The next day, it's the day of the final Grand Prix Series race, the Sugar Cube Village 500. Some of the racers are gathered in the hotel lobby, dressed in their racing firesuits and gathered up on couches or standing around, talking.

"So, who's gonna win this one?" Sticky asks as she zips up her firesuit.

"I know Jubes won the last race." Gloyd says, sitting next to Crumbelina and eating a candy corn-infused waffle without syrup.

Just then, Sugar Racing Today comes on, and the racers who were standing around are now sitting in chairs and facing the TV.

"Good morning, racers!" Charlie says, smiling. "It's the day of the Sugar Cube Village 500, and this is the final race of the Grand Prix Series!"

"Indeed it is, Charlie! All the fans have been getting geared up for this race, and everyone's excited! Today Cinndon Sodagard joins the fray, and boy, this race will heat up faster than wildfire, that's for sure!" Natalia says, smiling at Charlie. "So, without further ado, we go live to Kevin Fluggerbutter, who is live outside the Sugar Cube Village Raceway."

"Thank you, Natalia." Kevin says. "Yes, this is the very raceway where racing legend Reese Nougatson got his final race win when he raced in the SRGP series, and tonight, this will be the site of the Sugar Cube Village 500, where the racers will race for their final set of points. As you all know, the top three racers point-wise at the end of this race will start in the top three going into the Grand Prix. So, what do some of the fans have to say about the top three racers with the most points? Let's ask a few of them, shall we?" he says as he walks up to one of Clair's chocolate eclair fans. "What do you think of the leaderboard so far?"

"The leaderboard looks really good going into this race. I think Clair actually has a chance of winning this entire series if he gets lucky." the chocolate eclair fan says with a smile. "I have faith in him."

"I hear you." Kevin says as he walks up to a classic Pepsi bottle fan. "What do you think, miss?"

"Well, I think it looks pretty good!" She says with a big smile on her face. "Herschel's gonna dominate, I know it!"

"Wow, how exciting!" Kevin says as he smiles. "Well, there you have it! Most of these fans are happy about the leaderboard so far, but some fans are hoping their racer will actually have a chance to win the race. I will be here at Sugar Cube Village Raceway for the race itself, so please join me for the excitement! Back to you, Charlie and Natalia!"

"Thank you, Kevin! Sounds like one exciting time!" Charlie says, smiling. "And now, we go to our predictions, brought to us today by Menchie's Frozen Yogurt!" he says as three racers' profiles show up on the screen.

"Well, with three of the best racers as part of our prediction lineup, which one has a chance in this race?" Charlie asks Natalia.

"I pick Adorabeezle because of her chilly demeanor on the racetrack. She can A-La-Mode with the best of them!" Natalia says, excited as can be.

"Well, I pick Gloyd because of his stellar victory in last year's Grand Prix. He's got tricks up his sleeve that will stun you!" Charlie says, smiling.

"I can't wait to see how this race affects the point standings! Things could get a bit shaken up between now and the Grand Prix, the grandest race of them all!" Natalia says as she smiles a bigger smile.

"Indeed! Well, that's it for us! We'll see you again soon!" Charlie says. "For my co-anchor, Natalia Italian-Ice, I'd like to say good-bye for now, and good luck to all the racers in today's race!" he says as the camera cuts off.

Later that day, at the Sugar Cube Village Raceway, several racers were on pit road, whispering about Dylan's visit with Swizzle at the Sugar Rush Penitentiary.

"You think he was doing the right thing?" Minty says, climbing into her Veloci-Wrapper.

"I don't know. Him visiting Swizz in jail, that seems a bit shady..." Bubblina says, zipping up her Bubblicious-sponsored racing firesuit.

"I actually agree with you, sis. Should we at least try that, too?" Barry asks her, looking at her.

"It wouldn't hurt, Bubba. I mean, deep down, Swizzle's still our friend. And if we have to visit him, we have to learn to play nice." Bubblina says to her brother. "So, don't go weapon crazy when you see him."

"I'll try not to, sis. For now, we better get ready to race." Barry says, hopping into his kart.

Bubblina nods and hops into her kart, ready to race.

"And here we are, ladies and gentlemen, the final race in this Grand Prix Series before the grandest race of them all, the Grand Prix!" Brandon says as he gets excited.

"Indeed!" Brad says, smiling. "This race will help determine our winner in points. The top three racers with the highest point totals will start in the Grand Prix's top three. So, tonight, it's important that these racers race their hardest to get to the top spot."

"Exactly, Brad. Tonight could be the night things get shaken up." Brandon says with a smile. "But, I digress. The racers are more than determined to win this." That, I can promise you. "And with that, we go to our starting lineup, brought to us by GameStop! Our starting lineup for this race is determined by the results of a practice race done earlier this week."

"RACERS, START YOUR ENGINES!" Brandon shouts excitedly as the racers on pit road start their kart engines for this final series race. The marshmallow comes down and shows the green light, signaling the start of the race.
