Drake returned to the worn down house once again. She had been repairing it for a while now and it was slowly getting better. Her father had bought the property but he was always away in his trips so he didn't see the once magnificent manor simply taking his daughter's word on it. Today she was fixing up the broken ballroom. She was laying some brick when she heard the door creak open.
"Ciel isn't it a bit early for you-" a gunshot rang through the air.
Ciel's eyes shot open as he heard the gunshot. "Drake?" He called grabbing the fun from under his pillow. She said she would return today, the midford family decided they wanted to met her for themselves instead of waiting. Carefully he opened the door and silently made his way down the hallway. "Ciel?" His aunts hushed whisper was heard he turned and saw them all holding blades. "Was that you?" Ciel shook his head and crept to the ballroom. "This way."
Sebastian stood in the doorway with his mouth pressed in a thin line. "Sebastian what are you doing? Who is in there?" Ciel held back from shouting.
"I was told not to interfere." Sebastian looked at Ciel, before anyone could say anything Drake ran out if the ballroom and down the hall.
"DRAKE!" A seething voice screamed from the room. A man quickly ran after her.
"What in the world is going on?!" Edward shouted at no in particular.
Ciel was shaking in rage, "why aren't you helping her?!"
"She told me not to young master and if you have forgotten that little problem with time?" he muttered to the seventeen year old.
Gunshots continued to rang out till there was a sudden silence, Ciel sent his family back upstairs as he and Sebastian went to investigate what had become of Drake and the intruder.
What they saw made Ciel furious and concern, "Drake!" he ran over to her.
Drake was leaning against a turned table bleeding from her leg, she waved at Ciel, "Morning my beloved Earl. DId you sleep well?"
"Drake you you idiot! Why did you not find a place to hide or get me and Sebastian to help?!" Ciel helped cover the bleeding wound. Ciel was the only one who could touch her and Drake could only touch Ciel. Without the other they would not be able to access where they wanted to be Drake's time or Ciel's.
"I could handle it! I'm fine it was just a grazed." She defended, "I am not a helpless fawn!"
Ciel picked her up and carried her to his room, ignoring everyone's questions and the prying eyes of the midford family. "You and your stupid trips why can't you just stay here?! Isn't being with me enough?" Ciel placed her on the bed carefully as he grabbed the medical kit.
Drake snatched the box, "No NO you aren't because your the only one here! I like people Ciel and I like adventure and traveling! I don't get that by sitting here! Doing nothing but rebuilding a broken home!"
Ciel reeled back furious, "So what I'm not good enough for you?! Is being with me Boring and so eventless that you have to run off with your father to find fun?! In Near Death experiences?!"
Drake stood up, "If you were actually here with me then I wouldn't feel the need to run off to make sure I'm sane?! Haven't you questioned what we were this whole time?! How impossible it is for us to know each other let alone fall in love with one another?!"
"You Think you're the only one thinking about our situation!? That i don't spend hours on the thought of where you are and the place I am are strange?! Or the fact that We shouldn't be together?!" Ciel was getting more and more upset.
"Well Maybe we shouldn't!" Was the last thing he heard before she flickered and was gone.
