Ally POV

"Als. Hey, Ally. Ally?" I heard a whisper close to my ear. "Allyson!"

"Where?" I exclaimed, turning over and punching my fist in the air. It came in contact with something which, based on the grunt and swear word that followed, turned out to be Austin's stomach.

"Damn it, Ally, that hurt," he said.

I yawned and squinted my eyes up at him. "Sorry, you scared me."

"Well, you have to get up!"

"And why must I do that at-" I glanced at the clock on the bedside table. "Seven o'clock in the morning on a Saturday?"

"Because it's Christmas!" Austin exclaimed happily, jumping on the bed. "Get up, get up, get up!"

I laughed despite myself at his behaviour. "I'm sorry, how old are you again?"

"Twenty one."

"More like a five year old in a twenty two year old guy's body," I told him.

He flopped down on top of me. "You love me anyway."

"Of course," I smiled, accepting his deep kiss. "Mmm," I moaned into it. His effect on me was so…annoying.

"Oh, yeah," he grinned after he pulled away. "Quick Christmas sex before we get the kid?"

"Are you kidding? I'd be done in ten seconds; I'm already tired as it is," I giggled, smacking him so he'd get off of me.

"I could put you in like five different positions in ten seconds."

"Oh my god, Austin," I burst into laughter. "Later, alright?"

"Okay!" He said, getting off the bed. "Come on, I want to get Maci so we can go open PRESENTS!"

"Alright, go get her, then," I said, shaking my head as he ran off. I put on my slippers and Victoria's Secret housecoat, and he walked back into the room with her a few seconds later.

"Hey, baby," I smiled, stroking her head.

"Mommy," she yawned, putting her head on Austin's shoulder. "Daddy."

"I swear she was awake when I went into her room," Austin said. "Like wide awake." He kissed Maci's head. "Come on, kid, let's go rip the crap out of wrapping paper."

I rolled my eyes as the two of them led the way down the stairs. Pancakes greeted us at the bottom of the stairs, where she had on a set of reindeer antlers. I laughed and bent to give her an ear scratch. "Where'd those come from, Pancakes?"

"I may or may not have come down here at like, four in the morning to put those on her," Austin said.

"Of course you did," I sighed.

There were a lot of presents under the tree from our friends and family members, and Maci had a few more from Santa. Austin set her down on the ground, and she crawled over to the tree, grabbing a present. "Cake!"

"No, sweetie, that's not for Pancakes," Austin said, taking it from her. "That's for mommy." He handed it to me before bending to grab another small bag from under the tree. "This is for Pancakes. Here, give her one."

Maci took a bone from Austin's hand and threw it in front of Pancakes, who happily started munching on it, her reindeer antlers bobbing as she chewed. She was perfectly content in her own little bubble of bone.

I opened the present Austin had handed me. It was a new dish set from my mom and dad. "Jesus, this looks like it cost a fortune," I gasped, holding the box up.

"Wow, that's fancy," he commented. "That's so fancy. You already know! The dishes are in the fast lane. From the store to our own house. That's so-"

I slapped a hand over his mouth to stop him from singing. Yes, he had a beautiful voice, but there was a limit. "We get it, Iggy Azalea."

He grinned and grabbed a box that had Maci's name on it. "Here, sweetie, this one is for you. It's from your Auntie Trish and Uncle Dez."

I watched as he sat on the floor with her in his lap and helped her open it. It was a stuffed Stitch half her size, along with $400.

I gasped. "Ugh, Trish!"

Austin laughed. "Ally, relax, it's Christmas. And it's Trish; what did you expect?"

"Maci is one year old, Austin."

"So we can put it away for her when she's older. I'm sure that was the idea," he replied, taking the money. "Look, Maci, it's Stitch, your favorite Disney guy!"

"Yes," she giggled happily. "Yes! Yes!" She grabbed the animal and showed it to me. "Mommy, Stitch."

"He's so big, baby," I smiled. "He's your new cuddle buddy."

Austin pointedly looked at our daughter. "And it's the only guy you're allowed to like because he's inanimate. Understood?" I looked at him with a raised eyebrow, and he said, "What? I'm not kidding."

Maci nodded, even though she didn't know what she was nodding to. Austin grinned. "Perfect."

"You realize at some point she's going to be a teenage girl, right? Teenage girls tend to like boys. Whether the father likes it or not."

"And at some point, that's not going to happen."

I scoffed. "Okay, back to presents."

I got clothes from Trish and Dez, a Michael Kors watch from Jesse and Quinn, and a book of songs from Leah and Jace that I could do covers from. I got some other things from all of them, like accessories and kitchen ware, but those were the main things. Austin's parents got me a new slow cooker, which I was dying to use.

"Awe, sick, a new guitar!" Austin exclaimed happily as he opened his present from Jesse and Quinn.

I grinned as he started strumming it lightly. It was a dark blue electric one. "Hey, look," I said, pointing to the edge of it. "It has your initials carved into it."

He followed my finger and his eyes widened. "What the- Okay, I could seriously kiss both of them. Yes, even Jesse. Do I have your permission?"

I stared at him. "Um…sure?"

"Perfect," he grinned. He also got some music stuff from Trish and Dez, new high tops from Leah and Jace, and some clothes from his parents. My parents got him a stereo for the den.

Maci got some stuffed animals, clothes, and a few toys from everyone. Austin and I got her a Barbie dollhouse that was twice her height. She loved it.

"Barbie!" she shrieked, grabbing one of the dolls that came with the house and sticking it in the toilet in the little bathroom.

Austin and I burst out laughing; she'd learn where the dolls were supposed to go eventually.

"Okay, so, my gift for you. Are you ready?" I asked Austin.

"I'm ready," he said, handing Maci another Barbie. She was so preoccupied, you could have dropped something in front of her and she wouldn't have noticed.

I grinned and handed him part of my gift. He looked at me questionably, but opened it. "Holy shit," he said. "Als, are you nuts?"

"Sometimes I like to think I am."

From the box, he pulled out a Calvin Klein watch, Calvin Klein cologne, tickets for a Thirty Seconds to Mars concert and the new iPhone.

"Thirty Seconds to Mars?" he exclaimed. "Calvin Klein? A new iPhone?" He threw his arm around me and planted a big kiss on my lips. "I love you, I love you, I love you!"

I giggled. "That's not all of it."

"Not all of it?" He asked.

"Nope. I'll be right back." I jumped up and ran out of the room and down into the basement, where I grabbed the rest of his present. Coming back, I handed him the box and he opened it. "Oh…my…shit. Oh my."

I burst out laughing at his face as he jumped up, holding up the frame. "I went MULTI-PLATINUM?"

I nodded happily with my hands over my mouth. "Your new album went multi-platinum, babe. Congratulations!"

"But…but, shouldn't I have already known about this?"

"I asked the producers to keep it a secret from you," I explained. "And Trish and Dez. I wanted it to be a surprise."

"Well, I'm surprised. This is…the highest I've ever gone was Gold. I can't even believe this." He shouted in happiness. "I went Multi-Platinum!" He came over and picked me up, spinning me around happily. I laughed at his reaction, and he set me down before kissing me again. "Als, I went Multi-Platinum!"

"So I've heard," I smiled.

He ran over to Maci. "Mace, Daddy went Multi-Platinum! That's over two million albums sold!"

"Daddy won!" she said, grabbing his leg.

"You bet daddy won, baby!" he smiled, kissing her head. He contained himself for a minute. "Okay, okay, now your present. Close your eyes."

"They're closed," I replied.

I heard him say, "Up you go, Maci, time to go show mommy her present." I felt him grab my shoulder and lead me somewhere. A little while later, I figured out we were outside because it had suddenly gotten colder.

"Jeez, it's freezing," I said.

Austin wrapped his arms around me from behind to cover my bare arms. He kissed my neck and I shivered, the heat from his soft lips going through me. "Better?"

"Uh huh."

"Open your hand," he instructed. I set my hand out, palm up, and he placed something in it. "Alright, open your eyes now."

I slowly opened them and gasped. "You didn't."

He grinned. "I did." He set Maci down from where she was on his back and hurried over to the driveway and stuck his arms out. "Behold, your brand new Range Rover!"

"You-You- got me- You got me a new- but- what?" I stuttered in shock, staring the shiny black vehicle down.

"Your car was starting to give you troubles, plus I know how much you've always wanted a Range Rover, so I figured this was the perfect opportunity!" He said, coming back over. "Do you like it?"

"Holy crap, you got me a Range Rover," I said. "That's a Range Rover in front of me. My Range Rover?"

"Your Range Rover." He paused. "Range Rover is starting to sound weird now."

"Austin, you're the best!" I screamed finally, jumping on him, throwing my legs and arms around him. He laughed and hugged me back. "This is the best present ever!"

"I'm glad you like it," he grinned.

"Like it? I'm in love!" I grabbed his face and kissed him passionately. "Thank you so much, I love you so much, oh my gosh."

"I love you, too," he grinned.

"How did you manage to keep this a secret?"

"I went to Dez's house and picked it up after you fell asleep last night," he replied. "Now go check it out!"

"Ugh, you're amazing," I told him, hugging him again. "Come on, Mace, let's go look at mommy's new vehicle," I said to her, picking her up and carrying her over to it.

This was officially the best Christmas ever.

Ally POV

"So, Austin," the doctor said as he walked into the examining room. It was two weeks after Austin had gone to the hospital to get his leg checked out, and a week after Christmas, and we were getting the results of his test today. The doctor gave a small smile. "You look a little nervous."

"Just a little," Austin squeaked from his spot on the bed. I grabbed his hand in support, and he linked his fingers through mine. "Can you really blame me?"

"Of course not," the doctor said. "And you are?" he added to me, not rudely, but professionally.

"Oh, um, I'm Ally, Austin's fiancée," I told him, shaking his hand with the one that wasn't entangled with Austin's.

"Nice to meet you," he said. "Shall we get on with the results?"

"That'd be nice," Austin said, letting out a breath.

"Well, there's nothing major to worry about, Austin, it's just a pulled muscle in your calf," the doctor said.

"Oh," Austin sighed with relief as I laughed happily, hugging his side. "Oh, thank god."

The doctor smiled. "I can see why you thought it could be worse with the chronic pain. It's just been getting worse because you waited so long to come see me."

"I didn't think it would be anything serious," Austin admitted.

"You never know. Now, with some ice and rest, it should be as good as new in a week or so."

"But my tour starts in two days," Austin said. "I have to dance. Quite vigorously. I've already cancelled it once, and I can't do it again. I won't."

"Austin, don't," I said.

"If you want that leg to get better, then dancing is off limits," the doctor said firmly. "I'm sorry."

Before Austin could argue any further, I cut in. "Thank you, doctor, for everything. I'll make sure Austin follows through with the care." I pulled my fiancé out of the room. "What are you doing?" I hissed at him. "You don't argue with a doctor!"

"Oh come on, Ally, what the hell am I supposed to do? I'm in a situation now!"

"You can cut the dancing from the first few shows of the tour, that's what you're going to do."

"Ally, the dancing is more than half of my entire show!" Austin exclaimed. "I can't sing the majority of my songs without some sort of movement involving my legs."

"What about that time you hurt your knee playing basketball and you were suspended from ropes for your performance? You can do that to take the pressure off of your leg," I told him.

"For almost every song? That won't work."

"Well, Austin, it's better than nothing. Either you do that, don't dance, or cancel the show. You don't have many options. You should just be happy it's not anything serious. I'm sorry, but I'm not letting you risk hurting yourself even more. You could tear something."

"I'm not going to tear shit," he said. "Can we just go home now? Maci will be waiting for us." We had left her with Austin's dad for the afternoon while we went to the hospital. Before I could reply, he walked away.

I watched him go for a moment. I could understand why he was so upset; performing was his life, and he hated disappointing his fans. What I didn't understand was why he was willing to risk further injury in order to do so. Sometimes, no matter how much you love your fans, you have to take care of your own health first.

A/N: Oh Austin, so stubborn...

Love you guys, hope you enjoyed this chapter! It was hard to write, I've been having massive writer's block lately. It sucks.
