Chapter 46
The night class finally coming back. I step into the corridor looking at many vampires today with Aidou and Yuuki behind me.
"Once again, I thank you all for coming here." I spoke up. "I think a great many of you might be confused since this your first time in the dormitories or classrooms, so if you have any problems... then please, count on me." I looked ahead of them. 'Okay, I know that this is part where Yuuki says...'
"Just think of us as the errand girls!" Yuuki shouted.
"That's wrong!" Aidou shouted. I can hear Mimi and Kaoru laughing. They are also going to be in the night class. Yuuki looked at him confused.
"...It's not wrong, right?" Yuuki asked.
"There's other things you can say like 'take me as a role model' or I'll lend an ear to your problems,' you stupid pureblood!" I looked to see Aidou in frustration. I sighed looking back at the other problems.
"Okay then..." I cough getting their attention. "We should get along, everyone." It was silent as I sweat-dropped. "...Or... then again, maybe not...?"
"Get along... is it? It's an honor, but..."
"We came because we heard that a pureblood was having trouble."
"My brother and I have different views. I cam because I thought it's wrong for the current situation to continue. I thought that all purebloods were fine letting dangerous vampires roam around attacking human, so I'm glad I came." I smile at them gently.
"...I want to talk to you each one by one next time. Thank you for coming. And... I hope a day will come here where we won't have to make such promises, but... I'm sure you all came here acknowledging the 'promise.' I'll confirm this once again." I looked at them serious. "Please don't touch any humans while in school. If a time comes when on of you breaks this promise, then I will be the one to deal with it." I look out of the door. "Before Hunter-san there outside the door must do it himself." It was quiet for a minute before I spoke again. "One last thing," I pointed to Kaoru and Mimi. "These two are Kaoru and Mimi, you have anything ask please talk these two. I'll busy most of the times so please talk to them and they will talk to me. Thank you."
Aidou open the door and I stepped with Yuuki besides me.
"...What is it?" Yuuki ask. Zero was leaning against the wall not saying anything.
"We know what you want to say... 'There's no point in this game of school.' After all, vampires are just beasts in human form. They can't be trusted. ...Our viewpoints won't match... always as before..." I heard footsteps to see Maria.
"I'm sorry I'm late." Maria spoke quietly.
"Maria-san?! Your here!" Yuuki spoke surprise. I walked towards Maria ignoring Zero.
"Yes, I hesitated over whether to come or not, but I'd like to make friends, so..." Zero walked past us without taking a glance at us. "...Is Ichiru-chan's brother working here as a perfect, like he was before?"
"It's nothing that simple..." Yuuki replied.
"It never is." I replied. "He's merely here as a hunter who can take us down at any time... For now he is just a stranger..." Maria and Yuuki looked at my lifeless eyes as I looked remember of Zero.
"Please stop making Zero guard the night class!" Yuuki screams at Kaien.
"I can't grant that request of yours, Yuuki... We're short-handed." Kaien replies. "Why do you object? Victoria doesn't seem to mind." Yuuki looks at me confused.
"Why don't object Victoria?" Yuuki ask. I look at her as I knell against the wall remembering the memory of what I seen from the child.
"Level E... the end..." I replied. "I am a pureblood, he's a hunter. Even if I help him, do you actually think I can save him?" 'I... only want your blood...' The words he spoke to me played in my head. "Plus, I'm worried that It''ll be too much for him to handle..." I walked in the night dorms to see Yori-chan.
"Sayori Wakaba." Zero speaks. "'Humans' still aren't allowed in here. Go back to your dorm before sunset."
"Zero-kun..." Sayori replies. "It doesn't make sense... Yuuki and Victoria's here too, right? We can't meet even though we're friends?"
"...We aren't at a point where we can allow them to have contact with humans students. We shouldn't be able to guarantee your safety..."
"He's right Yori..." I spoke up making them both surprise. Yori looks at me like she is ready to cry. Zero points his blood rose at me but I didn't glance at him. I only looked at only Yori.
"Victoria... Victoria..." She looks at me in disbelief. I had a soft smile on my face.
"Yeah, it's me Yori-chan..." I spoke softly. She took an hesitant step as I made an non-hesitate step back. Yori looks at me surprise.
"Why are you backing away from me? You got out of the dorms to meet me didn't you?! So then..."
"Yori-chan..." I spoke loud enough for her to snap out of it. My smile never did vanish. "I did miss you so much Yori-chan, but... I am a vampire, you are human. In time, we will face each other again. For now, you must be patient." Yori nodded her head. "I knew that Mr. Hunter is guarding here, so I wanted to see you."
"Mr. Hunter?" Yori-chan question. My smile vanish as I glance at Zero.
"Once the Night Class begin, you, Zero Kiryuu, is nothing but a stranger to me." I faced him my back giving Yori one last smile. "Good night Yori-chan."
"Good night Victoria. Tell Yuuki I said hello." I nodded my head as I walked back inside the dorm. Kaoru and Mimi were the two that close the door.
"Nothing but a stranger, huh?" Mimi spoke sadden.
"That's cold." Kaoru smirked but chuckled a little.
"It's the only way." I spoke clenching on my throat. "I need him to stay far away from as possible. He does have part of my heart... Just get even that close to him makes my hunger even worse." In front of me, Mimi handed me blood tablets.
"These will help you." She hands me a glass of water as I take the blood tablets for the very first time. It didn't taste that bad actually, it was alright for a first try. I walked to my room to fall back on the bed falling asleep.
"Good morning, Victoria-sama, Yuuki-sama."
"Good morning."
"Morning." Rima spoke up.
"Morning..." Shiki greets quietly. I looked at all the vampires for my expression to become emotionless.
"Good morning. Please look after us from today onward." Rima, Yuuki, Shiki, Maria, and Aidou-senpai was surprise to see the lack of emotion that appeared on my face. I didn't care though as I walked ahead of them. I felt Mimi tense from besides as she fell down on the floor in pain.
"Minami!" Kaoru shouted walking to Mimi's side. I looked at Aidou.
"Take everyone to the Night Class. Everyone please follow Aidou to the class. Yuuki, you stay with me." I walked over to the Mimi to see her clenching her chest. I put my hand on her chest to see an image of blood and a different pureblood vampire. 'Kaname...'
To unknown by all of them. Mimi accidentally showed an image to the bleeding vampire and Kaname who was relaxing on a chair.
3rd person
"The young twin... Kuran princess..." The bleeding vampire spoke. Kaname was shoked to see Victoria and Yuuki, but he was mostly shocked to see Victoria, a completely different Victoria. They noticed Victoria glaring at this. She sighed and did nothing but stand up.
"Hey Victoria! Why aren't you doing anything?!" Yuuki shouted at Victoria angry.
"Because... it is not Mimi who is getting hurt. Is it Mimi?" Victoria asked.
"Yes..." Mimi struggle to replied. "It another pureblood vampire getting hurt."
"What?" Yuuki looked at Mimi then Victoria confused. Victoria faced their back on them.
"When any pureblood gets injured or dies. Mimi and Kaoru will feel that pureblood vampire pain." Yuuki's eyes widen recalling something. Mimi stand up leaning against the Kaoru. Victoria was going to walk forward but was stop by Yuuki.
"Wait! You knew..." Kaoru, Mimi, and Victoria looked at Yuuki. "You knew, that Aidou-dono and Hanadagi was going to die that night, didn't you?" The bleeding vampire and Kaname's eyes slightly widen waiting for her answer. "Didn't you?!"
"Yes.." Victoria spoke surprising Yuuki, Kaname, and the bleeding vampire. "I guess... knowing his game... actually works..."
"Game?" Yuuki ask. Victoria didn't reply but just sighed.
"In time, you will understand Nee-chan. For now... you must also be patient and let the story continue."
"Story?" Yuuki was even more confused. She watched Kaoru and Mimi pass Yuuki to walk to Victoria side.
"I'm going to class. You may come until you are ready." With that said the portal showing them disappeared.
'Victoria...' Kaname thought. '...You knew this whole time?'
1st person
I walked into class to listen to all the question the vampires have. I hear the door open to see Yuuki come in the room with a smile on her face. I smile back at her as we walked in the hallway.
"I have to gather more comrades and do as much as I can to bring down the number of children in danger like the one met the other day. So, Aidou-senpai... Once I've done what I have to do, I'll go after that person." I remembered what I said to Aidou.
"It's very hard to mention this, but... You both are not meeting the level needed for my classes just yet..." The teacher spoke to us disappointed.
"We're sorry." We sighed seeing the teacher walk away.
"I'll have to tutor you two all over again..." I heard something from outside to see Zero and his partner. My expression was make to expressionless as I open the window.
"What happened? Was there trouble again?" Zero's partner spoke for him.
"...It's nothing." I clicked my tongue.
"Liar. I've overhead it already so..." I looked at Yuuki and she nodded her head. We looked at the other vampires. "Excuse me, could I have a moment?" The vampires turned to look at me. "In town, there seems to be a group of our kind stirring up trouble. Will those of you who want to stop it go together with me?"
"...Is that an order?"
",,,No..."
"..." It was quiet until...
"Then I'm going."
"Then... me too..."
"Me too..." Maria speaks.
"...I've know this all along, but..." Rima speaks up. "You don't have any 'charisma' do you?"
"Well, yeah..." I smiled softly at them.
'Sara-sama...' I hear Kaoru speak in my head.
'Oh yeah... One problem after the other...'
