"Put her down!" said Emmet, glaring at Grim as the Demonic-powered figure continued to hold Wyldstyle in the air, the sound of Wyldstyle's choking filling the air.
Grim chuckled a little sadistically, before the smile slowly dropped from his yellow face; the dark red of his eyes glaring into Emmet's, as though challenging him to say something.
"Alright," said Grim, his tone hard to tell apart from his other tones, before the red magic suddenly disappeared from around Wyldstyle's neck.
With a gasp, Wyldstyle dropped to the ground as she gasped to breath. Rose quickly ran forward to get to Wyldstyle, helping her to her feet and putting her arm around her shoulders; she then began helping Wyldstyle out of danger.
"Stay out of our way, whoever you are," warned Emmet, as Laval came running out of the room where the other Master Builders were chained up; a few of the free Master Builders already looked out of the door behind him.
Grim continued to look at Emmet with a hard to read expression, before he expanded his gaze to the other figures in the room, as Gara and Laval both glanced at one another, before they both nodded wordlessly.
As Grim continued to glare at the Master Builders, Laval and Gara slowly paced around the sides of the room to advance on Grim without drawing too much attention to themselves.
Just as they were about to jump Grim when he was distracted by Emmet and the other Master Builders, Grim suddenly raised his hands up by his sides.
Instantly, Gara and Laval were suspended in mid-air; frozen in the shapes they were in just as they were about to attack Grim; Gara with his dagger drawn.
"You mortals amuse me; but my Master hasn't the time for you," said Grim, his glare intensifying as he looked aside at Laval, and Gara, as he slowly screwed his hands into fists.
With a soft grunt, Grim effortlessly threw Gara and Laval aside, the two Chimaians hitting the side wall as they yelped in pain, sliding down to the ground.
Wyldstyle and Rose went over to the two to make sure that they were alright, while Emmet stared down Grim.
"He's going to destroy the Realms!" Emmet shouted.
"I know…isn't it marvellous?" asked Grim with a sadistic smirk, the red glow of his eyes starting to seep into the small cracks surrounding his eyes, giving off the look of fractured eye sockets.
Slowly pulling his hands together in front of him, Grim started to summon red magical energy around his fists, preparing to finally finish Emmet off.
However, he was stopped by a bullet whizzing through the air, striking him in the shoulder. He shouted in pain, stumbling back a bit as he held his shoulder, gritting his teeth as he glared over at the source of the bullet.
Rose.
"Emmet, move!" she shouted, aiming her side-arm pistol at the demon as she stepped forward.
Emmet quickly did as he was ordered, stepping aside as he watched the Agent approach.
"The loyal soldier…turns out you're not so loyal after all," jeered Grim tauntingly, his wound slowly healing up, making it look like there hadn't been any injury there. Even the fabric of his clothes completely healed over.
"Huh…that symbiote did have his uses after his 'accident'," commented Grim, looking over his black trench-coat style jacket, before turning his gaze to the powerless Master Builders.
Emmet and Rose's eyes widened, with the latter looking over her gun, as though surprised that it had little to no effect over the demonic being.
"Now, how about we cease these childish games and be more serious?" asked Grim rhetorically, before he slowly clenched his hand.
Initially, red mist started to form around the closed claw hand. But after a few seconds, the red mist started to fade into an ill green colour, before finally turning into a dark lime green aura.
From his hand, a black staff suddenly grew from his hand, hitting the ground and a green gem resting in the groove at the top of the staff.
"So…who wants to be the first to face me?" asked Grim, slowly lifting the staff and pointed the top end of the staff at each of the figures facing him.
Laval pushed himself to his feet again, while Wyldstyle helped up Gara; the Lion Chimaian snarling in anger as he suddenly ran at Grim.
A slight smirk formed across Grim's features as Laval ran at him, before he muttered a spell and a green energy blast shot out from the crystal, firing directly into Laval's chest.
Laval was thrown back, the green energy arching over his body, centring from the CHI crystal on his chest. He landed back on the ground, groaning and twitching slightly.
If anyone were to notice, the light blue CHI crystal on his chest was partly green; the two sides of the crystal not mixing, as though they were fighting for control.
"Anyone else?" asked Grim lightly, looking around at the other figures that were still standing.
Rose turned back from looking at Laval, and quickly fired a few shots at the demonic figure.
Grim simply struck the ground with the blunt end of the staff, and with a sudden rush of lime green, he vanished; the bullets passed through the green mist, not harming Grim.
He appeared again in a column of green mist, behind Rose.
"Nice try, Agent," said Grim quietly, his tone deathly blank.
Rose turned around sharply, pointing her gun head level; but was met with green mist, for Grim had teleported away.
He appeared in front of the group at the centre of the room again, directly under Darsin, as he started to grow in cockiness.
"None of you are worthy of facing me, let alone my Master," jeered Grim, smirking darkly as he looked over the figures.
Suddenly, a loud, barbaric cry came out from behind the group, and they all turned to look at the source.
It was Metal-Beard's Head; he hopped his way out of the other room, managing to hop large distances in only a few jumps.
"I'll get ye!" snarled Metal-Beard, before he bit down on Grim's leg.
The demonic figure shouted out in pain, before he started hobbling around the area, trying to kick off Metal-Beard's head.
"Get off me, you vile creature!" said Grim, trying to get Metal-Beard off, with a mixture of kicks and firing green energy from his staff.
Some of the energy spells went fully off course, firing into the walls; forcing the figures surrounding them to drop to the ground.
One particular energy blast managed to strike the base of the chains holding Darsin in the air, shattering them and releasing the tension.
"Get back!" shouted Wyldstyle, before Darsin's body suddenly fell from the chains holding him up, and fell to the ground; barely missing the flailing Grim and Metal-Beard's head.
"Enough!" shouted Grim, finally having enough of this foolish time wasting as he suddenly kicked off Metal-Beard's head, managing to get it back into the room he was originally trapped in. The demon figure then raised his staff into the air, looking as though he was going to do the same trick he had done before.
"Everyone; grab his staff!" said Rose, before she started running at Grim; Gara and Wyldstyle seemed to understand what Rose was planning, because they started running at the demon figure.
Emmet wasn't quite sure what they were planning, but he quickly helped Laval, who was still on the ground, with the lime green mist affecting his CHI crystal, and they both started running towards the demonic figure.
Before Grim could strike the ground with his staff, all of the figure jumped and reached out with one of their arms.
Just a millisecond before the staff struck the ground, all of the figures managed to grab onto the staff of the figure. The staff soon struck the ground, surrounding them all in green mist and sending them off.
They were all traveling through the black and lime green whirlpool, all of the figures screaming either in panic, or in Grim's case, anger, as they were all fighting to keep a hold of the staff.
But Emmet's grip was weakening.
"Emmet!" cried Wyldstyle as they all flew through the method of Grim's teleportation, seeing that her boyfriend was struggling to hold on. "Hold on!"
But her words were of no use.
With a final cry of pain, Emmet felt his heart stop when he saw his hand come loose of the staff.
He began to scream as he flew through the whirlpool, putting more distance between himself and the others with each passing moment.
"EMMET!" cried Wyldstyle.
