Hello guys, and welcome back! Now, GO READ LAST CHAPTER AGAIN. I re-wrote part of the chapter, and it now includes the wedding. That makes this the epilogue. The final chapter of my story. Sadly, all good things must come to an end. Anyway, it was defiantly an amazing experience. So, as usual, any and all feedback is encouraged and appreciated, see you guys later!

See you guys later,

Gregor and the War of the Myriapods

Epilogue

Gregor overlooked the city, the people. No, his city, his people. The people he was sworn to protect with his very life. The soft flicker of the torchlight bathed the cavern in an unearthly golden warmth.

The soft flicker of a shadow alerted him to the presence of another. He did not bother to turn around, and smiled softly as his beloved queen walked up beside him, and gazed out over the city.

A light smile graced her face. "It is beautiful, is it not?"

He noticed the calmness flowing off of her voice. "Indeed it is. It is amazing, knowing that we are entrusted to rule over this place, and to protect the people."

"Truly so."

"This is an amazing place to live. Truly amazing." He claimed.

"Yes, yes it is."

A grim expression passed onto his face. "Whatever happened to Hayden? I saw and heard nothing of him after our battle."

Luxa's expression dropped as well. "We know not. Everybody was to focused on you, that nobody payed attention to him. It is believed that he was literally torn to shreds by the people, but there is nobody who can confirm that. His flier disappeared, and many think that Hayden was taken away by him. Even if he was, the doctors inform me that he was already dead, and if he wasn't, he would be soon. Do not fret, for he is no more."

Gregor's expression softened. "I guess you are right, but I cannot help but worry."

"Indeed. With it unknown, there is still a slight danger to us all." She said, worried.

"Do not worry. If he is truly alive, I will protect you." He responded, wrapping his arms around her waist.

"I love you."

"I love you too." He replied, and then rested a hand on her stomach. "Both of you."
