We are back again! Gonna get some momentum, cause once the ideas start pouring out, I have to get to a keyboard! lol. Now we head to our first major battle with Dan Li's forces. This is where he and his unit must capture Ze Rin Province and raise his banner to form a new nation, by defeating it's Ruler, The 'Stunning Witch', Ryokuhatsu and her prodigy, the explosive and fire crazy, Kakaze Jet, not to mention capturing their army's terrifying base, 'The Lonely Mountain', where people never leave after being ensnared by her charms or blown to kingdom come by Kakaze and you will receive a true showing of why Dan Li will become a well known diplomat. Here we go! (Cause this is a battle, it will be in a few parts to give the feel of a lengthy campaign, enjoy!)

Battle On The Lonely Mountain Pt 1.:

The morning sun was harshly bright...

Even nature could sense the eve of true bloodshed.

Dan Li, followed by Lu Xun and Li-Feng prepared a strategy to take 'The Lonely Mountain'. They assembled their forces of 2500 men and women, to go over that strategy during the War meeting.

War Meeting Commences...

Dan Li: "Lu Xun, please, start things off."

Lu Xun stood up and bowed to Dan Li and began.

Lu Xun: "Yes, My Lord."

He steps into the center of camp and all of the men and women watched him as he began the strategy.

Lu Xun (Continued): "The Lonely Mountain is a dangerous place. I knew this during my time as a Wu Officer. Do not be fooled by that place's small force in comparison to other major forces. Although they only have 5000 strong, it is their strategy that has seen them win countless battles, killing thousands... All their ruler asks for is taxes from her people. Her "never failing" strategy makes her believe she can tax and tax the poor and the ill of her lands... I see no better place to start a revolution..."

Li Feng stands up and walks until he is a little bit away from Lu Xun and then speaks.

Li Feng: "Indeed. Myself and 500 men have already set up for a decoy. There are spots in the mountain, that even the enemy aren't aware of. With that, I and my unit had placed traps and explosives at the exit, last night. I will play the madman and charge "blindly" into battle with a group of our elite soldiers, 50 at the maximum. My objective, will be to cause enough of a disturbance to cause the main camp to act and lead the charging enemies to the exit, or at least, as many as I can. While I have drawn away the attention of the main force, taking them out via traps, My Lord and Lu Xun will already have been marching for the enemy main camp. By the time they realize, we'll already be there."

Dan Li nodded then stood up.

Before Dan Li spoke, his and Li-Feng's ears twitched after hearing a distant death cry. Dan Li and Li Feng's eyes took shifts of panning between the rows of men and women, but there was nothing out of place. All men seemed to be accounted for, to the naked eye...

Dan Li shook his head and began.

Dan Li: "Excellent. Now, Everyone this it. Today is a special day. This very morning! Is the beginning! I have watched the people suffer for too long...Their cries have pierced my heart and their suffering has set my soul on fire. Today... IS... The beginning of our Nation! Onward! Do not stop! Remember why you fight! For the way you want to live! For your families! For your kin! For your livestock! And for the people! Go! GO!"

With Dan Li's mighty roar, The Meeting had ceased...

The battle began in extraordinary fashion. Li-Feng lived up to his hype and shocked Lu Xun watching from a distance by tearing enemy soldiers limb from limb. Wherever Li-Feng had run to, he and his men left a trail of bodies...

"Lu Xun, let's begin."

With that, Dan Li and Lu Xun began to march with their men towards the enemy main camp. Nothing looked likely to stop a well thought of plan, but Dan Li's force was a young one and Dan Li never considered a spy being among his men...

Or did he...?

Dan Li had a blade appear behind him and press at his neck, as the spy cavalry soldier had surfaced...

"WHAT?!" barked Lu Xun in disbelief.

"A traitor?...no...an enemy spy..." murmured Dan Li.

The blade pressed a little more into the back of his neck and blood trickled onto the blade as it had just pierced the skin.

Dan Li's face not changing from it's calm demeanor, Lu Xun's face, a face of constant worry...

"How long have you known...?" murmured the spy from behind.

Dan Li sighed.

"Boy..." He began. "I do not know how much you are being paid for support of the 'Stunning Witch'.. but if you want to live... I'd be careful about trying to kill me in front of my men..."

"Tch. Is that the best threat you can come up with...? And wait a sec... BOY?! I'm 17, what are you like 21?!" The voice tried to stay in shady character, but their immaturity had finally surfaced and the young spy was playing into Dan Li's hands.

"Death only leads to more death..." Dan Li responded. "Say it's me today, it'll be someone tomorrow and the next day and the next day, until it becomes the norm and then what?"

"Then what?" replied the voice.

"What comes after killing so many? What is the purpose of murder for you?" Dan Li continued.

"Duh, Commerce, women, land." The voice bragged.

"And when a formidable force, like Wei or Wu turns up, how long do you think your mountain's trick will last? How many men do you think Cao Cao will throw at you before he finally acquires this mountain?"

"..."

"It'll be tough to acquire your wants when you are a prisoner of Wei, or worse..." Lu Xun added.

"I will kill you!" The spy growled.

"I will ask you only twice, first to the voice,... Yield and I will not kill you." Dan Li stated.

The spy pressed the blade a little more and Dan Li growled, a grimace appearing on his face.

"There is still time for you..." Dan Li murmured.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN?!" The spy roared.

"To work for the Witch, you are skilled, but your talents are being wasted on a trick..." Dan Li continued.

"And what if I like my way of life?!" The spy yelled.

"Then you'd be lying.." Dan Li replied.

"BUT-"

Within seconds, the spy was on the floor, they had been knocked off of their horse and were now looking at the front of Dan Li, as he now stood over them.

"How..-"

Dan Li continued to watch the spy, their blonde hair was beginning to show, with their helmet tipped a little. Dan Li could see the innocence in the teen spy's eyes and with that, he knew could not kill them.

"Get up." Dan Li commanded.

The teen was sheepish because of Dan Li's speed already, yet he found himself raising to his feet.

"Take off our army attire and fight me, Kakaze...Jet..." Dan Li said, with his presence being felt by Lu Xun and the teen, making them both sheepish and wary.

The teen nodded and removed the the armour and Lu Xun gasped. The boy was the bomb specialist, Kakaze Jet.

Kakaze pulled out a few of his home made bombs from his satchel and got into a battle stance.

Lu Xun then yelled "You won't win Jet, please don't throw your life away!"

Dan Li nodded at Lu Xun to silence him.

He then took out his trusty trishulas...

Dan Li's "fangs" were now bared and the stage was now set for the clash of two prodigies, new and older...

Kakaze launched for Dan Li and began to quick light and throw bombs like expected. Each bomb exploded and landed on a part of the ground. Dan Li was performing the smallest movements to dodge and even slashing through some of the bombs, trusting in the force of his strikes and the quality of his blade "fangs" to protect him from the blasts.

Although Dan Li was a master swordsman, One of the deadliest, he was actually faster with his trishulas. He didn't need to dodge the bombs at top speed, for he had already flustered his opponent by a demonstration of his speed earlier...

Kakaze wasn't watching Dan Li's movements, he was fixated on his eyes. They were piercing and combining that with his trishulas, he really felt like he was fighting a beast rather than a man.

Dan Li continued to slash through the bombs as they were thrown. Kakaze beginning to panic, as he realized he was going to run out of bombs before Dan Li would ever tire.

Kakaze was not hired at his age for his ability to throw bombs at top speed, anyone can do that with practice. It was his creativity and quick thinking that earned him a seat at the 'Stunning Witch''s table...

Kakaze smirked as he threw another bomb... Dan Li smiled as he realized something...

"My Lord..?" Lu Xun spoke worryingly...

"How long did it take you to realize?" asked Kakaze.

Dan Li nodded and then responded. "I knew from your erratic behavior at the very beginning. No matter how terrifying I can come across, I do not believe my speed had instantly flustered you. I realized you were setting up for a trap, but like ALL great leaders, I will follow in their footsteps and spring the trap without fear..."

"Trap..?" murmured Lu Xun.

Kakaze then took a wine sack and drank a little of the fluid. He instantly pulled a face of disgust. Then with all of his might, he swallowed with his eyes shut tight.

"What the...-?" Lu Xun questioned.

He then began to laugh, hysterically as the liquid began to work inside of him...

"I'm not just an explosive specialist..."

Lu Xun's eyes widening..

"It is said... that my ancestor was a Dragon. Over time, my family lost the art of transformation, but after years of research... My father discovered a secret..."

Everyone's eyes were now watching Kakaze's.

"That when you drink the blood of an heir..."

Kakaze's back then set on fire!

"Your ancestral blood! WILL AWAKEN!"

Welp that was fun lol. I will do my best to post more chapters, but as I said, I start UNI, in T minus 3 months now. This story isn't dead and I really want to get the last chapter lol. I actually wrote that after chapter one haha. Anyways, stay cool, review and like and stuff haha. Catch yall soon!
