AN: WARNING: a little gore and abuse
CH 22: demon's grace
Soul stood beside Blackstar and Kid in the dark hallway of hells castle. It had been almost 2 weeks since Maka had been taken from Soul, he slowly started to become more and more aggressive. "You come when I call you." The prince said to the demons who both nodded. Soul turned away colors swirling around him; he closed his eyes and took a deep breath. "I'm coming for you little dove." He whispered.
When he opened his eyes again he blinked a few times at the blinding white walls. When he could see, he found himself in a hallway, he looked around and saw a large door. He walked over to it and looked it up and down. "damn." He muttered then shrugged and pushed it open. He stepped inside and his ruby eyes flitted around, he had entered the large white throne room, he walked till he was 7 ft from kami. Maka's eyes where wide and swimming with tears, a hand over her mouth.
"Why are you here, Eater?" Kami snarled. He looked at his beloved angel again then back at Kami. "I've come to ask you a question, Kami." He said in a serious voice. The queen glanced at Hiro who stood beside her. "Then ask." Soul bent onto one knee, looking up at the queen. "I've come to ask for your daughter's hand." He said looking at Maka who's hand held the necklace he had given her and a tear running down her cheek but a smile on her face.
Kami laughed coldly. "You think I'm just going to give her to you?" the prince's eyes snapped back to Kami." I would give up everything for her! My crown, my kingdom, my power. Everything!" he hissed. "I will not give you my only child! Besides she is going to wed Hiro." Soul glared at Hiro. "She's terrified of him!" he said. "nonsense." Kami said.
The white haired man stood, his red eyes flashing dangerously, his pupils thin slits. "I will take her by force Kami." He snarled. "Last chance." Kami stood. "Hiro, take Maka." The blonde angel nodded and grabbed Maka by the arm. She whimpered softly and looked at Soul. The demon growled. "I will massacre every fucking angel to bring my lover home!" he snarled. The queen looked at Hiro. "Take her!" Hiro pulled Maka out of the throne room.
"Blackstar, Kid." Soul snapped. Both demons appeared at the prince's side and Soul gave a razor toothed grin. "One more chance, give me Maka or do I need to take her by force, again?" he asked with a sneer. "GUARDS!" the queen yelled and angels filled in, drawing weapons. Soul sighed and his wings uncurled from his back, his dragon mask appearing, the long white tail thrashing behind him. He stretched out a white scaled arm and his scythe appeared.
One guard rushed at the demons and Soul swung his scythe, cutting the angel clean in two, crimson splattering the floor and walls. The hell prince burst into crazed mad laughter and looked at Blackstar and kid who both grinned and rush forward. Soul's tail thrashed, cutting open an angel's stomach, his scythe cutting thru armor and bone. "Keep these pigeons busy!" roared the prince, rushing out of the throne room and down the hallway.
"shit shit shit." He growled. How the hell was he gonna find Maka? He turned a corner and came face to face with an angel. "Fuck!" he yelled as he dodged a swipe from the angel. His tail curled around and impaled the angel thru the throat, the angel let out a gurgling choked gasp. Soul moved his tail and the angel thumped to the floor, he sighed then kept running. Every guard he met he brought down with the utmost ease.
He kept running and started to get frustrated. He leaned against a wall and pushed up his mask, pulling the angelwing necklace out and looking at it. "Where are you little dove?" he whispered then blinked and looked at the gem, orange, pain. Soul broke in to a run. "Maka!" he yelled. He looked at the gem again, it was streaked with gold, hope, she had herd him.
He ran faster and turned a corner, skidding to a stop at the sight before him. Maka was on the ground, her cheek red and tears running down her face. Hiro had her by the hair. "Get up whore!" Hiro yelled, yanking her hair. A girl with pink hair stood a ways away, her mouth bleeding like she'd been punched.
A deep, menacing, bloodthirsty snarl ripped from Soul's throat. Hiro looked around and his eyes got huge, he took a step back, letting go of Maka. The pink haired girl rushed to Maka quickly and helped her up.
Soul rushed at Hiro swinging the back of the scythe, opposite the blade, at Hiro's chest, slamming the angel in to the wall. The angel staggered to his feet and drew the holy sword and swung at the demon, who dodged easily and knocked Hiro's feet out from under him with the staff of his scythe, laughing madly. Hiro got to his feet and slashed at him again but Soul blocked it and his blood covered tail curled around and slashed Hiros leg, he then turned quickly and round house kicked him, making him slam into the wall again.
The blonde angel groaned and slumped to the floor. Soul put his foot on Hiro's face. "You damn bestard." He snarled. "How dare you hurt my angel!" he roared, kicking Hiro in the face. "How dare you treat her like that!" He slammed his knee in his face, making the angel cough up blood.
The demon grinned madly. "I should rip your fucking head off." He sneered and put a foot on Hiro's shoulder and grabbed a fist full of blonde hair with a white scaled hand. Hiro gave a pitiful whimper.
Soul grinned and pulled hard, making Hiro let out a yowl of pain. The prince's grin got wider, his eyes had an insane look to them, his pupils thin and his tail thrashing. He kept pulling and hiro's screams of pain grew in volume.
Maka ran to Soul and grabbed the arm the held Hiro. "Soul stop!" she yelled. "I just want to go home!" she said. He looked at her and let go of Hiro, wrapping his arms around his beloved angel, holding her close. After a moment he let go of her and kicked Hiro in the face for good measure then wrapped an arm around her again. "We have to bring crona. "Maka said softly. He nodded. Maka held her arm out for the pink haired girl, who smiled and took it as colors swirled around them.
