This chapter is about when Captain fights Loki and afterwards. Enjoy!

"I mean, if it's not too much trouble."

"No, no. It's fine."

"It's a vintage set. It took me a couple of years to collect them all." I was waiting for instructions at the bridge, whilst Coulson and Captain America were discussing trading cards. One of the most amusing and awkward things on Earth.

"Near mint," he continued. "Slight foxing around the edges, but..."

"We go a hit." an agent said. "Sixty seven percent match. Wait, cross match, seventy nine percent."

"Location?"

"Stuttgart, Germany. 28, Canning Strasse." Oh my god. Was Clint there? Shut up, get your head back in the game Widow.

I was assigned to be the pilot for Captain Rogers to get him to Loki in time.

When we arrived, we saw Loki ranting about people craving subjugation and more crap like that.

We dropped Captain America off a few blocks away. Some people were giving him weird looks and I didn't really blame them, but we had a job to do. I listened in on the comms to hear the situation. The Captain had just jumped in front of a man who was standing up to Loki.

"You know the last time I was in Germany and saw a man standing above everybody else, we ended up disagreeing."

"The soldier." Loki snarled. "The man out of time."

"I'm not the one who's out of time." Steve said as I lined up with Loki and prepared my machine gun ready to fire if necessary.

"Loki, drop the weapon and stand down." I ordered and then I drove the ship out of the way to miss being hit by a ball of energy.

At that moment, a fight between Loki and the Captain commenced. Rogers was flying everywhere. He got hit with Loki's sceptre and ended up being forced towards the ground.

"Kneel" Loki commanded.

"Not today." Cap said promptly kicked the demi-god in the face.

"He's all over the place." I said.

Steve got thrown across the pavement by Loki and suddenly I heard very faint music followed by a voice that I know too well. "Agent Romanoff, did you miss me?" Then 'Shoot to thrill' came over the sound systems and burst throughout the ship.

I let out a sigh. Stark really does know how to make entrance.

Stark just flies in and shoots Loki right off his feet. "Make your move, Reindeer games." he said threatening Loki with guns that were aiming at him. Then Loki changed his God-like appearance to something...well it was still God-like, but without the gold and the horns.

"Good move." Stark said.

Rogers came up to meet him and said "Mr. Stark"/

"Captain" he replied.

Oh dear I thought. This could get violent.

Once everybody was aboard the mini-carrier we were flying back to the base, Stark and Rogers were talking about something like palates and thunder was coming down from the sky.

"What's the matter? Scared of a little lightening?" Rogers asked Loki.

"I'm not overly fond of what follows." Loki said. Wait a minute, did that mean-

My thoughts were cut off by something slamming onto the roof.

Thor entered the mini-carrier and grabbed his brother, smashing Iron Man in the process. Hilarious! Then he just flew off.

"Now there's that guy." Stark said.

"Another Asgardian?" I asked.

"Think the guy's a friendly?" Rogers said.

"Doesn't matter" Stark replied. "If he frees Loki or kills him, the Tesseract's lost.

"Stark, we need a plan of attack."

"I have a plan. Attack."

Well, it's good to see they are getting along well.

"I'd sit this one out, Cap." I said.

"I don't see how I can." he said.

"These guys come from legends, they're basically Gods."

"There's only one God, ma'am. And I'm pretty sure he doesn't dress like that."

Rogers left and I thought Ma'am, he just called me ma'am. Such a gentleman! That almost made me laugh.

Imagine waking up to finding your life gone though. I know that he was working with Stark's father, but I don't think he will like this version of Stark. Hopefully, they will get along. I will probably need to work on that.

"Miss Romanoff?" my co-pilot said.

"Yes, sorry. What were you saying?" I said.

"Shouldn't we go and get them Miss?"

"Yes, of course." I said as I turned the mini-carrier. Right at that moment, there was a huge blue flash of light that bursted out across the forest. Even the ship shook slightly.

As I landed, I saw two demi-gods, Iron Man and a super soldier rounding the corner. This is happening, right?

To be honest, everything still felt like a dream.

Once we were back at base, we sat down at a huge table on the bridge. Fury came over and we started to discuss what we were going to do about Loki.

"Now we did capture Loki, but we couldn't get to Barton in time." he said. This caught my attention and I looked at Fury.

"Barton was there?" I asked trying not to let my emotions overpower me.

"Yes, he was a couple of streets away. Arrows were left in the guards, so we definitely know it was him. Hawkeye was stealing the iridium that Dr. Selvig needs." he said.

I could've gone to get him. I could've tried to bring him back.

I looked back at the table and tears were forming in my eyes.

"Clint Barton as in Hawkeye! The archer with the arrows? How the hell is he going to help us defeat a demi-god?" Stark said. And then I lost it and slammed my palms on the table. Do I have a hulk inside of me?

"At least he is better than you Stark. You have suits to do your work for you and do you have any actual combat skills? Barton is the worlds best marksman, so don't you dare doubt his abilities to help us for one single second." I shouted. I'm not really surprised that I did, because I hadn't slept for over 46 overs.

I looked around to find everybody staring at me.

Great, I thought, that must've helped the rumours.

"Excuse me, Director." I said in a hushed tone on the verge of breaking down on the inside, but on the outside I became Black Widow once again.

I evenly paced out of the room and found myself in the vents going to Bartons room.

Once I had laid down on the bed in his room, I took in his scent on the pillow.

Damn it, I missed him so much and it had been less than a week.

"What is wrong with you?" I asked myself as I began to sob tears into the pillow.

Once I had cried continuously for about 10 minutes, I straightened up, put some makeup, that I left in Barton's room, onto my face to cover the red blotches under my eyes and walked out the door.

Standing there were Stark, Rogers, Banner and Thor.

"Coulson said you might be here." Rogers said.

"Crying over your boyfriend Hawk?" Stark said, which made me want to punch him in the face.

"Barton is not my boyfriend and I was not crying." I said sternly.

"Natasha, we all heard you." Banner said sympathetically.

I looked over at Banner and decided to tell him the truth. "It has never happened before."

"We know! You don't have your Black Widow name and reputation for nothing." Stark said.

I then realised that they could hold this against me and use it for black mail.

"If ANY of you tell ANYONE about this," I said, bringing up a knife in each hand and twirling them between my fingers, "I will kill you."

"Understood ma'am"

"Of c-course."

"I give you my word Lady Natasha."

We all looked expectantly at Tony.

"Fine, whatever" he said, we went back to the bridge and we didn't take the matter any further.

Where are you Clint?

So this is my seventh chapter to this story. I'm not really a big fan of this one, though I don't really know why? The next chapter will be about Natasha interrogating Loki. Exciting!
