Hiding the breakables
Barbara stood in the centre of the flat as Daisy and Tim stood in front of her.
"Does Lucy know about this?"
"Yes." Daisy smiled.
"Lee?"
"Yes." Tim nodded. "Cmon Barbara can you help?"
"I'll do my best." She rocked back on her heels as Geoffrey took a China mug out of her hand.
"Just clean the flat and help Daisy get the place ready for Lucy to come home." He snapped before heading towards the kitchen. "The doctors won't discharge Lucy if the flat isn't up to scratch. I still think she should be moving back with her mother and I."
"Dad." Tim sighed. "We've been through this." Geoffrey huffed before heading into the kitchen.

"Well done." The physiotherapist smiled as Lucy stood on crutches. She tried to smile back but it was struggling to balance with the weight on her arms. "Try to stand a bit straighter."
"Ok."
"You are doing well, Lucy." Lee smiled as he watched her. Lucy raised an eyebrow. "You are."
"How long until I'll be walking normally?" Lucy turned back to the physio.
"Don't push yourself."
"How long?"
"All being well. Six to eight weeks maybe longer. Why?"
Lucy nodded before sitting back in her wheelchair. Lee frowned.
"Luce?"
"We were going to be married the day after the accident. Can we rebook it? The church?"
"Yeah." He smiled, glancing up at Wendy who had just returned. "Whenever you're ready."
"Seven weeks today." Lucy stated determined. "Seven weeks today I'll walk down the aisle with Dad."
"Are you sure?" Wendy frowned slightly. Lucy nodded.
"Lee?" He leant over, kissing her gently.
"I'll book it all. Don't worry. I'll carry you up that aisle if you want me to. I'd marry you right now if I could." Lucy smiled warmly before kissing him.
"I'd rather get married in church." She whispered. He hugged her, knowing for the first time since the accident that things would be ok.
