A/N: Sorry sorry sorry for not updating! But I'm done school this Tuesday, so I should have more time, but I've also got stuff going on in the summer, but I'll try and update quicker, I promise! Thanks for being patient (some of you)
One person reviewed and asked what color Maci's hair is. It's blonde, like Austin's :) I don't remember if any other questions were asked, but if you have any or want your question answered, please PM me so I can see it!

Ally POV
"Trish, put that down!"
"But Ally, it looks so good."
"No, it looks like a fuzzy popsicle, now put it down. Or better yet, take it out back and burn it until all that's left is ashes," I said.
Trish put the flower bouquet on the table and looked at me. "I've never had to deal with a stressed bride, but now I know what it feels like. And I feel sorry for people that have had to do it."
I groaned. "I'm sorry, Trish, but you're right, I am stressed. The wedding is in two months and I don't even have a dress yet and the planning is taking too long!"
"That's why we're all here to help," Trish said, patting my shoulder.
"She's right, Ally," Quinn called from across the store. She was glancing at some other flower arrangements. She walked over. "We want to make this the best day of your life, but honey, don't put this all on yourself. I mean, I know it's your wedding and you want it to be perfect. What bride doesn't? But it's not good to be stressed to the point of breaking."
"I'm not stressed to the point of breaking," I defended.
"You're a smidge away from it," Leah spoke up from where she was entertaining Maci on the floor. "No offence."
I sighed. "Fine, I'll try and relax. But can we please just pick out these flowers so I can take Maci home?"
"That's what we're trying to do," Trish said. "Come look at more, the better selections are in the back of the store."
"I've got Maci here, Ally, just go," Leah smiled.
"Have you found anything you like yet, Miss Dawson?" The lady that was helping us, Linda, asked as she came around the corner of a shelf.
"Not really," I admitted. "I haven't checked the back yet, though, so we'll look there now."
Linda smiled. "Okay, great. I'll go get some more popular arrangements for you to look at. Excuse me for a minute." She turned on her really high heel and left.
"Come on," Quinn said.
"Bye mommy," Maci waved.
"Bye sweetie, I'll be right back," I told her before following Trish and Quinn to the back. I hadn't even picked up an arrangement before my cell rang.
It was Austin. "Hey, how's it going?"
"If you must know, she's ready to kill someone," Quinn said loudly so he could hear.
"Quinn, you're the closest to me," I warned.
"Wow," Austin said once I put my phone back to my ear. "Not going well, then?"
I sighed. "I'm just tired and ready to go home. I can't find anything I like and we've been here for an hour."
"Does it have to be today that you order flowers? We have over two months before the wedding; you can go look at other stores, or go back to that one you're in right now when you're not so angry."
"Now you're going to start?" I snapped. "That two months is going to pass very quickly, mister."
"Okay, okay, don't bite my head off," he said. "Calm down, Als. You'll find something you like."
"I better."
I could hear the smile in his voice. "You will. I've got to go, my break is done."
"Break? What break?"
"I'm rehearsing today…"
"You're what?" I hissed.
"I'm at the studio with Dez," Austin said. "Did I forget to tell you?"
"Yes, yes you did. So while I'm sitting here doing our wedding planning, you're rehearsing?"
"Als, that's my job. Besides, I don't really need to be there to pick out flowers. My taste in that stuff sucks."
"That's a lie and you know it."
"Ally, can we just talk when you get home? I really need to go."
"Go rehearse," I told him before I hung up.
"Trouble in paradise?" Quinn said, clicking her tongue.
"He's rehearsing right now," I told them. "Can you believe it?"
"He should be here. His taste is so good," Trish said.
"Right!" I said, throwing my hands up.
Linda returned with a few bouquets. "A lot of women decide out of these four, or a mixed arrangement from all the different kinds."
"Thank you," I said. "I know we've been a bit of a pain."
Trish coughed out, "you have," and I glared at her.
"Oh, nonsense," Linda said. "I've had tons of women come through here that are a thousand times worse. This is nothing; besides, it would be bad if you weren't at least a little frazzled. It's practically in the bride's job description," she finished with a laugh.
My friends and I smiled at her and when she left, Quinn picked up a bouquet of purple and white flowers, with a few yellow ones. "This one is nice. What do you think?"
"Yeah, it is," I said. "But I think I like this one better." I held up a bouquet of dark purple, light purple, and white peonies. "What do you guys think?"
"Oh, that one is nice!" Leah came around the corner carrying Maci, who had fallen asleep.
"I think I'm going to go with this one," I told them. "Everyone likes it?"
"Ally, it's your wedding," Trish said. "But yes, we all love it." Quinn and Leah nodded.
"Perfect. Almost an hour and a half later and we're done," I said. I went over to the desk with Linda and ordered the correct number of arrangements before taking Maci from Leah. "Alright, chickie, let's go home."
"You have got to be kidding me," I said as I skimmed over the note.
Hey Als,
Dez and I went out to the bar for a couple of drinks but I'll be back early tonight. Give Maci lots of kisses for me.
Love you!
- Austin
I had nothing against Austin going out for drinks with his friends. He was twenty-one and could do whatever the hell he wanted, but I had already made a big meal ahead of time and now I had no one else to eat it with.
"You see, honey, this is why I can't make surprise meals for your daddy," I said to Maci, who was sitting on the counter with my other arm wrapped around her to keep her steady. She had woken up on the way home. "Well, do you want to eat it with me?"
She nodded her head once before yawning. "Okay, let's eat quickly before you pass out in your food again."
I spooned out some food for Maci and set her in her high chair before fixing myself a plate. I didn't even get one spoonful in my mouth before I sighed and lowered my spoon. "Mace, I can see you in my peripheral vision. Take your hands out of your mashed potatoes."
I heard her giggling and I glanced over at her to see her smashing away. "Maci, use your spoon!" I said, taking her hands and wiping them on a towel. I handed her little Dora spoon to her. "Show mommy how you can use a spoon."
She slowly shoved it in the potatoes before taking it out, a little bit of potatoes on the end. She was still getting used to actually having to scoop the spoon to get a decent amount on it, but it was progress. "Good job! See? That's how you eat properly. You don't use your hands. Unless it's French fries or something, but that's different."
It was seven o'clock, which was Maci's bedtime, so we finished up our meal and I took her upstairs to give her a quick bath. She picked out her favourite pink fuzzy onesie and I brushed her hair before laying her down in her bed.
"Tomorrow it's daddy's turn to put you to bed since he's not here tonight," I said, smiling down at her. "Night, sweetie, I love you."
"Bye!" she said.
Five minutes after I put her to bed, our video baby monitor showed that she was out cold, so I went back into the kitchen to clean up the rest of dinner. The rest of my evening was spent looking through wedding catalogues in the living room, and at around eleven o'clock, Austin still wasn't home. He hadn't called either, so naturally, I started to get worried. "Damn it, Austin," I muttered, grabbing my phone. It rang four times before his voicemail came on. "Hey, it's me. Um, just wondering where you are, considering it's pretty late already. You better be safe."
I hung up and went upstairs since I was tired and Austin wasn't home, which I know, I should have been staying up to wait for him, but I didn't know how late he was going to be. Therefore, I showered, put on some shorts and a tank top, and crawled into bed.
I was just about asleep when I heard the door open downstairs. I rubbed my eyes and checked the digital clock on the bedside table. It was 11:34. About time, Austin. I groaned and closed my eyes again.
A few minutes later, the bedroom door opened and I heard Austin walk into the room. He was shuffling around, presumably changing into his sleep attire, which was always just sweatpants.
I felt the end of the bed sink as he kneeled on it and hovered over me. "Ally," he whispered.
"Seriously, Austin? It's almost midnight."
"I know, I'm sorry I'm so late," he said.
"You know you should have called me. I was worried sick."
"Hmm?" He hummed, leaning down to kiss my neck. "Where's Maci?"
"What do you mean, where's Maci? She's clearly asleep!"
"Oh, right."
I rolled over to look up at him. "Are you drunk?"
"No," he said. I begged to differ; he looked like ass.
"You definitely had more than a couple of drinks because your breath smells so bad of beer," I said, rolling onto my side. "I'm tired, I'm going to sleep."
"But Als-"
"Goodnight, Austin," I said firmly.
He sighed and rolled over to his side of the bed. My eyes started to burn with tears, and I brushed them away angrily.
He was so in for it the next morning.
