A/N: Hi viewers…! Um, I'm sorry for the long wait (._.) I had to finish up other chapters from different fanfictions or I was going to be flamed by my readers ^~^! And I'm a naturally slow typer… and I gotten extremely lazy (not busy… to be honest) with a mega writers block that combo socked me into not typing at all… .. So, I'll post up a second chapter, just to make you guys happy. At least, I'll try my very hardest to…

So, we left off with me drinking a disgusting magical potion the lady had given me, and felt my soul being sucked out of my body, and then I went blank. Let's continue onto that, shall we?

Life Between Two Worlds

Chapter Seven: Is This My Heaven?

Everything felt dark for a while.

I didn't know where I was, nor could I see, hear… smell… I could feel myself floating from the abyss of nothingness. The last thing I recalled before I went here was taking that… potion, Gladys have giving me-… oh, that's right.

I died.

I should be upset, distraught over this revelation but for unknown reasons I'm not. Maybe this is the world of the dead, souls that left their bodies and now stuck here for the rest of eternity, and the newest soul is me. I wonder what's mom thinking right now, she's probably horrified to find my dead body lumped across the bed, and my best friends… I'm sure they'll be in tears, too. Then again, where's heaven? Unless… I've been a horrible person unworthy of heaven.

Though, if that's the case, why am I not burning in hell? The thought confused me deeply. Okay, so I'm not burning in hell… nor worthy of heaven… so, it means I'm an okay person trapped in limbo? Ah, whatever, I'm tired of thinking about it, I should be more focused on getting revenge for the old woman killing me, bet she created a curse to keep me trapped in this boring space of darkness for the rest of my eternal life. However, it was my fault within the first place for visiting Gladys, and look at the results.

Sigh.

I twirled in the air, absolutely bored out of my mind, and tried some backflips in hopes to bring amusement since I'm floating. I could faintly see my body, but not much due to the dark engulfing me, but it's enough to dictate I'm nothing more than a soul.

At least I died pretty.

THE END.

[A/N: Remember children, don't believe old women who proclaims they can grant wishes for you, it only leads to horrible outcome, like this girl. Okay, bye bye!

You actually think I'm going to end the story like that? Of course not! Let's continue ;)]

Five minutes passes and I'm still doing backflips. I wish I could see my family and friends again, just to let them know I'm okay, but nothing happened for a while now and I'm starting to lose my mind. Well, if I could. I sighed loudly, not bothering to care anymore, "I wonder if it's possible to sleep?" I mused quietly, rather thankful that I can at least hear myself.

"TIME."

H-huh? Wait, I didn't- I thought…?

"Y… OU… R… TI… M…E… BEG… IN… S… NOW."

I began to feel paranoid, unsure where the voice came from. Then, everything crashed on my memory like a waterfall and my eyes widens like saucers. The dream, the mirror, myself and the… fog.

Oh no, nononononononono… I-I seriously thought i-it was just a dream! Did my dream try to warn me about this? Told my forthcoming future? Damn it! I should have listened but I didn't! … W-which means…! Eyes darting everywhere I swallowed a lump of saliva, trying to remain composed. There, within the front of my view was myself, the same girl I saw in my dre- nightmare. Eyes were dark marble dots staring directly at me, its gaze unwavering and lips pasty pale. My body trembled, even if I tried to maintain my courage it was slowly crumbling through each second.

Then, I realized the horrifying fact.

This is real. I really died, and that girl… me, is actually there. She, I,moved and my non-insanity self took a step backwards. With hopes I tried to move away from the body, but internally I had a feeling she would… follow me, just like in the dream. As if my thoughts manifested itself, and for that I will forever curse, the other me hovered lazily towards me, her… my… eyes decreasing slowly in size. Fear gripped me tightly as I shouted, "s-s-stay back! I mean it!" Trying to replace my fear with anger I bared my teeth… only to withdraw with a cry of horror. Time carved into the skull, she tilted her head, and it's bald... her tiny needles for pupils stared at me.

"W Hy wOUld I WaNT to dO tHAt?" I could her voice whisper, extremely uneven and filled with cruelty. This isn't me, I would never look, nor sound like that! "Don't test me." I snapped, acknowledging the body and the situation. "I know what I did, but I'm not going to succumb to you! Nor whatever you're possessing." The girl stared at me for eternity, but I internally puffed out my chest and remained unfazed, eyes narrowed and shoulders squared. It felt like forever, but the girl… she… she smiled, "but I'm you," she said casually, replicating my own voice as she poked me in the chest.

I slapped her hand away, "no you're not! You're never going to be me!" She then frowned darkly, and blinked her eyes. The sockets of white became pitch black while the center of her pupils expanded blood shot red, "this is what you chosen, and now you will face the consequence of your actions." This time I couldn't move, my limbs became stiff… even my fingers went frozen. I felt incredibly numb and my heart pounded so hard I swore it would have cracked my ribs, but even if it did, I wouldn't be able to die because I'm already dead. The girl moved closer to my face just inches away, and here I was shaking within myself like a coward because I am a coward.

I hate myself.

I hate myself for being so gullible, hate myself for being fat, hate myself for insecurities, hate myself for stooping this low for fictional characters, hate myself for not completing my novel I always wanted to complete, hate my crappy artwork, hate…hate…hate… And then, she disappeared in smoke. Immediately, a burst of white light blinded me. Colors, rainbow colors filled my vision and I could feel myself succumbing to the pits of gravity.

I'm falling.

Through the vortex of rainbow, I couldn't scream, just fall freely with my arms spread wide. The extreme tickling sensation within my stomach became nauseating as my body gradually went numb and I squint, tears flowing from my eyes. All then… everything went black.

Ugh… what happened? Everything's so… fuzzy, wait, where's my glasses? Ouch! Goodness, my back hurts like… a lot! I could feel myself lying against something solid and hard, and it certainly wasn't a bed, let alone a cheap one. Slowly, I sat up and looked around…- well, tried, since I realized I wasn't wearing my glasses. "H-hello? Ma?" I called out, yet I heard no response. My fingers brushed the hardness around me, and I gasped. This is cement! Which means, I slept on the concrete! "Hello…! Anyone?" I called as I picked myself off the ground and dusted of my clothes, and then squinted. It was pretty dark, but not enough that I couldn't see the faint outlines of buildings, and by the outlook of it, it seems I passed out between an ally…

How did I get here? The thought perplexed me, and when I tried to recall all I received was a throbbing headache. I sigh, trailing carefully through the ally with my hand brushing the brick wall for support. Finally, I could see a lamppost within the distance, it's dim light flickering through an empty street. "I wonder what time is it?" If I don't return home soon, my mom is going to ground me for a week! I made it out the ally, looking up at the sky… and I went rigid.

This… this isn't home, it don't even look like Mississippi! Too many buildings, too many restaurants, many pathways, and I don't recall an apartment complex. It's almost like a city. I glared at my feet, not understanding. "Where the hell am I?" This isn't making any sense! Did someone kidnap me while I was sleeping? Or-…

…I lifted my arm to my view, gazing at the watch strapped to me wrist. "…I…" Staring at the wrist made me blink, and oddly, I felt myself become numb once more. My mind was reeling the longer I stared at the watch, noticing its handles positioned directly on Roman numeral twelve.

Gladys…TMNT…Potion…Watch…

Death.

I remember now.

Did that mean…? Within the light I gazed at my hands, noticing they looked different than previously before. The texture of my skin had a more 3Dish effect, almost as if they were computer-generated hands, and my fingernails was glistening in black ink. From what I remember, it was purple. I checked my clothes, staring at the non-realistic fabric of my jeans that looked rather stiff, my cardigan appeared clayish and I hummed. It seems like I'm a computer model now, just… living, kind of like TMNT? The thought chilled me, and gave me giddy wonders. However, I wouldn't call this entire proof yet... I ran towards a glass window I immediately gawked. My facial features look the same, but just like my skin, there was a computer graphic gloss over my entire face… a-and look! I tried to comb through my hair, yet all I could feel was a thick block of formulized clay. Not curls.

I can't believe this is actually happening! I can smell the wet disgusting scent of old Chinese take-out, clearly see the midnight sky covered in fog and just felt the weird sensation of 3D skin.

It actually worked.

Faint sounds of metal clashing against metal made me glance at the roof, and I gasped. There's Leonardo! My mind screamed as my lips curled into a huge smile. There on the rooftops was Leonardo: the blue mask, green skinned, and sword wielding mutant ninja turtle! Quietly I squealed when Leo backflipped and swung his katana blade, "go Leo!" I whispered, watching in marvel as the turtle did a roundhouse kick to an android, and I clasped my hands. This is real… this is actually real! I'm in New York watching Leonardo battle! G-great, now if I could calculate a good plan then maybe he can notice me! Huh? I felt something cold wrap around my wrist, and I turned to find a Kraang droid glaring down at me. I yanked, but no avail, "Kraang finds human searching into Kraang's plan. Kraang must eliminate human to subside further information to public." Wait? I'm already being attacked?! Great! Just great! And when I was about to think of a way to nab Leo's attention!

"Let go of me!" I shouted, trying to pull my hand out of Kraang's iron grip. I didn't know any ninjitsu, nor any self-defense, and so I heaved and yanked my arm, causing sharp pain pinching my wrist. I felt myself stumble when the robot pulled me, and I did the instant thing I could do.

I kicked its kneecap on the side and pressed with the sole of my foot, creating a dent within the leg. The Kraang bot staggered, releasing me and I used the opportunity to back away, I need to leave, but at the same time I really don't want to. I haven't even seen the others yet! "Gah!" I whipped around to find another Kraang clutching my shoulder tightly, "Kraang must eliminate suspect from releasing information about Kraang-..zzz!" I saw something sharp puncture through the Kraang's skull, purple sparks flying out from its socket. The sharp metal connected to something wooden… Donatello. I glanced to my right when the droid was attacked, yet I've found empty air. Where did he go? "yaaah!" I felt myself lifted into the air and instantly I wrapped my arms around its (assumingly his…) neck. I look down to find Raph- Raph? I hate Raph! I pouted with a blush, feeling his hands resting between my spine and underneath my thighs.

"Where are we going?" He was taking me away from the fight, which is sorta a good thing, and at the same time disappointing since I won't be able to watch the battle. Raph held me effortlessly, as if I didn't carry a pound and watched buildings fly by us. "Don't say anything about what happened tonight. Nothing about us, the Kraang, the fight. Nothing. You got that?" The tone in his voice made me grit my teeth in irritation. Just who does he thinks he's talking to? Oh, right, he's naturally a douche.

"Whatever, I just wanted to see you guys." I hear him mumble quietly, feeling his grip tightening underneath me and in response I looked away. "Wait a sec, you're those few 'fans' about us, aren't you? No wonder why you aren't screaming." His irritated green eyes met my narrowed hazels, "sure… Look, I don't know what's happening, I just woke up and found myself within the midst of science-intergalactic ninja fighting." It wasn't a lie, but not entirely the truth, either. Raphael snorted, "whatever. Where do you live so I can drop you off?" He asked, or rather said, and I froze.

Oh… I don't have a place to stay. A-at least, not in this universe.

"Uh, I can find my way back home-"

"Yeah, says stranger who 'woke up' in the middle of Kraang's scheme, and can possibly rat us out. Sure, I can trust your judgment." I'm serious! I wanted to say, but why justify? It's not like Raph of all turtles would even bother to listen. Besides, no one would even believe my story. "Now seriously, where you live?"

"I… I'm not sure anymore." I felt my body jerk forward and I pulled closer to Raph's chest to avoid from slipping. I can feel Raph's gaze linger on my face, even when I didn't meet his eyes, "what are you, some random runaway?" He inquired with raised eyebrow and I chuckled. "Nah, I just gotten lost, that's all."

"I thought you said-"

"I know what I said." I snapped, "I just… I took some medication, and… I guess I didn't realize it was sleep-induced. Gosh, my eyes hurt like hell." I can see most distinct features, however, it's causing such a strain on my eyes. Raph sighed. "Fine, I'll just take you to the police station."

"Do you really want to do that? I thought you'd doubted my judgment, I could tattle on you." I said and turned to meet his hardened green eyes, "and if that's the case, then the aftermath probably won't be pleasant." He growled, and I couldn't help but to roll my eyes.

"Sure, like they'll believe me anyway. "There's four talking, walking ninjitsu turtles fighting androids with brains inside!" Do you even believe that's real?" C'mon, nobody is going to seriously believe that bullcrap. Raph grunted, "fine, I get it. But still, don't say anything about it, okay? I overheard Kraang trying to 'erase' people who witnessed their plans, and we don't need to constantly save your ass because you stuck your nose where it didn't belong." The fiery turtle explained as he ran again, his muscled legs moving quickly while wide feet stepped silently.

"Yeah, whatever…- ouch!" Sharp pain sliced across my wrist, a burning heat resting on my skin. The burning didn't stop, instead intensified, and tears welled in my eyes. It felt like someone was cutting of my hand. "What? What's wrong?" Raph asked, but I ignored him as I grit my teeth to withstand the pain, and I glanced at my wrist… the watch.

The short hand stood at twelve, and the long hand jittered between eleven and twelve.

My time is nearly up.

Oh no, I had totally forgotten to manage my time!

"Hey! Don't ignore me here!" Raphael snapped, still running through the shadows of empty streets. I had to think of something, and fast, I couldn't… I couldn't transition in the arms of Raphael right now, it'll be too mindboggling and then next time they'll question me and find me some sorcery witch.

That's not the appropriate way to have a fan meet her heroes!

"I-I-I forgotten something!"

"Well, sorry girlie, but you'll just have to-"

"Kraang!" I yelled, pointing my finger in a random direction. Raphael instantly turned, and with absolute desperateness I enclosed my fingers into a fist and much force I could muster, I struck Raph's face. Pain licked my knuckles, feeling bones rattling from such hard contact and agony slithered all the way to my elbow.

Holy crap, I just punched someone.

"Ow!" I thrusted myself out of his arms and staggered, but I brushed it off as I ran through a dark ally. It's the only thing I thought of at the time! The burning subsided, and I glanced at the watch, well, tried. The inner circle of the watch glowed blue, its numerals shining white.

The hand reached to twelve.

"Hey!" I could hear Raph's voice behind me, and it wasn't that far. I couldn't look back, who knows what could happen…

There was a left turn, and I whipped to my left. Crap dead end! I turned back and I silently gasp. I could see his shadow growing larger within the seconds. Suddenly, everything burned. Like someone just dunked me in a pool of fire, and slowly, everything went dark. The last thing I saw was my body dissipating into sparkly dust, and Raphael finally skid to a stop and blinked in bewilderment at my sudden disappearance.

Hope he didn't see me magically disappear.

I felt myself shot downwards to Earth, flying in high speeds. Everything was all a quick blur, however, I did acknowledge while I passed through is my body lying limply on the bed, and my eyes widened. I slammed through my body, and strange tingles, twists and knots shuddered through my body.

I woke up, gasping. My body trembled from the force of my spirit returning to my body, and I swallowed. "It… it was real." My shaken hand clutched the tiny green bottle and I stared at it.

It all happened, didn't it? It… it wasn't a dream, c-couldn't be, could it?

Gladys, she didn't trick me, she… she was legitimate.

Slowly, I smiled.

Was that my heaven?
