Rulers of the Night: Chapter Ten
That was a long wait...hope everyone had great holidays. :) Anyway...TIME FOR MORE MUSHY GUSHY LOVE STUFF! Hope you enjoy, my lovelies. ;)
Queen Chrysalis fed and fed on their delicious love. She had never fed off of such in-love ponies before. Cadence and Shining Armor were a close second; however these two ponies had the strongest love she had ever tasted.
She smiled wickedly at this thought.
Luna and Leans Flair stared into each other's eyes, though quite a distance away, their love illuminated the dirty, dark dungeon and it fed all the changelings in the room.
"Luna…" Leans Flair started saying.
"Leans Flair…" Luna replied back, love and peace in both of their eyes.
Suddenly though, Luna fell to the ground in agonizing pain. She grunted as she flopped to the ground in defeat.
Lean Flair gasped and reached out his hoof but was pulled back by the two changeling guards. He then started to feel quite light headed and fell to the ground himself. The guards let him fall to the ground. They started chuckling as they kicked and prodded at him.
Leans Flair was helpless, due to the lack of strength in his body. The changelings had consumed so much of his love for Princess Luna, that he couldn't even make out any words; let alone fight back against full strengthened changelings.
Princess Luna was collapsed on the ground, equally helpless to the queen of the changelings and the chains that bound her to the dungeon wall. She lifted her head and saw the changelings hurting her beloved. She was filled with anger, however she couldn't put actions to her thoughts, for her body was tired and weak and no matter how much this pained her, she just couldn't do anything about it.
She lay helpless on that cold, hard dungeon floor, wondering where she had gone wrong. If she just paid more attention to what was happening around her, she could have prevented all of this. She could have done something about it.
She started feeling guilty for what was happening to her true love.
Luna felt a pain in her heart. She then started to feel pure rage towards Chrysalis. She tricked her, hurt her love, and captured and impersonated her sister. She knew that love made her stronger so she decided to get angry.
Luna lifted herself, and thought more about her rage, than how Leans Flair was lying there, helpless. It was hard to do, however, being a princess made her have strong will power, and strength in general. She knew she could fight this form of torture that Chrysalis was putting on Leans Flair and herself.
Queen Chrysalis averted her eyes from the suffering stallion and back to Princess Luna, who she noticed was trying to fight Queen Chrysalis' power. Chrysalis would have none of that.
"Oh, stop fighting me! You are never going to win this fight. You don't get it yet; love does not defeat me, even if it is the strongest love in all of Equestria. It only makes my changelings and I stronger, you idiotic mare," Chrysalis spat at Princess Luna.
Luna was taken aback. She raised her head as high as she could.
"I will not be intimidated by you…you witch!" Luna spat right back.
Chrysalis sneered and then started smiling a wicked grin. She walked right up to Luna and put a hoof under the princess' chin.
"My dear Luna…I may be a witch, but you'll never see the light of day or darkness of your night again once I am finished with you," Chrysalis said quite confidently to the princess of the night.
Luna had had enough of this. She then blasted the most powerful magic out of her horn at the evil queen, making her fall to the ground in agony. Luna blasted her chains off and walked to the queen.
"Still think I can't defeat you?" Princess Luna asked, confidently.
"I...I can still win this…" Chrysalis said weakly.
"I doubt it," Luna spat. Luna then walked over to the two stallions and blasted them with a sharp blast of power that glowed like the shining moon and stars, with a tint of dark blue. It was one of the most powerful blasts that Leans Flair had ever seen and frankly, he was in awe.
"We must get rid of these…vermin and find my dear older sister," Princess Luna said to Leans Flair.
Leans Flair was in shock that even with bruises and her mane messed up, she still looked beautiful. He had a small love sick smile to his lips and Luna waved a hoof in front of his face.
"Leans Flair…umm…Leans Flair…did you hear what I said?" Luna asked, worried for her love. Leans Flair then snapped out of his trance and shook his head. He started blushing and was trying not to look directly into her enchanting eyes.
"Umm…get rid of the queen and her goons? Right?" Leans Flair asked.
Luna smiled and nodded and she pulled him to Chrysalis. She was so weak from the blast. She had a big hole in her stomach, and it wasn't a hole she was born with either.
"Give up; you will not win this battle! Now, where is my sister?" Princess Luna asked in her royal Canterlot voice.
Leans Flair was staring at the princess with a dreamy expression; he had never been more in love with her than that moment. Something about her taking charge was alluring to him.
"I'll never…tell you!" The queen of the changelings tried to say strongly, but of course it came out weak and pathetic.
Princess Luna used her magic to lift Chrysalis off the ground and threw her across the dungeon. Leans Flair came out of his trance when he heard the queen crying. He looked at Luna who looked like she had no regrets about what she was doing.
"Luna...you can't do this. I know she is evil and did things to hurt me and hid your sister but stooping to her level isn't what we should be-"Leans Flair was cut off by a cross look from Luna. He stopped talking as she turned to him and looked down at him.
"You think what I am doing is wrong? She has my sister somewhere and she was planning on killing me; and you think I shouldn't be doing this to her?" Princess Luna asked with rage lifting in her voice.
Leans Flair looked at her in surprise. He then frowned with disappointment written all over his face.
"I thought you had changed...but I guess I was wrong about you. You're still Nightmare Moon and you're not the mare I fell in love with!" Leans Flair yelled and then ran out of the dungeon, leaving Luna to think about what she had just done.
O.o The lovey dovey stuff is at a pause I guess. Well…until next time my lovelies. :D :D
