Maleficent and Aaracia, pregnant at the same time, proved to hold many similar characteristics. Strange cravings, tempers, and illogical hatreds.
They also learned to crochet together, something that caused fear in the hearts of many crocheters because seeing the future Queen and Maleficent of the Moors crocheting in the arts room and cackling manically and eating pickle, banana, ham, and cheese sandwiches was simply terrifying.
Aaracia was fast, efficient, and made perfect stiches while Maleficent was more creative and her creations normally had a theme. For example, the wall hanging, made by Maleficent, and ordered to be hung on the wall by Aaracia, displayed the battle between Maleficent and King Henry.
Aaracia also delighted in meeting the more fearsome looking creatures of the Moor, particularly the underground wyrms that had assisted in defending the Moors from Henry.
She also came to curse at Kind Henry more frequently the more she learned about him than that he was King before Stefan. Aurora was shocked to learn her daughter could curse, Philip simply blinked a few times and just accepted it.
Aaracia was a whole new queen with a backbone who cursed and crocheted with Maleficent of the Moors, her own mother-in-law. Plus he had lived in the middle of this all since he decided to gallop through that forest one day.
There were three terrifying moments that year, according to the Kingdom and the Moors collectively.
First was Dante's birth, she was a terror for her first three months of life. Maleficent was quite proud of her little daughter, a mini image of herself with curling horns and dark wings. The red, red mouth and dark hair coupled with the vicious cheekbones just screamed Maleficent.
Dante was also a demanding little angelic demon baby girl with mood swings and angry baby glares. And colic. Everyone was glad to find it was just a phase.
A terrifying phase.
After that was Aaracia's turn giving birth. Aaracia shamed every soldier, sailor, and bad spirited, foul mouthed person in the next three kingdoms over. She tore through eleven midwifes and screamed nastiness at Kieran while in labor.
Not a soul was surprised when she announce shortly afterwards that Bryce was to be their only child. In fact, Kieran seemed glad. The kingdom was glad, Aaracia was a wonderful noble, but an awful pregnant woman.
A really awful pregnant woman.
Like really bad, nasty, crunch on the frozen misery of the soul monster with a baby bulge. Who reverted to the Aaracia they all knew and loved shortly after Dante stopped being a angelic demon child.
Or at least that's everyone's recollection, they just remember a couple months of pure terror and a very stressed royal family.
That did not prepared them for the third terrifying event.
It was something quite the new idea to the Kingdom.
Lord Raz proposed to Sebastian and Sebastian avoided him for the next month. Than it was awkward dancing around one another until Raz became irritated and went back to the Southern Isles to be with his family. Because they, unlike someone, weren't ignoring him, he remind Sebastian by yelling at the woods for a few hours in an angry rant about being afraid of feeling and it wasn't unnatural and he was never coming back. This was followed by an apology attempted by Raz to Sebastian and resulted in Diaval, as the third party, being sent to lead Raz out of the Moors because Sebastian 'couldn't sleep with that idiot wandering around lost in the night'. Raz was fairly certain Diaval had paraphrased a very long run on sentence that was fairly nasty. Diaval was pretty quiet because he never thought he'd have to lead Sebastian's pretty much boyfriend out of the Moors in the middle of the night.
Next was the letter writing, surprisingly Sebastian sent the first letter.
Unsurprisingly, Raz responded immediately.
Then began the long series of correspondence coupled with one very melodramatic Sebastian who enjoyed standing around and sighing.
Than Dante occurred, she after all had grown up in the middle of Sebastian and Raz's very confusing spat, love relationship via letters and asked Sebastian why he read the letters if they made him sad. At dinner.
Sebastian had blinked and said. "I don't know."
Dante, who turned out to look little Maleficent and act like Diaval, frowned. "You're in love."
Sebastian promptly choked and then spit his mouth full of berries across the clearing. "What?" He coughed out. "Dante… We're.. Guys though."
Dante stared at him quietly, "So?"
"Guys like girls, not other guys." He offered awkwardly.
She scoffed. "Dad, Mom, I want Raz to come visit. I'm two and I think I should finally meet him."
Raz loved Dante, he had heard about her in Sebastian's letters and he adored her bluntness and support in getting him and Sebastian together.
However, he did not appreciate it when Dante took a page from Philip's family's book on getting Maleficent and her descendants hooked up and chained their arms together while they watched what they thought was a magic trick.
It was a trick, she snapped the chains on and wouldn't take it off, just no magic involved.
This resulted in a screaming match later because Sebastian couldn't slip off when things got a little… Intense.
It also ended in the biggest wedding in the last couple years.
One, two guys getting married, shock value.
Two, finally. Sebraz has happened. The kingdom's women fangirled intensely.
And everyone was happy.
Oh, and the wedding planner finally got to plan a wedding with willing participants. She was happy too.
I just this story needed more of an end... Enjoy. Sebraz, the reason I can't do couple names.
