Last time on; Was it Fate or Destiny?;

"I managed to do one thing. I managed to love you with a passion. Not a passion so big that it consumed be but a passion so big that it scared me," Sting admitted "I was scared because I've never felt this way towards a person. I love you Lucy."

Lucy didn't even get time to speak, Sting had already pulled her closer to him by her waist and was staring into her eyes. She didn't want to talk anymore so she waited for what she knew was sure to come. Sting leaned in closer and so did she.

"I think this is going to be our first romantic kiss." Sting teased and Lucy rolled her eyes before bringing her lips to his. Sting kissed back bringing her closer and Lucy's hands went to his neck.

2 weeks had gone by since Sting's confession to the blonde that lay next to him on her bed. Rufus and Yuniko were still on their honeymoon but the two lovebirds didn't mind that fact much. It was Friday after school and they were just relaxing together, both laying on Lucy's bed staring at the ceiling just have the presence of the other, was enough for them.

"Sting?" Lucy asked as she sat up

"Lucy?" Sting mimicked her staying down

Lucy pouted at him knowing that it was one of the only ways that she could get him to listen to her. She had discovered it early in the week, one lunchtime.

~ Flashback~

"Natsu's having a party this weekend, we should go." Lucy told him as the had their in the shade of the school building, a place that had now become their spot. Lucy had her head resting on his lap while Sting had his back to the wall.

"I don't think Natsu would like me coming to his party." Sting reminded as he played with her hair.

"I'm sure he won't mind. It's this Saturday." Lucy informed him

"I'm going to Loke's this Saturday." Sting said trying to sound disappointed that he couldn't join her but he was actually relieved. He hadn't come to enjoy Natsu's company and the feeling was mutual.

At that Lucy gave a pout because Sting seemed to be at Loke's every Saturday, which meant he couldn't attend the beach party last week leaving her to go alone. Half of their friends were paired off and she didn't want to third wheel anyone. She also felt like the only time she got to spend with Sting was Tuesday and Thursday as well as Monday and Friday after school. She didn't want to seem selfish but she wanted more time with him.

"Could you just not pout?" Sting asked her looking away

"I can't help it, you're always going to Loke's." Lucy told him

"Come on, you know that Loke, Meredy and I have our thing," Sting told her, Lucy cringed when he said Meredy, she still didn't like her. "I promised them I would see them more often when I had the chance."

"I know, it's just you know." Lucy said, not making sense.

"Why don't you come with me then?" Sting asked, it would be the perfect way to get Loke, Meredy and Lucy closer. He couldn't stand that his life long best friends and his girlfriend didn't seem to get along.

"Why don't they come here?" Lucy suggested, she didn't like the thought of being with Meredy without having anyone else she could count on and she knew that Sting would be too busy with Loke to really be there with her. The biggest issue was the fact that she would totally be the 4th wheel to their little group.

Sting thought about it, it would be great to have Meredy and Loke stay over but the space wasn't there. He was sure he could find a way but he wasn't concentrating well considering that Lucy looked so cute when she was pouting. Her lips also looked quite inviting. How does she expect him to come up with an answer given the situation?

"Quit with the pouting, I beg of you." Sting voiced out his thoughts.

"I will when you stop being a unfair boyfriend." Lucy explained, loving the way boyfriend sounded.

"I could come to a decision a lot faster if you stopped being so damn cute," Sting told her, letting out a sight of frustration "Right now all I'm thinking about is kissing you senseless and if you continue, I might just do that."

Lucy blushed out of embarrassment from two things: the fact that Sting said that and the fact that she wouldn't mind him doing just that.

~ Flashback end ~

"The more you pout the less of an effect it has on me." Sting told her, knowing exactly what she was doing.

"I could always find other means of getting you to listen." Lucy said

"Like what?" Sting challenged her.

"I could always do this," Lucy said as she got closer to his level and gave him a sweet and slow kiss that didn't last long much to Sting's disappointment. "Then again I could always stop doing that."

"Such teasing should be illegal. You can't just use your lip to get me to do what you want," Sting said missing them "You better be careful, you might be on you're way to becoming a stripper or a prostitute."

Lucy grabbed a pillow to smack him on the head but Sting had already moved out of the way. He was smart enough to know she would try to harm him in a way after he said that.

"Fuck you, go to hell Sting." Lucy said hugging the pillow.

"Mind your language. You're still under Rufus' roof." Sting reminded her

"Well he isn't here right now." Lucy said looking at him

"I still think you should respect his rules, they're for your own protection." Sting told her, moving to sit back on the bed.

"Then I think you should get out of my room. No boys allowed upstairs in one of his many protective rules.

"I'd like to think I'm the exception to that rule." Sting explained laying down on his back again.

"I beg to differ," a voice said from the doorway "I actually think, you're the reason the rule was invented in the first place."

They turned to face to voice, Sting smiling and Lucy trying to break into a smile. It was Meredy but Loke wasn't behind her, meaning she came alone. Sting was happy to see her so he over looked the fact that she managed to get into Lucy's house when she had made sure to lock the front door.

"I just happened to be third wheeling Loke and Aries constantly. I swear I need myself a man too." Meredy said stepping into the room

"I thought I was your man and Loke was the back up." Sting joked standing up to go hug her.

"Oh please, we both know Loke stopped being the back up when he got smitten over Aries," Meredy went along with it giving Sting a huge hug. "You on the other hand will never stop being my man."

Lucy waved to Meredy once her and Sting weren't hugging anymore. Though she knew they were just joking around she couldn't help but feel as if Meredy's words held some sort of truth to them. Meredy waved back at her with a smile, she still didn't quite like Lucy but if she made Sting happy, she could bare with her.

"Is Loke going to join us soon?" Lucy asked feeling awkward

"He stayed behind with Aries." Meredy replied

"Awesome. That means I get to go to the party with Lucy without her having to drag me there. Which also mean you can come with!" Sting said turning away from Meredy to face Lucy to see if she would be ok with that. Lucy gave a nod with a smile and that was all Sting needed.

"I dropped my bags off at your house." Meredy told Sting changing the subject; she really didn't come here to go to a party where she didn't know anyone.

"Perfect, now I'm going to give you a tour of my favourite places around this town." Sting told her moving to get his bag and his jacket. "I'm just so excited you're here. I was really looking forward to coming this time to put that asshole you told me about in his place but this is way better."

At this Meredy smiled and went towards the door as Sting kept talking a bit more as he made his way in front of Lucy who was still sitting up on her bed. It was like she was completely forgotten. Sting got to her level and gave her a quick kiss on the check while Lucy stayed stunned in the position, it was all happening so fast.

"I'll call you tonight." Sting told her before he left the room.

"I'll be wait," Lucy called after him "It was nice seeing you Meredy."

"It was a pleasure, though short." Meredy called back

That left Lucy alone in her room, her Friday plans with Sting completely evaporated in the air. There was only one ting she could do and that was call up the love expert, Mira.

"Hey Lucy, I thought you were with Sting." Mira said once she had picked up

"Well I think I just got ditched by Sting for Meredy." Lucy explained getting straight to the point, she knew she had nothing to worry about but the Fridays were special to her, actually any moment spent with just her and Sting were special to her.

"He did what?" Mira asked surprised

"She just showed up, said hello to me and then her and Sting completely seemed to forget I was there," Lucy told her "I feel like I'm over reacting but I can't help it. I just know that Meredy has some sort of crush on Sting."

"Well who wouldn't have a crush on Sting?"

"You're taken!"

"I'm just saying if I wasn't I would-"

"Mira!" Lucy cut her off.

"I'm kidding, his totally all yours from the start." Mira assured her

"I know but Meredy and him have this deep history."

"I think they just entered the house."

"Wait, your with Laxus?"

"Yeah, I stepped into the bathroom when you called."

"Oh, sorry I took you away from him."

"We were watching a stupid football game. I should be thanking you," Mira told her, Lucy laughed at this "How about I keep an eye out on the two of them and give you a report after?"

"I don't know." Lucy questioned this

"Too late." Mira said hanging up on her

Lucy knew it was a bad idea to allow Mira to do this but she couldn't help being jealous that Meredy could just walk in and take Sting with out him even considering her feelings. She could pass the time by doing homework or watching TV but she couldn't get over it and she couldn't sit and wait for Sting to call TONIGHT! It was only 16:00. So she dialled the next person she thought could help her, Cana.

"Hey, Cana." Lucy said

"Lucy!" Cana yelled into the phone

"Are you ok?" Lucy asked laying down on her bed

"I'm fine, I'm just sober right now," Cana explained "Daddy cut me off."

"He has never done that before."

"Well, when a father finds out his daughter lost her flower it turns out he flips and starts becoming super protective."

"You lost your what!" Lucy yelled sitting up

"It's not a big deal and I'm not pregnant so it's all good."

"It is so a big deal." Lucy told her still in shock

"Look, we all lose it some day. Honestly people should just chill. Besides you can't tell me that you and Sting haven't totally gotten close to closing the deal with the amount of times he spends with you after school and at lunch."

"His hands haven't gone father than my checks and his only kissed my mouth, check and forehead."

"So what you're saying is, you have a guy that looks that good and you haven't tried something more, how do I say this, pleasuring. That's the right word. You haven't had more pleasure than that?"

"I don't think we need to."

"Clearly you do if you're calling me when you're supposed to be with him."

"His off with Meredy."

"Big tits Meredy?"

"She does-"

"Lucy, I know this is hard for you to find out but Meredy beats you in that department."

"I doubt Sting cares about that."

"He does seem to care about her a lot from what you've told us."

"He cares about me too!"

"Of course, look I got to go. Bacchus is here to sneak me out. We're celebrating not becoming teenage parents."

"Cana, do you really-"

Lucy didn't get to finish her sentence because she was cut off by Cana, who had ended the call.

She can't be right. I mean Sting wants more from me than just that, if he wanted that he could have easily gotten it from Meredy in the first place. She does have bigger ones though and didn't he stare at them that one time at the dinner? NO Lucy, you trust Sting not to sink that low. He loves you for crying out loud stop doubting him. He'll call in the next 5 hours and everything will be all right.

Even though she cleared that up in her mind it didn't stop her from calling Levy, her more sensible friend would help her more clearly to not doubt Sting.

"Lu-chan!" Levy said

"Levy-chan!"

"Is everything ok? We saw Sting enter his house with Meredy an hour ago."

"Everything is fine."

"You're lying, you're worried about something."

"Do you think Sting prefers Meredy over me? I mean she came to my house and before I knew it, Sting was out of my room talking about Meredy and what they can do together."

"I think he does." Rouge voice said in the background.

"Don't listen to him." Levy assured her

"Stop trying to assure her, just give her the truth. Sting prefers Meredy to Lucy because he and Meredy have this long messed up history. It's just like how he prefers Loke to me." Rouge said

"But Lu-chan and Sting are dating." Levy said

"All Sting and Lucy do is talk and kiss right?" Rouge asked

"Right." Lucy replied

"Well Sting talks to Meredy, she knows everything about him so he doesn't have to explain half his actions and Sting and Meredy have kissed." Rouge said like it was no big deal

"Rouge! Lu-chan, how about I call you back, I need to deal with an insensitive jerkass." Levy said ending the call

That wasn't much help either. I'm going plain out crazy! Meredy and Sting have kissed! When, why and where did that happen? Was it last weekend or was it earlier? How could this be happening? Why aren't my friends being more, heck I don't even know anymore?

"Hello?" Lucy said as she answered her phone, going away from her thoughts.

"Lu-chan, I hate to admit it but Rouge is right. However I think you just need to find something only you and Sting do or have together." Levy said

"Don't forget that Sting's not an insensitive jerkass, just talk to him. You didn't find out about the kissing though from me, in fact you have no clue about it." Rouge added on

"Thanks guys." Lucy said ended the call

What she really needed to do was sleep on this, she was making such a big deal out of nothing. So what if Meredy took Sting away for the day, she was always going to be there with Sting for the other days she wasn't here. As Lucy was about to close her eyes, satisfied with her conclusion her phone rang.

"Hello?" Lucy said answering it

"Lucy! Sting and Meredy have been out all this time and it's 20:00. Laxus made us stop following them at 18:40 and then he drove me home and is keeping guard to make sure I don't go out and find them." Mira talked fast to her

"Then how do you know they aren't home?"

"I made Laxus drive us to his house for better assurance."

"We could be doing something fun right now, if you know what I mean." Laxus voice could be heard

"Um…Mira?" Lucy asked

"I just thought you should know that, I'll be going now." Mira said ending the call fast

Lucy couldn't bear to bring herself to think what they were going to do but she wasn't going to panic over a minor detail like this. She trust Sting loved her like he said and she was going to respect that.

*4 hours later*

It was midnight and still no call from Sting. Lucy was pacing her room waiting, she could have called him herself but she didn't want to seem like a needy, worried girlfriend who calls 4 times just because her boyfriend didn't keep his calling promise. It was just this thing they had together, their night time calls were always at 22:00, nothing earlier and nothing later.

I should go over to his house but that would seem like I've lost my mind or I've gone crazy. I could call again but that seems desperate. I could call Mira to see if they're back yet but she and Laxus are probably busy. I could call Levy to ask if she's seen them come back home from her window but then Rouge will lecture me. Screw it, I'm going over there right now.

With that she opened her bedroom door, phone and jacket in hand, went down the stairs, grabbed the house and car keys and opened the front door. To her surprise the boy on her mind the whole day was standing there with chocolates and two roses.

"I know I didn't call." was the first thing Sting said

"Oh, I didn't notice." Lucy gave a sarcastic reply

"Were you heading out to meet someone?" Sting asked

"I wasn't sure he was going to be home but I thought I'd just check you know. I had to find a way to get my mind at ease." Lucy spat, angry now that he had the nerves to actually show up looking so romantic and thoughtful when he clearly wasn't when he left her earlier in the evening.

"The chocolate's are to apologize for leaving like I did, please don't yell at me. Meredy already did and she slapped me too. The first rose is to apologize for not calling like I said I would at our time, I guess I lost track of time with Meredy that it slipped my mind. The second rose is to apologize for letting something as important as our calling time and our Friday after school thing slip my mind." Sting explained to her not daring to look her in the eye.

"I had Mira spy on you, Cana talk about fucking you and Levy with Rouge talk about you preferring Meredy over me. You have no idea how one simple thing like you leaving our Friday after school thing drove me crazy. If you had done it before, I wouldn't have minded but, I guess I've already almost lost you and almost never had you that now that I have you, I'm going crazy because I fucking love you to much." Lucy poured out to him not angry anymore

"Wait Cana talked about fucking me? I thought she had Bacchus."

"She meant me fucking you and seriously is that the only thing you heard?"

"I heard that you're crazy in love with me."

"Not for long buddy."

"Well I hope you know I'm crazy in love with you too," Sting told her, stepping into the house, closing the door, putting the gifts down and pulling her closer to him. "I'm so crazy in love with you that all I could talk about with Meredy was you to the point that she yelled at me and lectured me for hours only to concluded that she just wants to hear about me and that's why we went over time."

"Enough about Meredy. What's the other reason you're here?" Lucy asked wrapping her arms around his neck

"Well to disappoint Cana, it's not to fuck you," Sting answered adding a whispered yet "It's to do this."

Then he kissed her, sweet, gentle and passionate just the way he always did. She kissed back of course with just the same amount of emotion and pretty soon they were making out as they moved to the couch in the living room, not disconnecting their lips.

"I just hope you never doubt that I love you every again." Sting whispered into her ear as he left her lips

"Yeah sure of course," Lucy said not really caring anymore this was the first time they were making out after all "Just shut up for now and kiss me."

Sting did just that and he allowed his hands to wonder to her waist as she played with the hair at the back of his head. After about 15 minutes they ended up with Lucy laying on the couch and Sting on top of her, clothes thankfully still on.

"Well, I didn't expect this to be my greeting." Rufus voice said

Sting got off Lucy and Lucy sat up quickly, only to find Rufus and Yuniko stands right in front of them, not looking pleased at all.

"Fuck." Sting whispered

"Fuck indeed." Yuniko agreed with him, she was actually trying to prevent a giggle

"I get it you're in love and what not but for heavens sake, I thought you would at least try to keep the damn thing in your pants Sting!" Rufus yelled

"I have sir, it's just this was the first time we've made out since we started dating and I guess we did get quite carried away." Sting explained

"Lucy, to your room." Rufus said

Lucy stood up and left but not before kissing Sting right on the lips and wishing him a good night all right in front of Rufus who no doubt was going to lecture her after.

"Welcome back Rufus." Lucy called, as she was half way up the stairs.

"I like you Sting but don't ever let me catch you doing that with Lucy again." Rufus told him

"I doubt she'd allow it again." Sting told him

"You'd be surprised, I think you just opened a door for her." Yuniko commented

"Yuniko!" Rufus said

"You know it's true, you saw her eyes. They were filled with want and need and maybe even a little bit of-"

"I'm just going to get going." Sting said making his way for the door; he didn't really need to know the end of the sentence

Sting drove home to a quite and dead house. He couldn't believe that he had gotten caught in a situation like that; he was more surprised that the situation actually presented itself. He was still thinking about it when his phone rang.

"Hello?" Sting said

"I'm grounded, no party and no phone, this is the last time I'll be able to contact you." Lucy's voice spoke fast

"You're being over dramatic." Sting told her

"I also have to inform you that, we are not to kiss for the next week nor are you allowed my house for the next week nor me in yours."

"It was just a hard core make out."

"A sexy hard core make out."

"Can't Rufus hear you?"

"Yes he can."

"What's come over you?"

"I'm just a girl who's crazy in love with this boy who Destiny brought me too."

"Cheesy much? I think it was more of Fate's doing."

"Who cares which one it was? Maybe it was both or maybe it had nothing to do with them because it was actually cupid with his arrows."

"Well he short me with his strongest one cause I'm crazy in love with you too."

"Goodnight Sting."

"Night Lucy."

The call ended there.

Finally I finished the last and final chapter. I wanted to find the perfect way to end this little story with a little drama, heat and lots of love. I know it's been forever but I didn't want to rush the ending to much and I know it's like hella long but I hope you loved every single bit of it. Thank you all for following and favouring my story for so long and I'm sad to have it come to an end.
