Chapter 18

"The winner is Jake! But can he survive for five hours!" The announcer roared over the intercom. "Five hours!" I yelled in disbelief and anger as my skin started to become rougher and more scale patterned. Then more black robed figures came up waiting to charge me at a moments notice. "Fight!" I glared at them with bloodlust in my eyes as they became slit pupils and turned a vivid gold color. The longer I fought the more bloodlust I felt toward the black robed figures and I became more and more animal like as my teeth began to sharpen to fangs. I passed out due to overexertion. "Jake I'm sorry I put you through this… Jake wake up… Wake up!..." I slowly began opening my eyes as I flipped over puking. "You're tough for a human Jake." Idril said to me in a punk attitude. "I try to be someone has to show you up." I replied in a smug way as Idril waved me off. I slowly got up using a pole for support but Luna rushed to me and picked me up and put me on her back. "Jake are you ok?" I looked at her and smiled. "Yes I am." She started flexing her wings. "Hang on Jake!" I did as she told me and hung on with all my might and will. "Where are we going Luna?" I asked her and she flew fast to the hospital in ponyville. I had no clue what she was taking me there for but I was sure I'd find out fast as she dodged a low hanging branch that hit me I fell off hitting a tree very hard...

Luna's POV:

I looked back to see Jake was not on my back anymore so I looked high and low to find that his blood was all over a tree but that he was not there. I then saw a tail of his blood leading to the hospital so I followed it and found him passed out. "Jake!" I picked him up and flew to the hospital. The nurse saw Jake again and called the doctor "Jake's back better get all of the books you can about human anatomy." The doctor shook his head in a resentful way. "Here we go again." They carried Jake off of my back and put him in the operating room quickly as I waited in the waiting room. The doctor came back and said. "Jake is not to be trained for a couple of weeks but he will be fine as far as I know according to these books." I hugged the doctor with tears flowing from my eyes. "Thank you doctor." I went to Jake's room to see him still laying down there unconscious. "I'm sorry Jake." I softly kissed his cheek as I exited the room. 'I love you Jake but you do not yet know this' I thought to myself and pictured me and him getting married. 'Would it work a pony and a human?' I asked myself this question seeking no answer. I looked around to see that I subconsciously walked outside. My sister was summoning me to talk about my "love" for Jake. "Luna I have seen your developing emotions for Jake and I must warn you about the dangers of this. It is not possible that you can marry Jake because he will not live as long as you I am sorry to say this but I forbid you from seeing him again." My blood was seething with anger when she said this.

Jake's POV:

I slowly opened my eyes to see that I was in a hospital but why was I here. Then I remembered hitting the tree. "That's right I hit the tree." I said to myself as I realized that Luna was not here. "So I see you're up Jake. How do you feel?" The doctor questioned me. "Like a Jackhammer hit me." He looked at me with a cocked head. "It's what humans use to build roads." He just shook his head. I let out a soft laugh. "What's funny Jake?" I just laid my head down. "Nothing it's just that I haven't seen a doctor so perplexed." He put his hoof on my forehead checking my temperature. I seen princess Celestia walk in my room. "How is he doctor?" She asked the doctor. "He's fine but he can't train for a couple of weeks." I sat up looking with interest. "What do you mean and where is Luna?" The doctor looked at me. "You lost a lot of blood Jake we can't give you blood because you're human." I look at Celestia and asked where Luna was. "I'm sorry Jake but you are forbidden to see her." I roared in anger. "What!" I felt my blood boil with rage but I did something i have never done before. Smoke began to pour out every time I exhaled. "Whoa it doesn't say anything about this in the books." The doctor said baffled. "She has cared for me when I was down why can't I see her!" A lick of fire shot out of my mouth as I said the last part. "Because if you two get married you will die before she does." I looked at her with shock. "Wait what I never said anything about marriage." I laid back down in exhaustion as they walked out together. "Jake is special that much is clear and I feel sorry for him I think you should let them have a friendship but not marriage because it seems that not even he knew about it." Celestia looked back at me with concern. "Ok but I will keep an eye on them." I looked out of the window to see rainbow dash soar in the room. "Holy fuck!" I fell out of the bed hitting my head on the floor… I woke up in pain as I started to look around to see where I was but to my surprise I found myself in some sort of cave. "Oh my head. Why does this always happen to me?" I asked no one but myself. I walked out of the cave to see that I was in some sort of zoo. "What the hell is this!" I yelled out.

Meanwhile…

"Rainbow Dash! Why did you knock Jake out!?" Celestia demanded roughly. "I didn't know he would fall off the bed I'm sorry." She said in a soft whisper almost inaudible. "I'm sure he'll be fine Rainbow Dash. But in the meantime don't shock him like that again." The doctor said to her as she dipped her head low as a single tear fell from her muzzle. -rainbow dashes thoughts- 'I just wish that I can be alone with you forever Jake because you are the first that has laid me.' -end of thoughts- She flew off in regret as I laid there motionless. "I'll see what is wrong with Jake or at least try to." The doctor asked the nurse to get him a book to see how to begin treating me. "Princess Celestia I think we need to study how his human body works so that we can treat him more easily and faster." She agreed with the doctor's idea. "It says in the book that he may be in a comma I'm not sure what that is." I started to sweat in my unmoving body. "Oh that's new maybe we need a human doctor but out of all the humans here there is not a doctor among them." The doctor looked over me in concern for my health. "There is a way but I'm not sure what the human doctor would think of this place." Princess Celestia said with a rising worry coming into her voice.
