Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been writing Vampire Knight in a while. I was having some writers block with my other stories. I hope you guys like this chapter. I do not own Vampire Knight.

Chapter 44

We are now in front of the Hunter Association doors. Kaien opens the door for us while pulling the chains on our wrist. I look over at Yuuki to see her eyes are completely blank that holds no emotions at all. I couldn't even find out if she is still here or not. I reach up to touch her but she moves forward avoiding my touch. I stop at the doors and so does Yuuki.

"What's wrong? There's nothing to be afraid of, so come along." Kaien says in front of us. Yuuki didn't say anything so I spoke instead.

"We don't have a containment seal, so we can't enter..." I replied. Kaien looks at us for a few moments before turning around.

"Don't worry. Your handcuffs will keep you two safe." We hesitated to step forward but Yuuki walked forward not even glancing at me as I walked behind her. I can hear commotions and people whispering about me and Yuuki.

"Come on, this way." Kaien says to us. Yuuki didn't look up at him. When I looked up, I can see ahead of him is Zero and some other hunter. Zero looked like he was trying to push the other hunter away from him. I looked at Zero and he looked at me with no emotions in his eyes either. I looked at him to Yuuki and walked up to touch her shoulder. She pushed her hand from her shoulder walking even faster. My eyes were wide looking at her back when I can feel the sadness and the loneliness in my heart. I can even tell that Zero was surprise from Yuuki's action towards me. He might not show it on his face but his eyes widen a little was crystal clear to me. I walked passed him to walk behind Yuuki.

"Kiryuu-kun, where do you think you're going!?" Kaien shouts. Yuuki stops to look at Zero then look at me.

"I have to go on a hunt. It's urgent." Zero replies. I can feel his eyes on me and Yuuki's eyes. I looked at her eyes to see having no life at all, even though she sees me, she looks like she isn't aware of my presence.

'Did I do this to Onee-chan?' I thought feeling tears welling up in my eyes. I was the only one in the middle of cell while Yuuki was with Aidou.

"Whadda ya think about this little lady?" One guy says. I didn't look at him or pay attention to them.

"Hmm... In comparison to the other three purebloods I've seen she's kinda average for a vampire... which is actually pretty creepy."

"Well then, Kuran Victoria. You say you know nothing about Kuran Kaname's whereabouts nor his motives, are you sure?" Kaien ask in front of the desk.

"...I won't tell you anything." I replied.

"Given that you are the younger sister of the leader of all the purebloods acting as a fiancé, and that in the past, the Kurans were kings of the vampires. So what do you think are your brother's reasons for us conduct?" He ask.

"Please, don't interfere." I replied.

"Victoria... do you know about our agreement with Kaname-kun with the Kuran head?" Kaien ask.

"..." I was in silent for a minute before taking a deep breath and making my face expressionless as possible. "The vampires... would maintain a peaceful with humans, and ban hostile attacks as well as cooperate with the organization. Such is the model the representatives aimed for..." My eyes were in realization and thinking of an idea.

"Well, I suppose you do know... Kaname-kun made a promise with us, on the basis of Kuran Blood. As his sister, you and Yuuki are also under the obligation to fulfill that promise since you both have the same Kuran blood..." Kaien says to me.

"Yes."

"As an agent of your leader, if you do not attain the support of the vampire aristocracy, it is likely that another pureblood will rise to power. I don't know about what happened before, but-"

"It's already spreading." I whispered, but they were all shocked to hear me. "All the other vampires are know that Onii-sama disappear. They are already acting on something evil."

"If you already know this then you we need to hurry up and take action." Kaien says. I didn't reply to him, all I did was just look at him.

"Okay then..." He cuts the silence. "For now, think about it Victoria. You may do as you like here, so-" When he was done finally talking I decided to walk over to Aidou's room. I walk to him and sit down on the ground. His eyes were fixed on me, sadness, anger, and confusion was all his eyes showed.

"Aidou-senpai. Senpai, It's okay for you to go home." Aidou didn't answer me but continued to look at me with the same emotions in his eyes. "The truth is, I would have been fine coming here on my own... but instead I made you and Onee-sama part of this. It's my responsibility now. I need to fix this... So... please just wait here for a bit. I have something to do in his place." Aidou looked at me but then looked down sighing.

"I bet you do." He says.

"And, they promised they'd follow him, so..." Aidou cut me off.

"Kaname-sama, put you in my care. So I'm not going away... Why did my father... accept me..." Aidou says depressed remembering his father's death. I looked at him with sad eyes. I stand up and put my arms around his head. "...What are you doing?"

"Nothing" I replied. 'This is my fault so I need to fix this.' I let go of Aidou and looked at him. "I'm going to where Onee-chan is. There are few things I need to say to her." Aidou nodded his head and I walked through the halls to finally arrive at Yuuki's room. I knocked on the door twice. "Onee-chan, I'm coming in."

As soon as I walked in the room, I looked to see the blanket rip, the pillow and Yuuki in the corner of the room angry. Mimi tried her best to calm Yuuki down and Kaoru closed the door behind me.

"Nanny Mimi." Mimi looked at me confused. "I'll take care of it." She nodded her head and stand up allowing me to knell down to her level, putting my arms around her. "I'm sorry. I know you feel betrayed about what Onii-sama did, but in time their will be day when these feelings of yours will be replaced with understand, and love for Onii-sama again." Yuuki looked at me with wide eyes.

"What? Victoria...?" She says hesitant like she finally knows I am here. She touches my cheek as fresh new tears comes down her cheek. I hug her tighter, letting her cry on my chest as much as she wants.

"I know. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." Few minutes later, Yuuki cried herself to sleep like she did when we were little. 'I never expected for her to be this badly hurt. It wasn't like this at all in the manga.' I stand up for Karou to carry her to bed gently and putting a blanket on her. I put my hand on her hand soothing her. "I had no idea. It was this bad."

"Well, things change Victoria. You were right. Yuuki felt hurt the most because for once she thought that we all can be a family again. She dreamed of that, but Kaname-senpai ruin her dream." It was quiet for a while until I smelled blood.

"Victoria..." Kaoru says serious.

"I know." I replied standing. "Take care of Onee-chan. I'll check on what is going on." With that said I walked out of the room until they both could argue with me. When I walked I saw Zero's partner holding a small child. He looked at me full of hatred but ignored it.

"...I smell blood so..." I walked closer to the child. "Who's injured..."

"...That's jus how it is here someone's always injured." I looked to see the child's knees bleeding. "This kid just has three cuts on him. Better not get any closer." He says. I was close to the child but two men put their weapons to my neck. I ignored them as I looked at the child. I raised my head to the child's head. "...This poor child, has always been targeted like this, hasn't he..." As I put my hand on the child I saw his memories. My eyes sadden looking at the memories knowing what is going to happen next. "Shhh..." The child look at me surprised and so did the man holding the child. I had soft smile on my face. "You don't need to cry. We will find your mother alright? You need to rest."

The child nodded at me and closed his eyes only have little breaths. I put my hands to my side facing my back towards Kaito.

"You... absorbed his memories and the damage." He says. I nodded my head and looked at him with corner of my eye. I put my hand on my head.

"Where's Zero..." I asked him. Kaito face his back to me.

"If I told you I'd get half-killed. Sorry." The child woke up looking at me behind his shoulder. The child struggle from Kaito's grip finally getting down and running up to me holding my dress. I knelled down towards the child with a soft smile on my face.

"You need to go with that man." I pointed at Kaito. My hand rested on his head. "He will help you find your mom." He put his arms around me surprising me.

"I wish their were nice vampires like you, Onee-chan." The boy said letting me go. My eyes were wide as I stared at the boy running to Kaito. I stand up feeling my heart tighten from his words. I closed my eyes thinking of some things until finally coming up with an idea. I walked to the where the headmaster was. I open the door a little to see Yagari noticing me after hearing the headmaster complaining he is bad father.

"What? If you've got something to do here then come in already, stupid." Yagari says.

"Yagari-kun, I don't think you should be speaking to my daughter like that." The headmaster says angry.

"Um... I have an awkward question for you so..." I replied hesitant. "Well I'll just ask... chairman um..."

"Hm?" Kaien looks at me.

"I realize that it will be difficult, but you don't have any plans for restarting the night class...or something like that, do you?" It was quiet for a moment for Kaien to break the silence.

"Victoria... Certainly, that would be difficult..." Kaien replies.

"Ah! Well it's fine right now, I didn't come here for that..." I said shaking my hands in front of me. "Chairman..." My voice was serious this time "No, president... please give me permission to go outside."

"Why?" He ask.

"I know that I am pureblood, the youngest Kuran, and that my sister isn't doing so well. But since I am a Kuran, I have responsibilities and such so I must be a model for others so that my ways will be accepted. Therefore, please give me permission to go execute the vampires who ran from Zero. I still want Humans and Vampires to get along."

"Fine then, In that case, go ahead." Kaien replies.

"Oi..." Yagari shouts.

'Kaname, for now I'm going to have to do what is right. And once I do... I will find you and stop you.'

I'm very sorry for not updating in while so I'm trying my best to catch up right now. I've been very busy with school.
