"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!"
"Jaune! Jaune shut it down!"
The test with Doctor Banner's machine had once again gone haywires as Banner was in mid transformation to the Hulk.
"Jaune what happened!?" yelled Weiss.
"I-I…I don't know! I-I-I just d…did what he told me to do…!" said Jaune as he was on the floor shaking in fear of what was happening to Doctor Banner.
Pyrrha ran to the computer and tried to shut it down but the computer ended up crashing and spark from the machine's haywire. She fell back when the computer screen exploded and caught on fire. Weiss pulled out Myrtenaster and flipped its dust cartridge and used the blue dust to freeze the area that was on fire to stop it quickly before the flames had spread.
"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH! RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!"
Blake didn't know what to do. She was scared for doctor banner as well for the well being of her teammates and friends. She ran over to the half transformed Bruce and climbed onto the beast.
"BLAKE WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" yelled Yang who tried to stop her.
"Doctor Banner! Doctor Banner please listen to me! You have to fight the control! You can't let the hulk get the better of you and take control! Please…we want to help you!" yelled Blake as she looked him in the eyes worriedly.
Bruce looked at Blake and remembered when Betty did a similar action like this. He felt himself starting to calm down and his body stopped growing. Blake climbed down off of Bruce as he started to revert back to himself. Blake was able to temporarily stop the doctor from turning into the hulk. However the experiment was proven to be another failure as the other attempts.
-Later that Evening-
Bruce was sitting down on his bed in the spare dorm room that Ozpin let him stay in. He was feeling depressed and defeated after another experiment failure. He didn't understand why all the formulas he makes and serums he creates don't work. It felt pointless to even try anymore with all the failures. There was a knock at the door as Bruce walked over to the door and opened it. Blake was standing there and a worried look on her face, she must have been worried about the doctor after the lab accident.
"Doctor Banner…how are you feeling sir?"
"….I'm ok Blake….Thank you again for helping me back in the lab. I need to work on cleaning it up and fixing it when I go back tomorrow…give my thanks to your team and Team JNPR as well. I am sorry you had to see that incident…" He sighed as he walked back in the room and sat at his desk.
Blake walked in the room and toward the desk to see what it was Bruce was working on. It had many blueprints of the machine he used and the machine that used whatever serum he injected into it.
"So did you make all this?" she asked.
"I designed it. The military helped me build it though. It takes a while to build by ones self to be honest. But it's worth it if one of my attempts helps me find a cure for my transformation to the Hulk." He sighed as he put away the blueprints.
"Anyway, I must be heading to bed now. I will see you in the morning Blake…"
She nodded and headed for the door. She stopped and looked back at Bruce. "Doctor Banner…no matter what anyone says….you're not a monster for what happened. If anything you're the true victim, and I'll do whatever I can to help you…is that alright with you?"
"….Thank you Blake. I hold you to your word then." He gave her a relaxing smile as she told him goodnight and left for her dorm room.
In Team RWBY's room Blake walked in to see the others getting ready for bed.
"What's up Blakey? How's doctor Banner?" asked Yang.
"He's ok. But I can see he's really sad and down about the experiment failing…"
"Maybe we should help cheer him up a little. He could use the encouragement!" suggested Ruby.
"Then how do you suppose we help him then Ruby?" asked Weiss.
"….I'm working on it."
