled. "Yes, I did just buy this shirt. I hate Kumo."

"You're an Uchiha, you hate everything." Nekomaru declared, standing and stretching. He had been laying on an open book.

"Cats..." Hijiko sighed, pulling off her ruined shirt. She tossed it into a basket of nearly identical shirts.

"Why do you always get the same clothes? You have like eighteen different versions of the same outfit." The kitten asked, jumping onto her bed.

"It's easier, I already know that I like how it fits and looks on me and it's cheaper to buy clothes in bulk." Hijiko answered, pulling on a new shirt. She turned around and froze.

"Why," She asked, glaring, "Are you both laying on my clean laundry?"

Nekomaru and Kuroneko blinked innocently, snuggled together on top of the clean laundry.

"It smells nice?" Nekomaru answered hesitantly.

"You don't want us to." Kuroneko answered cheerfully. "Cats are contrary like that."

"It's also really soft." Nekomaru concluded.

Hijiko sighed, closing the book Nekomaru had been sleeping on. "Remind me again, why did I want to be a cat summoner?"

"'Cause we're so darn cute!" Nekomaru chirped cheerfully.

"Right... If you leave cat hair all over that laundry and I have to wash it again neither of you get cat treats for a week."

Nekomaru and Kuroneko objected loudly. Hijiko didn't particularly care that they didn't think she was being fair.

1: Hiji means Elbow. The ending 'ko' is generally applied to girl's names.

2: Neko means Cat. The ending 'maru' is generally applied to boy's names.

3: Kuro means Black. Neko means Cat. The cat's name is literally 'Black Cat', creative, I know.
