Pippi stood outside the door, waiting for what seemed like an eternity for the doctor to finish.

After that dreadful battle with Yang, she had to drag her injured friends out through a secret entrance into Wonderland. She didn't have access to a phone or could use her ruined scroll, she couldn't go to a hospital, and she didn't know how to help her friends. Gubben's the team medic, and he had taken off back to the rendezvous point!

So, she had only one option, and it was a long shot. She knew of a Faunus sympathizer group nearby. They could help Tommy and Annika, and they could get her in touch with that White Fang operative. He could warn Roman that Yang was heading their way.

Though afterwords, Roman would not be happy with Pippi. Yang wanted to know about Blake, but Pippi didn't even know who 'Blake' is! She just saw the name come up on the White Fang's bounty call, found out Yang was looking for her, and thought it'd be perfect. Only...when Yang wanted answers from her, the only thing Pippi could think to tell her was about the rendezvous point.

Can something finally go right for once? Pippi thought as she paced.

The doctor at last came out through the double doors, looking beyond exhausted. His long thin rat tail kept twitching back and forth in annoyance, and his scent was that of a grouch. Clearly this guy hasn't gotten much sleep, and didn't bothered this early in the morning.

"Is everything okay doc?! What happened?! Are they gonna be alright?!" Pippi zoomed over to the doctor, practically pouncing on him. Also clearly, not caring about the warning signs.

The doc gave a small hiss, making Pippi scoot back and give him some space. He then regained his composure, addressing Pippi more formally.

"The two are very exhausted. Both have quite a nasty concussion, a few broken bones, and more then a dozen burns. Their auras haven't quite recovered, so it's going to take some time and some actually medicine. Though I'm confident they'll make a full recovery, given some time to rest."

Pippi let go a sigh of relief.

"Oh, by the way." The doctor handed Pippi a basic portable phone. Very old fashioned. "Got your guy on the line."

That sigh of relief crawled back into Pippi, making her chest feel heavy with doom and dread. This was not going to be fun to explain.

Though whatever happens, it won't be nearly as bad as Roman's wrath later.

"You shouldn't be walking around yet. Honestly, you need to be taken to a hospital." Yang yelled back at her pursuer. She was on her way to her bike when somebody decided to follow.

"I can't just stay here. They could find me again!" She shouted after Yang.

Weiss tried her best to keep up with the fleeing blonde, though she'd only been giving chase for a few seconds and already she felt out of breath. They were both coming up to the main entrance to Wonderland. The sun was up, people were walking the streets, and early morning workers were standing around wondering why the main gate was wise open. Some were just gawking at the high-tech bike parked in front of the place, clearly not knowing who it belonged to.

"Touch that and I'll break your hand!" Yang yelled at the gawkers as she approached the main gate. She ignored all the questions and stares from the workers, and instead heading straight to her bike, Bumblebee.

Weiss had surprisingly caught up. "Please," Weiss was called as she gasped for breath. "Wait!"

Yang was now on her motorbike and was starting it up. She had just snapped on her previously thrown away helmet, when she turned and looked at Weiss.

"Weiss, this is out of my league. You need to get to a hospital and talk to someone in power." Yang said before revving up the engine and taking off.

Seeing this, Weiss threw herself in front of the bike. Yang didn't have time to swerve out of the way, so she stopped just before the bike made contact with the crazy white nuisance.

"Are you insane? Do you just try to die or something!?" Yang screamed after her an abrupt stop. She got off her bike, took off her helmet and set it on the seat, and got in Weiss's face as she continued. "What part of, I can't help you, do you not understand?"

"Please." Weiss, unaffected by the blonde's obvious agression, she begged. "Yang I really need you."

Yang threw her arms up in frustration. "Did you ever consider I've got my own problems?"

"Please Yang. I remember thinking Torchwick was someone else. Someone I trusted. I can't..." Weiss started holding her head again. "I can't think too clearly. I don't remember things right, and I'm not sure who I can trust."

"I'm a stranger!"

"No. You saved me, you stopped him. You could've just walked away, but you didn't."

Weiss just now noticed Yang's hair was starting to glow, and she could hear the irritation clear in her voice.

"I saved you because you were someone in trouble, nothing more then that! I mean I'm not a complete bitch all the time ya know! And who the hell is 'him' by the way?! Are you just crazy or something?!"

Weiss flinched back at that last comment. Suddenly memories started becoming clear.

I hear she hasn't been the same since the incident. It's like she's lost her mind or something.

I can't believe she's our future.

Once her father is gone, Vale is going to be the laughing stock of the world. Who puts a crazy person in charge?

I'd bet you a hundred Lein she'll kill herself after her father's dead. Crazies tend to do that.

She sure is 'the finest of them all' all right. Finest piece of nuts I've ever seen.

Even with these memories becoming clear, they still didn't make sense. And the more Weiss tried to decipher them, her head would just start pulsing with pain and the memories became more fuzzy. Weiss also could've swore she was hearing whistling from somewhere far away too.

Meanwhile ,outside of Weiss's thoughts, Yang started going off on a rant. Her hair started to glow brightly, and her eyes had turned red. When Weiss came back from her thoughts, she was sure at any moment Yang would just detonate.

"I don't have time to play hero okay! My sister was taken from me, on my watch, and I don't know if she's alive or dead or what! All I know is, she's gone. And it was my job okay, Mom gave me one job! That stupid bitch made me promise to take care of Ruby. She told me she'd be back soon, and that I could just let my hair grow out to count the days. Only that stupid bitch gets herself killed, leaving us with uncle Qrow. Then he ends up dying at some bombing or something, and it's just me and my sister. I ended up doing all kinds of stupid stuff to hide from that pain and responsibility, from sleeping around, to partying, and getting drunk every night. Eventually I realized what I was doing, and I got my act together, and I started taking care of my sister. She's the only good thing I've got left in this world! She practically represents everything that's wonderful in my life, and she's gone cause I failed!"

Yang started gasping for breath. She still looked angry, but tears were streaming out her eyes. Though they only lasted a few seconds before evaporating away in steam.

A moment of silence then passed after Yang did catch her breath. The angry look slowly faded from Yang's face, along with all her other strange angry features, and was replaced by a look of realization and defeat. Weiss watched as Yang then slumped against her bike, slid to the ground, and started hugging her knees. She started mumbling, "It's never enough. I'm just not...strong enough. I failed again..." She then began sobbing uncontrollably.

A crowd of people gathered and had stopped to watch Yang's outburst. Not including the few Wonderland workers that had stuck around, the crowd was made of random pedestrians that were probably heading off to early morning jobs, and it only grew as Yang continued to cry. Some of them were whispering. Some in the back were even laughing.

Images were becoming clear again in Weiss's head. A voice began to echo as Weiss looked from the crowd to Yang. The voice eerily sounded like... hers.

'Mirror, tell me something. Tell me who's the loneliest, of all?'

Anger suddenly erupted from Weiss. The shy and broken overlay was forgot as she turned to face the crowd.

"HOW DARE YOU PEOPLE!?" Weiss roared into the crowd, gaining everyone's attention.

Weiss normally would've been timid, she would've stumbled through her words, she would've acted awkward and afraid. But not this time. Oh not this time.

"Have you never seen someone clearly having a rough time? Have you ever considered this girl's feelings as you point and laugh and gossip? You're all acting childish, and I won't stand for it. I mean what is wrong with you people?! Have you no decency?!" Weiss drew her sword. She started pointing it among the crowd, making some of them back up. "I dare you knaves! If you wish to point, laugh, and talk bad about my friend, then come forward! Say those things about me! Come and face me!"

Silence followed in the echo of Weiss's challenge. Slowly the crowd drifted apart; Weiss staring down any left overs. She could hear phases from some leaving conversations

"Man that lady's a bitch."

"Now that's a true friend."

"Probably a lez."

"You know, she looks familiar."

After the crowd was no more, and no one else was coming their way, Weiss sheathed her weapon. She walked over to Yang and sat down next to her. The two bruised and bandaged teenagers just sat there together. The only sounds were coming from Yang as she calmed down with sniffling and a slight hiccup.

After awhile, when Yang fully calmed herself, she finally spoke up. "Thanks..."

"No problem." Weiss said nonchalantly.

Another peaceful silence fell among the two, with Yang playing with her hair for comfort, while Weiss just kept watch in case of more dimwits.

Eventually Yang spoke again. "People think they know me before they've even met me. They just assume things based on stupid things I've done in the past, or they just stereotype me. I'm just some 'slut', or just some 'dumb party girl'. They don't even give me a chance..."

More memories became clear to Weiss. People assuming she was just some spoiled brat. Some crazy snob.

"You know," Weiss said as she stood up, offering her good hand to Yang. "We may have more in common then you'd think."

Yang hesitated for moment, looking up into Weiss's always cold looking light blue eyes, before taking Weiss's hand and being lifted up onto her feet. Once Yang was up though, Weiss kept a hold on Yang.

"...Um...You can let go now." Yang said awkwardly.

Weiss shook her head. A smile actually forming on her face.

"Yang. It is by thy oath, that I swear I will assist you in find your sister."

Yang's eyes widen with shock and confusion. "But, you...I..."

Yang just sighed, as a smile also began to form.

"Alright." Yang's grip tightening, becoming almost painful. "Then afterwords, I'll help you."
