HEYY. This chapter is a bit weird but it's mostly just Anna collecting her thoughts. I mean seriously, if you were in that situation you'd freak out. Unless you're unusually calm. Yeah...I hope you can hang on with me for a bit longer, the action is soon going to begin... =D Happy reading ^o^

Chapter 14
*Anna's POV*
When I open my eyes, water surrounds me in every direction. I'm going to drown if I don't get any air but…it seems as though I can breathe underwater. I blink my eyes to get them to adapt to the surroundings and when I look up I see the surface of the water.
I feel relieved. But not relieved, I can breathe underwater and it seems that I can see fine? Usually I have to use goggles and I can only hold my breath for 20 seconds. I swim towards the surface of the water and murky figures begin appearing.
The figures are actually...Tsuna and Gokudera! What are they doing there, right above the water? As I reach the top, I cannot push through the ripples of water. I bang my hands as hard as I can but it's no use. I throw my body at it but I just repel away.
Tsuna's face becomes grave and he looks away. Now that I notice it, they both look rather grim. As it dawns on me that it's me that they look so grim for, I scream but the screams become muffled echoes with the water.
But wait where's Yamamoto?
"I'll find the person who did this to Anna and Yamamoto, Juudaime!"
"...Hmm, yeah..."
I begin banging the rim of the water again to no avail. I can't speak or communicate to them. Yamamoto's hurt, and is probably in hospital like in my dream.
Tsuna and Gokudera are ushered out of the room by a nurse and a new group of people come in. To my surprise it's Enma and Julie. When the nurse leaves, everyone is silent until Enma speaks.
"I'm sorry Anna, for dragging you into this mess. I promise I'll come back for you after I defeat Tsuna. But for now, you'll have to be quiet."
"She's fine, she's not going to die."
"You didn't have to go so far, Julie."
"Well, it's not my fault anyway!~"
"You could've been more careful."
Enma's voice starts raising to a higher volume as he continues his conversation with Julie. Julie doesn't seem to be backing down either.
"Not my problem~"
"What if she's actually not going to wake up even after I give her the antidote!"
"She will don't worry, I watered down the poison."
"You used Death Hitter! She could already be dead right now! People who are injected with it are meant to die 30 minutes later after it's been administrated!"
"Don't worry, I added some things to it so you don't have to worry about Anna chan~"
"Don't talk as if you know Anna."
"But I do~"
"If she doesn't wake up when this rolls over, you won't be seeing the next sunrise."
"She'll be fine!~ Anyway wasn't this your plan Enma?"
"...Yes, you're...right. She needs to be asleep currently to put our plan into action... I'm really sorry Anna."
I'm sorry. HA! For what, for using me or for betraying me or both? They both turn to leave and I throw myself at the edge of the water with no success. I can't even trust Enma anymore. What has this world come to?
The world fades away and soon I'm trapped in eternal darkness. I feel my mind floating more and more out of my reach and I black out again.
*Hours later*
I wake up again and I am once again trapped in a never ending galaxy of water. I'm part conscious; I can't say I am since I haven't woken up in the 'real world' yet. But right now, I need to think.
Enma's betrayal hit me hard. He used me as a tool.
Enma was never one to stand out. He would blend into the background when he wasn't with his loud and outgoing friends. That's something that intrigued me into becoming his friend. When I first met him, we were small children going to school. He was shy, I was new. We became friends and I accepted him and his group who were usually excluded.
But the person underneath was not the one I expected. Did he lure me in order to use me as a puppet? Or just something to dispose of when he's finished using it? No Enma wouldn't be so heartless. I can't believe I still believe in him. I feel crazy by still believing there's good hidden in his heart somewhere.
Yamamoto's been hurt. He's probably in hospital with severe injuries.
I didn't warn him or tell him at lunch or during class. If I had given him a note or something to just tell him that something was off, would he be in the hospital? Yamamoto might be dying right now and what am I doing? That's right. I'm currently bathing in my guilt and not doing anything to get out of this hell hole. I should be trying to do something to help at least! I'm really useless aren't I?
Also I'm unconscious, but subconsciously conscious. The one to blame is Julie.
