Over a series of two days, Rin's mannerisms had changed. He stopped screaming and flirting enough for Yukio to give him a bath, and actually purred as the cool cloth ran over his sore muscles. He had taken to sleeping all day, and asked for food, sudden respect for the others shown through the silent "please"s and "thank you"s. It worried Yukio greatly. Rin has about four days left of this, and it should be getting worse and worse with every hour. But it wasn't. As much as watching his brother scream and cry brought a sort of sick pleasure to his day (that he tried his best to ignore), he still cared, and didn't want his brother to suffer for so long. He was happy after Rin calmed down at first, then soon realized that something was wrong.

Someone must be sating his lust somehow. Many of the teachers suspected Shiemi, but he couldn't argue, it seemed like something she would do. Shiemi had a solid alibi though, she was helping her mother in her garden all day for the past few days, preparing for the seasonal changes. Then he checked with all of the other students roommates. Each student was either in the dorm with them, or out with them. So maybe it wasn't a student? Maybe a demon slipped past the barriers and went into Rin's room because they caught the scent?

Yukio sighed and entered the classroom, prepared to teach the class a new lesson, pertaining to his brother.

The girl appeared wherever Ryuji was. No one else saw her, nor did they mind her. She was in front of class, staring at him, in the locker rooms in the same stall. She even stood in the middle of the field during gym and watched him run. No one saw her, and he tried to pay her no mind. But while going to cram class though the door under a bridge to his dorm, she stood in front of it. She had on the school's uniform and batted her eyelashes at him. "who are you and why are you following me?" he challenged.

She smiled and disappeared as he blinked. Then he felt a strong grip, from delicate hands on his shoulders, her soft blue hair flowed across his neck as she nuzzled him. He wanted to pull away, she was strange and stalking him. He was sure that she was a demon, disappearing and reappearing without notice, following him without being seen. She had to be. He pushed her away and ran through the door into the classroom, hiding his panic with a stoic look.

Yukio came in close after and sighed. Everyone sat in their seats and listened closely.

"I'm sure you're all wondering what is happening to my brother?" They tried not to admit to their curiosity so easily, "Well, today we are going to learn about it. Does anyone know about the rules of a demon mating season?"

Ryuji decided to not answer, leaving everyone to believe that even he was naive to the fact.

"Well, as you've been told, Rin has been 'sent to his room', for this very reason. Now we don't know much about his condition, but it's quite severe, it's to the point where he can only remember himself and kin. This may become a regular thing, sometimes a span of a month between each, sometimes a year, it could even be a decade before his next one." Yukio took a book from his bag and showed it to the class, "This book, will help us to classify what he needs to have so that these will stop completely. Oddly enough, Rin is a female demon, so we have to use this book in order to classify. Your Demonic Baby and You, was written by a paladin from the 20th century. He is the only recorded paladin that studied demonic tendencies through observation and questioning." He gave a book to each student, "This is going to be a problem solving, group study. This will test your abilities to work with others and help us in diagnosing Rin." He then went on to write the symtoms on the chalk board and describe the intensity.

Ryuji did the predictable thing and worked with Konekomaru and Renzou, he gave sideways glances as the other two spoke. "Speaking of which, Bon, you've actually seen Rin right? How is he?"

The blonde-striped boy sighed, seeing no issue in telling his friends, "I already know what this is, Rin is a demon female somehow. I don't know a lot, but I do know why we aren't supposed to go see him. All he needs is intimate action, but this is his first season, so his pheromones are more powerful than usual. A simple kiss could satisfy him for a little bit, but the pheromones are so strong that most people who get too close might have stronger urges. They have him tied down and under lock-down so no one will get those urges and..."Ryuji blushed angrily, "possibly get him or anyone else pregnant."

"Do they know you've been going up there?"

"No, but I also seem to be immune. No doubt that they've caught on to something, that might be why they're going over it with us."

"Looking for Rin's visitor... Why would that be an issue as long as..." Konekomaru hid his shock in the book then looked back up when he calmed down. "Bon have you been.. w-with Rin?"

"no, I've just been feeding him, I mean really they're not even feeding him"

Shima shook his head, "Shame, shame Bon, not taking this wonderful opportunity to bond with the love of your life."

Ryuji blushed and growled, "I don't love Rin any more than I love you two. And with what you're insinuating, that's slowly decreasing. Besides, it's still considered a sin to love another man!"

Konekomaru looked away, "A-actually Bon, the sin is to disrespect a man as you do a woman. Though times have changed and the meaning of being a woman has changed. At this point, it's a sin to disrespect anyone of any gender. You're the on who pointed that out to the Myoda."

Ryuji paled and turned away, already working on his project for the class

Naru: Another chapter!

Bon+Rin: *disheartened* yaaaaaaay

Naru: Oh shush you two, we have a while until I get into the romance, I'm going to drag it out a bit then reel it in.

Bon: what are you even planning?

Naru: the next few chapters are continuing the deal you made, then a timeskip, then romance and the horizontal Charleston.

Rin:... I don't get it, whats the horizontal Charleston?

Bon: Read and Review
