Didn't I say this was a comedy? Well the funny parts are coming back with a character we've all been dying to see… BEHOLD MY FAVORITE CHARACTER IN DEATH NOTE AS WELL AS THE PLOT AND RISING ACTION! BEGIN! And Sorry for the disappearing act, comp was taken up forever.

Kidd vanished… no… Kidd had a Death Note? I am so lost… And how did I get into the narrator's seat? Real quick, I'm Light. All I ever wanted was to rid the world of evil and sin using the power of a Shinigami. And now, out of a mixture of curiosity and suspicion I am on the school's roof surrounded by a series of crazy kids, two of them dead, and now a new person has shown up, so obviously not a student.

"I believe I can explain," said the mystery man.

Really? How can someone who was not here know what's been happening? Sure he has two Shinigami with him but- this man… his eyes never left me, not since he appeared.

"Who are you," Carmella the Tiger asked.

"For now you might call me Ryuzaki," he grinned, "No, you have the eyes so I suppose there's no point in using a fake name."

He smiled again, "I'm L. I came across a note book when my Shinigami, Hurt and Harm, asked me to help them find Hurt's notebook. As you've probably figured out, this is Harm's."

He held up a notebook, "You can touch it, but first which one of you is Kira? My first guess would be you."

He pointed to me, what!? That fast!? This really is L! No is my chance to kill him!

"Don't think you can kill me Light Yagami, I know your name but you still don't know mine."

"THAT'S WHERE I COME IN," A blonde girl jumped onto my back from no where. What is this!? Who are all of these people!?

"I'm Misa Amane, here," she shoved her Death Note in my face, "And that's Rem! We're here to help you! To sum things up I have the eyes and I want to be your girlfriend! Yay!"

She tried to smooch me and I quickly shoved her off, "L what are you doing here exposing yourself?"

He raised the notebook and simply said, "I am on the side of justice."

Well that made me smile, "Welcome to team Kira. We'll make your submission official later."

"I never said I was pro Kira, Light. I am on the side of Justice. Today's fight isn't with you but with Fate."

Figures. Well that would have been too easy I guess.

"Hurt, Harm," said Anguish, "Who is this man? Why did you bring him here?"

The tallest one cracked his crooked neck, "My notebook was taken, so we found the best detective on the planet to help us find it. Strange, he didn't seem surprised by us at all."

The other blue one with feathers over his right eye said, "We want to get Hurt's notebook back, that's all. Stopping Fate from a World War will come second to that."

"Fate has been planning this for a long time. He wants to be king of the shinigami world and destroy the humans. He sees them as weak and the Shinigami world is dying. He's come to try and rule them both. Alone he is powerless against the king but with the help of a Masaya he can harness the power of The Door. Some call it the doorway to the stars but humans refer to it as heaven. In other words, he'll take the power of such a god to overthrow this reality and create it as his own," finished L.

I stared at them, the five new crazy people. This is L, he has two Shinigami. This is Misa, she has one Shinigami. I looked over to the other girl, Carmella, also with one Shinigami. The two girls present have the eyes. L wants to kill a Shinigami. All of us are on the side of justice, but who's justice is true?

"Sounds good to me! Coin and I will call you L for leader," cheered the tiger.

"WAIT YOU'RE JUST GOING TO GO ALONG WITH THIS," I called out.

"Of course, I'm a godfather, so taking chances on weird looking strangers is easy for me. Besides if he fucks up I'll cut him up."

Kidd, what kind of crowd are you running with!? Wait a minute- God of the Shinigami world? If I can do that then I can kill two birds with one stone. I can become God of all the worlds and change them all into my image!

"Okay, L, let's work together to stop Fate. But he took Kidd to the Shinigami world, how do we get there? Are we going to ride on the backs of our Shinigami?"

I liked the idea of willing Ryuk into submission, not to mention I'll be able to fly with the wings of a Shinigami, a personal dream of mine.

"No, our way of passing through the gate is much simpler, we're all just going to have to die," L said.

He said it so calmly? Did he know what he just said.

"In doing so we'll be able to find Fate and stop him. Likewise I will take down Kira as well as the followers standing here now. This is my final case as detective L."

How was he so calm!? I can't die like this? I have to save this world from crime and sin and garbage? But… it looks like dying will get me to the Shinigami world. So that means I'll be able to get to the door and become the superior God anyway. Would living as a human be worth giving it up?

"Very well, how shall we do it," I asked.

L lifted up his death note, "We write our own names down, die peacefully, and regroup on the other side.

"Sounds fine with me, what do you think Coin," Asked Carmella.

"That's how it works," he responded.

"Rem?" Asked Misa.

"I promised Gelus you wouldn't die… but if this is truly what you want…"

I looked to Ryuk, "I won't bother asking you."

"Smart cookie, before we go mind if we stop for apples first," he asked the group.

We ditched school and went to the nearest convenience store and chomped away at some apples. Can't believe this will be my last meal? After that we went deep into the woods and sat down. Each of us wrote our own names in our own death notes.
