Alright, this is the last chapter… for this part of the story. I didn't want this one fic getting too long so I'm breaking it up into two different parts. So, keep an eye out for the next installment. Psst, the more reviews this gets, the faster the installment will be up.

Sam lay on the bed beside me, lazily running his fingers up and down my side. For the first time, we hadn't been interrupted all morning and it was an amazing feeling.

Right as he moved to kiss me, the house phone ringing drew us out of the moment that we had been basking in for the past hour or so. I groaned, but nevertheless leaned over and grabbed the phone off the hook.

"Hello?"

"Now last time this happened, you were involved." Dad's voice came through the phone. After a few minutes, I finally realized what was going on. Something happened with Edward and Bella, still hopelessly in love with him, jumped to go save him with Alice.

"If I hear from her, I'll call you." I promised before hanging up the phone. "Damn it, Bella." Sam, having heard the entire conversation, just sighed and kissed my cheek.

Over the next couple days, the redhead had been coming daringly close to Forks so Sam and the pack had been putting in all their efforts into getting her, so I had been spending time with dad so he wouldn't drive himself crazy like he did last time.

"Why does she do this, Katie?" He looked at me as we finished our dinner. "I just don't understand why she is willing to help him out after all he put her through."

As I opened my mouth to respond, we heard a car pull into the driveway. It's engine was too smooth to be Sam's old truck, so we were both at a loss for who it was, till we remembered who Bella had just run away to help.

"Bella!" Dad yelled as soon as he opened the door. Edward had gotten a lifeless Bella out of the car and was carrying her towards the house. "I can't believe you have the nerve to show your face here." Dad bellowed at him.

"Stop it, Dad," Bella groaned.

"What's wrong with her?" He demanded.

"She's just very tired, Charlie," Edward assured him quietly. "Please let her rest."

"Don't tell me what to do!" Charlie yelled. "Give her to me. Get your hands off her!"

Edward tried to pass Bella to him, but she clung onto him with such force that I had only seen a few days prior when she saw Alice for the first time in months.

"Cut it out, Dad," Bella said. "Be mad at me."

"You bet I will be," Dad promised. "Get inside."

"Kay. Let me down," She sighed. Right as Edward set her on her feet, she took one step and about face planted on the sidewalk. His arms shot out and caught her faster than humanly possible. Thankfully, dad was too pissed to even pay attention to that part.

"Just let me get her upstairs, then I'll leave." Edward promised.

"No." Bella cried. Dad sighed, but nodded, knowing that she would go so much easier if he took her up there. So, we followed him into the house as he carried Bella to her room. As soon as he laid her down on her bed and pried her hands from his shirt, Edward didn't try to stay or explain himself.

"I don't want you stepping foot through my door ever again, you hear me?" Dad grabbed Edward's arm and glared at him. It would be threatening if Edward wasn't a vampire and ten times stronger than Dad, but I think Edward knew well enough not to test him.

Edward nodded and walked back out to his car, without saying another word. Somehow, I knew that Edward would be back in the house within a few hours, but not through the door.

"Wait." I ran after him and met him at the car. "Are all of you back?" I spoke to him, quietly as not to let dad know what the topic of conversation was. He nodded. While I didn't verbally chew him out, I let my thoughts go to what happened to Bella once he left. I was somewhat satisfied when he winced at seeing zombie Bella.

Within a few minutes, I said my goodbyes and made my way back to La Push. I didn't even turn on the car radio, rather just lost myself in my thoughts.

The Cullens were back, all of them. I'm sure that Edward and Bella would be picking up their relationship right where it left off, which pissed me off. How could you take somebody back like that after all that they put you through? Since they were back, the possibility of the pack expanding was there. The total was already up to six, which was a whole lot in my opinion.

As the weeks passed, Bella remained on house arrest, only going to school and work. Dad informed me that he had given her an option of coming to my house but I knew that she wouldn't be coming for the mere fact that Edward was not allowed on the reservation.

However, she did repeatedly call Jacob, usually after nine o'clock. He had taken to spending all of his free time at my house until Bella started calling here to talk to him.

"He's not here at the moment." I told her, for the fifth time this week. Jake was sitting at the kitchen table, eating the dinner that Emily had actually let me cook. I found it amusing that I lived here yet she basically took over my kitchen anytime she was over.

"Well, if he shows up, can you ask him to call me?"

"I'll tell him." I hung up the phone before she said anything else. Sam looked up from his spot at the table and looked like he was resisting the urge to roll his eyes. I understood how he was feeling. Bella abandoned Jake as soon as Edward waltzed back into town. The next time that I saw her, I was planning on letting her know exactly how her actions were affecting him and calling down here wasn't helping.

"Hey…" Embry looked up at Jake, with a evil look in his eyes and a smirk on his face. "Do you still have that motorcycle that you and Bella built?"

Getting the motorcycle up to my old house wasn't too hard. Embry and Jake loaded the motorcycle in Jared's truck and waited for the opportune moment to strike. They called up to the house and when nobody answered, they went to drop off the motorcycle. And when Embry returned alone, I knew that Jake was up to no good.

When Jake returned, I learned that Sam had sent him up there with the intent to talk with Edward, not Bella. But he had gotten Bella in more trouble than she was already and she was more than aware of the fact that her being changed would violate the treaty, which would cause a war between the pack and the Cullens.

Hopefully, now we'd be able to move on and let the drama stay in the past. One look at my engagement ring put a smile on my face, knowing that my wedding was coming up and I would be bound in every single way to the love of my life.
