to 'guest' as an aspiring writer I feel the need to tell you that it is run on sentences not running sentences. And as for my run on sentences I would fix that in editing if I actually edited my fan fictions. thank you for your criticism.

OH MY GOSH I AM SO FUCKING SORRY! IT HAS BEEN FOREVER SINCE I LAST UPDATED ANYTHING! but in my defense I had some medical issues and was stuck in a hospital where they yelled at me for having a laptop in the room and then a family member died and then my schooling started again oh and I was very distracted by my wattpad account...i was neglecting you my little readers I know and i promise to feed you all more words from now on. AKA life has been a bitch to me. BUT i am back and I shall update at least once a week from now on I promise!

Kagome walked through the smoky bar, searching the crowd for Inuyasha, when she bumped into someone, "sorry!"

The man looked down at her, a single brow raised, "are you in the right place?"

Kagome flushed and looked up into his red eyes, blinking a few times as she registered the fangs and pointed ears, demon...dang it, "uhm yeah...I have been here a few times before so I uhm know I'm in the right place.."

He smiled down at her and tossed an arm over her shoulder much to Kagome's displeasure, she just wanted to find Inuyasha and go. The man lead her through the crowd and up to the bar, toying with the end of his long braid, "so little girl-"

"Kagome," she interrupted, "my name is Kagome."

He offered her a small smile that made her skin crawl, "I see..you may call me Hiten," anyways, "Kagome what brings you to The Flea and The Sword tonight?"

"I'm here to see Inuyasha."

Hiten let his gaze fall over the girl, her black hair down in tight ringlets and a rather fluffy black and white checkered dress hung to her small frame, her hands barley covered by white lace fingerless gloves. His eyes stopped on her black wedge boots with white lace ribbon for lacing, before drifting back up to the lacy white headband resting in her black locks, "are you now?"

She frowned at his question, "yes..so if you'll excuse me..."

He shifted his arm from her shoulders to her waist as she tried to leave, "Inuyasha is a friend of mine, I'm here to see him as well, perhaps we should look for him together."

Kagome didn't like that idea one bit, this man gave her bad feelings, "I was actually going to wait up in his apartment..."

"Nonsense the bar is so much fun!"

Before Kagome could say another word someone else cut in, "Kagome! there you are! Inuyasha told me to tell you to meet him up at his place once you got here!"

Kagome sent a look at Kai that she hopped convey her thanks, "well it was nice talking to you Hiten but I really must be going!" she ducked under his arm and jogged up to Inuyasha's apartment, wrapping her arms around herself as the door shut behind her.

Inuyasha glanced up from the couch as the door shut, frowning as he noticed the way Kagome was leaning against the door hugging herself, "You okay my little shrine maiden?"

She smiled faintly at him and nodded, "Uh yeah...your friend Hiten was looking for you though."

Inuyasha stiffened at her words, what the fuck was he doing talking to Kagome?

Noticing his demeanor Kagome frowned and removed herself from the door, "Inuyasha? are you okay?" Her frown deepened when he didn't seem to hear her and just glared at the coffee table. Worried she walked over to him and rested her hands on her shoulder, In the past week since she had been getting to know Inuyasha better he had always been a mystery but from what she could tell he was also usually laid back, sarcastic, and inappropriate...not tense and angry, "Nu-chan...is everything okay?"

Inuyasha leaned back onto the couch having been snapped from his thoughts by Kagome's touch and voice, "yeah...yeah I'm fine. are you okay?" He could smell Hiten on her and he didn't like it. The man must have been much too close.

She giggled and patted him on the shoulder, "perfectly fine! did you need to go meet up with him?"

Inuyasha rose a brow at her as she came around the couch to sit next to him, lets see stay in my apartment with a sweet, innocent, gorgeous girl or go talk to some scum bag dude? "Nah he can wait, what did you want to do?"

Kagome smiled, "well umm maybe we can order pizza and watch a movie?" She blushed to herself unsure if that was lame or not...Inuyasha was older than her and into different things, she didn't want to seem childish to him, the past week had been fun and she genuinely wanted him to like her.

He nodded and picked up his phone, "what kind of pizza do you like my little priestess?"

Kagome smiled and took the phone from him, "how about you let me order the pizza and I let you pick the movie?" He smirked up at her causing her to blink in confusion before he handed her the phone. Kagome quickly dialed the number and ordered their dinner before sitting on the couch next to Inuyasha, "so what are we watching?"

He grinned devilishly at her, "you'll see."

around 30 minutes later

Oh Kagome saw alright and she wished she could stop, her hands just went cutting it to block out the slaughter fest Inuyasha called a move. She would scream every time someone was killed and she was surprised she hadn't suffered cardiac arrest yet. She was about to burst into tears when Inuyasha wrapped his arm around her, causing her to relax a little, having him there helped her a little..but when someone on screen got their eyeballs ripped from their head she realized it wasn't enough and launched herself into the hanyo's lap, burying her head into his chest as she wrapped her arms around him, "NU-CHAN!"

Inuyasha had to resist the urge to laugh, it hand't even been an hour and the girl was scared out of her mind already. He was about to wrap an arm around her waist and keep her close knowing since she was scared she wouldn't complain, he liked the idea of freely touching her without her complaining, when his phone rang. He growled an picked it up, "what?"

After a moment he sighed an hung up, nudging Kagome, "Kai called, the pizza is here."

Kagome was out of his lap and heading for the door before he could blink, "I'll get it!"

He frowned at her retreating figure but let her dart out of the room anyways.

He let her be for around five minuets before he made his way down stairs, searching the bar for her with each step. He froze halfway down when his eyes found her at the bar, he back pressed against the counted with a pizza box gripped firmly in one hand. Kai was looking between her and the demon in front of her nervously. Inuyasha didnt bother with the rest of the steps, he just used the railing and jumped onto one of the tables below. A few bar patrons froze as he waltzed over to the bar and grabbed Kagome's hand that wasn't occupied by the pizza box, using it to pull her closer to him, "is there a problem here Kagome?"

Kagome was thankful that Inuyasha had shown up, the demon in front of her was both terrifying and repulsive. Like the demons from children's stories. As Inuyasha clawed fingers intwined with hers she found herself wondering how people ever found Hanyo's repulsive but could live with demons, Inuyasha was easily one of the most beautiful things she had ever seen...Not that she would ever tell him that. She looked up at him when he asked if there was a problem, then she looked back to the demon who didn't seem very happy. She didn't want trouble, she just wanted to eat pizza with her half demon maybe-almost boyfriend, so she did what she thought would work, she looked up at Inuyasha and batted her lashes "uhm no Nu-chan, I was just talking to this nice man, I'm sorry if i was taking too long."

Inuyasha knew what Kagome was doing, she wanted to defuse the situation and just go back to what they were doing, there was no other reason for her to turn those big blue eyes on him like that. He growled lowly under his breath, he would let it go, just this once. Looking over the demon before him, Inuyasha grunted, "Manten. If you and your brother are here to see me I suggest you try again another time, I'm taking the night off."

Manten turned his ugly bald head towards Kagome for a moment, "I can see that...such a lovely girl."

Inuyasha frowned and tugged Kagome away from Manten, "I know. Thats why she's with me Manten." Without another word he pulled Kagome after him and up the stairs, practically slamming his door behind them.

Kagome flinched at the loud sound, "Inuyasha?..did you know that uh..man?"

Inuyasha nodded, "yeah he's from work, but its not important, Ill put the pizza in the oven to warm it up."

Kagome hesitated before following him into the apartments kitchen, "okay." She sat on one of the stools and watched as Inuyasha rummaged around the kitchen, figuring now would be a better time than any to bring up what had been bothering her all week, "hey Inuyasha, why don't you wan't me telling Sango me and you are...uh doing whatever it is we're doing"

Inuyasha stiffened at her words, he knew she would ask but he was hoping to avoid it as long as possible. He sighed and turned towards Kagome, "I just don't want many people knowing."

A flush spread across Kagome's cheeks, is he embarrassed to be seen with me? does he not like me? "oh..."

Inuyasha blew out a few choice words when he saw her eyes start to become watery, he figured out too late that she would take what he said the wrong way, "look...its got nothing to do with you. Sango is just...protective of you and she wouldn't like us going together."

Kagome nodded, she had been wanting to talk to someone about the conflicting feelings she had for Inuyasha and she most defiantly couldn't talk to her family about it. She jumped slightly when she felt arms wrap around her waist and warm lips on her neck, Her face turned bright red as what Inuyasha was doing registered in her brain, "I-Inu..."

He chuckled against her skin, "what no Nu-chan? I'm hurt baby I thought you cared."

She blinked rapidly and struggled to keep her breathing normal, "N-Nu-chan...I don't think you should be doing that.."

Inuyasha rolled his eyes, knowing she couldn't see him, before running his tongue up the skin of her delicate neck and pulling away, "fine. in that case grab the pizza we have a movie to finish."

Kagome bit her lip, "do we have to?.."

He spun around and wiggled his eyebrows at her, "so my little shrine maiden wants to play?"

She eeped before shaking her head no as fast as she could, sending her inky curls bouncing wildly, "no! Its just that the movie scares me..."

Looking her over he let a chuckle escape his lips, "then you can just jump in my lap again, I'll keep you safe princess."

"I dont think jumping in your lap is the safest rout for me."

He shrugged, "fine then dig your nails into my arm, whatever works for you."

She nodded and quickly brought the now warm pizza into the living room before sitting on the couch, "this movie doesn't have a happy ending by any chance does it?"

Inuyasha snorted, "why would it?"

"All good movies do."

"but life doesn't"

It was Kagome's turn to snort, "Life doesn't have Zombies either but apparently you think that makes a great movie."

This time Inuyasha let out a full blown laugh, "I like your spunk my little miko, it pops up outa nowhere, a nice little twist to your personally. Its sexy."

Kagome couldn't help but smile at that as he settled onto the couch next to her.

The next day.

Inuyasha sat at the table with Miroku, who was looking extremely nervous, causing the hanyo's defenses to go up, "Miroku..."

Miroku's head shot up and he looked around nervously before mouthing one word; 'run.'

Before Inuyasha could leave his chair Sango slammed a knife into the table, "WHY THE HELL DID THE THUNDER BROTHERS CALL ME LAST NIGHT AND TELL ME YOU WERE TO BUSY WITH YOUR LOLITA TO DO BUSINESS!"

Inuyasha groaned, he hadn't even thought about the thunder brothers saying anything about Kagome, "fuck."

"WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU DOING WITH KAGOME ON A SATURDAY NIGHT, ALONE!"

With no visible way out Inuyasha settled for the truth, "watching a movie."

Sango shot him a look, "I could have sworn that I told you to stop trying to ruin her relationship."

Inuyasha shrugged, "oh that, I broke that up a week ago."

Miroku spit out the soda he had been drinking and Sango's eyes grew wide, "YOU DID WHAT?!"

"Well technically she broke it off with him but I may have influenced that decision."

"HOW!"

He rose a brow at the angry woman, "with my tongue, how else?"

Sango wanted to puke, with Inuyasha that could mean so many things, "you didn't molest her did you?"

"not yet no."

She practically growled at him, "not ever Inuyasha!"

"I think thats her c-"

"NU-CHAN!"

All three people froze as Kagome walked into the bar before Miroku half snorted half laughed, "Nu-chan...so not cool dude."

Inuyasha growled at him as the door shut behind Kagome, who promptly froze when she saw Sango and Miroku before palling and pointing at Inuyasha., "THE TWO FACED PUPPY MONSTER WOULDN'T LET ME TELL YOU!"

Inuyasha slammed his head against the table, it was nice to know his little miko was so protective of his life.

Sango sighed, "I figured. Kagome...did he make you break up with Hojo or did you do it because you wanted to?"

Inuyasha's head shot up, "HEY WHAT THE HELL DO YOU TAKE ME FOR!"

Kagome, Sango, and Miroku spoke at once, "Nu-chan is Nu-chan!/ A child molesting pervert!/ Soon to be dead!"

Inuyasha gave all three of them a dumbfounded look before pointing at Kagome, "okay, that doesn't even make sense."

Kagome winked at him, "exactly! neither do you!"

Inuyasha smiled at the girls antics before looking at Sango, "I am not a child molesting pervert!"

She gave him an are you kidding me look before gesturing to Kagome.

He rolled his eyes, "its only a five year difference!" He slid his gaze to Miroku, "dude your a fucking douche."

The blue eyed man shrugged, "says you."

Kagome walked up to sango and tugged on her sleeve, "I didn't wan't to be with Hojo I wasn't attracted to him, I didn't get fireworks when I kissed to him and I...I wan't to be with someone for me...thats okay right?"

Sango nodded and smiled at her, "yes Kagome thats okay...but why Inuyasha.."

Kagome pulled Sango closer so she could whisper in her ear, "Well you said Inuyasha was actually nice right?.." her cheeks flushed, "and uh...I like kissing him..."

Sango smiled down at the girl before making a face, "I can't imagine kissing Inuyasha would enjoyable."

Kagome's cheeks got even pinker as she giggled, "so your not mad?"

"no...not at you"

Kagome nodded before turning to Inuyasha an pulling out a brown bag from her yellow bunny bag, "I visited Jakotsu's shop today and he asked me to give this to you."

Inuyasha's jaw tensed before he took the bag from Kagome, "thanks."

She grinned at him, "no problem! I cant stay today though...Ill see you guys another time then?"

The trio nodded before waving goodbye to the girl as she left. Once she was gone Sango turned to Inuyasha, "Why the fuck is she giving you special deliveries from Jakotsu!?"

Inuyasha growled, "he wants her to know what shes getting into."

Mirokus eyebrows rose, "he isn't going to become a problem is he?"

Sango eyed the still tense Inuyasha wearily, "for his sake I hope not." She gave the hanyo a moment to calm down before speaking again and pulling a file from her purse, "anyways...the thunder brothers have a job for us."

Inuyasha snatched the file from her hand, he needed something to take his anger out on.

Okay so yay chapter done! ill start on another chapter for one of my other stories right away!
