This is such a short chapter, but I really wanted to update it. This is my just a little snippet into how Clint and Natasha find out about Captain America and their missions before Clint is comprimised. Hope you like it.

"NATASHA, FURY NEEDS TO TALK TO YOU!" Coulson shouted over the phone.

"What's happened? Has Clint been injured?" I said immediately, worrying about him, even though I knew he was not on a mission.

"No, nothing bad has happened." he said a bit calmer and I breathed out subconsciously from the relief of Barton not being harmed. An awkward silence filled the phone as I realised my stupidity from the sudden release of emotion.

"Just come to the director's office in 20 minutes. And bring Clint! Fury has some brilliant news!" he continued sounding a lot more excited than usual.

I was about to ask what had happened, but I was greeted with a deadline tone. What was Coulson so excited about?

I went to Clint's room and knocked on the door. I heard a few quick steps come to open it and I was met with a sweaty archer, who looked like he had just run a marathon. His arms weren't as good as Thor's, but damn they looked good. Suddenly coming to the realisation that I was stood in his doorway staring at his arms for 10 seconds, I looked up to see him smirking a little.

"Like what you see?" he asked with a full grin on his face now.

"Fury wants to see us in 20." I said completely ignoring his question and keeping my face still. I would have said no anyway. Perhaps.

"Alright, well let me just take a shower first. You can grab something to eat here while you are waiting if you want." he said.

"Thank you."

As I heard the shower turn on, I paced around his room. S.H.I.E.L.D rooms were quite large and it contained all the rooms of a house packed into one. Similar to that of a hotel room, apart from the fact that one wall was completely filled with weapons. Because we have high level security, we get larger rooms than some of the other agents. They have to cope with rooms half of our size and live without a coffee machine. If I didn't have my morning coffees, I don't know what I would do. Whilst I was daydreaming about me and Clint knowing each others coffee orders, I didn't realise that the shower had turned off.

I heard a door open, turned around to see him with a towel hanging loosely on his hips and I found it extremely hard to turn away, but I did eventually.

"How long do we have?" he asked grabbing a shirt, pants and trousers.

"10 minutess" I replied.

"I'll be changed in a minute. Do we need weapons?"

"No, just us."

"Just us." he repeated before going back into the bathroom.

We walked down the corridor and saw Coulson standing outside Fury's door with a huge grin, which he was hopelessly struggling to keep under control.

"Just go straight in." Coulson said finding it hard to control the excitement in his words. Now I was curious about the news.

"Romanoff, Barton." Fury greeted us as we came into his office. Gesturing for us to sit on chairs, he gave us each identical files with the words 'Stephen Rogers - Captain America'. Coulson, still smiling, stood in the right hand corner of the room.

Me and Clint looked at each other wondering why we were being given files for a dead guy.

"Rogers has been discovered in the ice." he said. I was still confused. A new discovery of an old dead American hero. Not that big of a deal I thought before Fury added "Alive." to the end of his sentence.

What? That is impossible. How could that guy be alive. He must be about ninety years old.

Clint must've been thinking the same thing, because I looked over to find his chin practically dropped to the floor.

So this is why Coulson was so excited then...

After being de-briefed about Captain America, and his practically amazing survival skills, Fury talked to us about our own missions.

I am being sent to Asia on an undercover assignment and Clint has been put on an assignment in the Mojave Desert.

I hate being split apart from Clint. It is like he takes my concentration with him whenever he goes.

I went back to my room to pack everything that I would need. A little black dress and weapons basically.

I had to leave in 15 minutes time to be at the S.H.I.E.L.D car in time and decided to pay Clint a visit before I left.

I know how dangerous the Teseract is and I don't want Barton to get hurt.

I knocked on his door and waited for him to come and answer, but I couldn't hear anything.

I waited for 10 more seconds and then knocked on his door again. I was about to go to my room and climb through the vent when I was interrupted.

"He has gone to PEGASUS already. I'm sorry you didn't get to say goodbye." Coulson said from behind me.

I didn't want to admit that I was saying goodbye to Barton. Think of an excuse. Think of an excuse.

"I left my gun in his room. I was a bit distracted earlier, because Fury wanted to see us." I said.

"Right. Goodbye Natasha." Coulson said and I knew he wasn't buying that rubbish about the gun. I always carried my gun on me. Always.

"Goodbye Coulson." I said. Coulson is the second closest friend that I have, but I don't call anybody by their first name apart from Fury and Clint. At least I had gone from Agent Coulson to just Coulson. That is a big leap in itself to me. I was glad he didn't press on with the matter about me outside Clint's room. I think he has a bet running with Fury and Stark about us anyway.

After Coulson was out of the way, I walked back to my room with a small slouch in my back before leaving to go to Asia.

Okay so this chapter was pretty short again and I hope that you liked it. I thought that I would use this ending, because lots of the ones I have read have been of them kissing or realising that they love each other or something like that, so I just wanted to mix it up a bit. The idea literally just came straight to me. Anyway next is BARTON IS COMPRIMISED, so I will make sure that it is the best chapter yet, because I do love that scene. There will be a big section about her analysing those three words.
