New chapter :) The next two chapters aren't going to be very Clintasha-y, because Clint has gone on his mission, but I will include him later :) x
"Stark...how much did you hear?" I asked him.
I swear he turns up everywhere!
"Every. Single. Word." he said smiling.
I don't think he registered that I had brought my knife out and I was running towards him before he finished his last sentence.
"Pepper! Help!" Stark basically screamed as I pushed him against the wall, pressing my knife at his neck.
Pepper just ignored him and carried on eat the cereal that she had made.
"Stark, you are not telling anyone about what we just discussed. Understand?"
"You can't threaten me Roma-" he stopped talking when I pushed the knife further into his neck, not killing him, but enough pressure to cause a cut.
"Understand?" I asked again.
"Yep. Got it. Not telling anyone."
"Good." I said pulling back the knife, leaving Stark complaining to Pepper and rubbing his neck.
Pepper told him to get over it and eat breakfast.
I sat down and read the newspaper.
More news about whether the Avengers are a threat or not.
It's like everything else in the world has gone and all that remained were 6 people in tight clothing, or not so tight clothing in Banner's case.
Speaking of Banner, he came out of the lift and walked over to us as Maria and Steve came from the corridor of rooms.
"Good morning everyone." Steve greeted us.
"Morning." we all replied at the same time, which was a bit freaky.
"Look at this." Stark said typing on his phone and pulling up a video onto the kitchen table screen showing me and Pepper.
"You slept with Barton!" Pepper shouted on the tape.
"Do you want to say that any louder?"
I turned around slowly to Stark, pulling the knife I used only a couple of minutes ago, out of the waistband of my jeans.
"I didn't tell anyone! I showed them!" Stark said, as some form of defence.
I smiled and Banner said "It was nice knowing you Tony."
Tony was petrified of what I was going to do to him and couldn't move.
Pepper's intelligent words of "You'd better start running honey." pulled him out of his frightened trance.
Stark ran towards the lift and I shouted "JARVIS, lock all exits."
He complied and I smiled. Even JARVIS was against Tony this time.
I stalked over to him as he was banging the lift door and shouting "JARVIS, YOU TRAITOR!"
He turned around slowly to face me and my smile grew.
"So..." I started, twirling my knife in between my fingers whilst keeping in eye contact with him, "What am I going to do with you, eh?"
Two hours later
My revenge for Tony was simple.
Beat the shit out of him until he is knocked out. Tie him to the nearest pillar on the roof. Write 'ASSHOLE' on his forehead. Take photos. Post online. Done.
"Haha. I can't believe your doing this." Hill said.
"He deserves it." I replied.
I clicked the mouse, tagging Tony Stark in the photo.
I pressed post.
"And it's out there in the world." Pepper said smiling. I think she liked Tony looking like an idiot occasionally.
"I need to get ready for my mission. I'll see you guys soon." I said turning away from the screen and walking towards my room.
I wish Clint was here. We could've kicked Stark's butt together.
Clint. I hope he was alright. He would probably still be on the plane to Thailand.
I walked into the room and looked over at the bed. I just wanted to hold him. I just wanted to feel his skin against mine. I wanted him back home with me.
I sighed and went over to the wardrobe. I put my suit on, pulled out some battle clothes and put them in my bag, went over to the weapons wall and got the equipment I needed, and then zipped up the bag ready to go out to my mission.
I picked up my bag and walked to the door. I opened it and then glanced back at the room.
I can't wait to come back to him and see him. He said he will be a week or so. Hopefully sooner.
I strolled down the corridor and went into the living room where Steve and Hill seemed to be having a deep conversation going by the facial expression that they both had.
They turned around to stare at me as I passed them.
"Sorry." I said going into the kitchen, not wanting to invade their privacy.
Once I got there, I placed my bag down next to the table and sat in on of the seats.
I glanced at the clock. 10:45. And hour and fifteen minutes.
What was I meant to do with that amount of time?
I remember Banner saying something about new equipment. I could go and see him before my mission?
I jumped off my seat and went across to the door. I lifted my hand up to open the door, but then remembered that Steve and Maria were in there talking, so I didn't really want to interrupt them.
I opened the door slightly to check that they weren't there.
Fortunately, they weren't, so I went out and over to the lift.
I pressed the button to the lab floor and the lift began to descend.
The doors opened and I found Stark on one side of the room, with 'ASSHOLE' still written on his forehead, balancing and arrow in his hand, testing its mass and Banner on the other side looking at some guns.
Stark took a step back as I exited the lift and I said "Stark, you got off lightly, but your punishment is over."
He sighed and then turned back to his desk.
I walked over to him and asked "What are you doing? Something for Clint?"
Who else used arrows in the Avengers team. Or in the world for that matter.
"Yeah. Just trying out some new one's. Shooting 9 arrows at the same time, mind warping, acid sprays. Stuff like that."
"Nice." I commented and then went over to Banner.
"Hey Natasha." he said.
"Hi Bruce." I replied.
"So how are you?"
"Apart from Tony being a complete idiot, i'm fine."
"Oh yeah, how is it going with you and Clint?" he asked.
"Good. Yeah." I smiled thinking about this morning. "Really good."
"Brilliant. Well I have a few new weapons to try out. Wanna test them?" he asked.
I smiled and replied "Definitely."
He pulled up a gun that looked like the shape of a small boomerang.
"So, this may look a bit strange, but trust me...it's amazing. You attach it to the side of your body, it is imprinted to your skin code at the moment."
I was about to ask where he got the skin code from, but I remember that Tony said he hacked our files.
"When you need to use it, you press a button, detaching it immediately from your skin and then you can begin to fire. It has your fingerprint, so only you can use it. Also, I thought I would add Barton's fingerprint just in case of emergencies."
"You are such a genius, Banner." I said picking up the mini gun and attaching it to my side. It stuck like a magnet and then I pressed the button on the side, allowing it to detach from my hip.
I put my finger over the trigger and aimed for an empty glass container next to Stark's head.
I fired and Stark screamed like a girl.
"That nearly killed me! What the hell was that for?" I heard him ask from underneath one of the desks, where he was hiding.
"You shouldn't have read my file." I replied and he didn't argue.
I placed the gun back onto Bruce's desk.
"Fantastic." he said and talked me through some of the other weapons such as a hairpin that can release knock-out gases and a bracelet that can electrify my enemies when I put it around their wrists.
After talking to Banner for an hour about my new weapons, I went back upstairs to get my bag and go onto the roof.
I went into the kitchen and picked up my bag. On my way to the lift, I saw Steve knocking on Maria's door. I thought that I would give them the privacy that they needed and I went into the lift.
If Stark had been there, he would've recorded the whole thing, but i'm not a jackass like him.
I went onto the roof and there was a helicopter already waiting for me. S.H.I.E.L.D always is prepared.
I got into it and sat down preparing myself for the long journey. Man, I wish this was a mission with Clint.
Hope you liked it. Can't wait to write some more about this, but I will only do a couple more chapters :) Please review
