ME NO OWN FAIRY TAIL!
Snake's Desire
Natsu had long moved out of the room the older Mira occupied and into the mess of the once rowdy guild hall. He managed to find a chair that wasn't wrecked and sat on it, thinking.
The sunlight that had filtered into the ruined building was no longer there and was replaced with the moon light, but Natsu paid no attention with the sudden change of light as his mind was too busy thinking of a way out of this future and waking up in his present. Just how on earth was he supposed to do that? He wasn't some type of genie. As far as he understood he was a dragon slayer who once was a king to the fallen kingdom of Tetsu, he was very old, had his master Igneel disappear when he turned himself into a child. He fooled people of the guild from his present making them believe he was seventeen or something and that he knew nothing from his past except Igneel. But he didn't see any of this as a way to get him out of his retched future and to wake up. He didn't have much time till Pandora and Luke reached the guild, and on top of that he had to regain his memories. There was so much to do in such little time! And he didn't know how to accomplish all this!
In frustration, Natsu rubbed his hand through his pink hair, closing his eyes as he tried to wrap his mind around this situation.
He was driven from his thoughts as someone suddenly appeared before him, making him jump in surprise. His eyes widened as he recognized who it was, heart beating in his chest as he saw them smile sweetly and wave, walking up to him slowly as if they were to run up to him, he would disappear. Time seemed to freeze as he looked at who was in front of him, his mouth only able to form one word.
"Mira?"
Erza looked down at the piece of paper in her hand and then back up at the pub in front of her. Around her the crowd of people swarmed around masking both her, Lucy, Gray, and Happy from view of the pub that seemed to have some type of fear surrounding the area around it as people tried to walk as far away from it the best they possibly could.
The four of them had managed to get a lead to the person who had done this to Natsu and told them to go to a pub in the center of town called the 'Leprechaun's Song' and find a man by the name of Ginjera within who would give them all the details they need about the people they were after.
Lucy shuffled her feet beside Erza, looking at the pub in disgust and fear while Gray just casually looked at it, finding nothing to fear from the darkened atmosphere that surrounded it other than it looked like a badly built building that someone just decided to slab on some wood and nails and claim it as their pub.
Erza stuffed the piece of paper into her pocket, already memorized all the details she needed from it. She stepped through the crowd and towards the pub in front of them with Gray following along and Lucy walking hesitantly in behind the two, Happy in her arms.
Inside, the pub was foggy with smoke and stunk of strong alcoholic beverages. Large men with bulging muscles sat everywhere and women in revealing clothing were clinging to them with their heavily make-upped faces and big bust that left little to no imagination.
Erza forced her way through the smoke and people, trying to find the table that was at a lone corner of the pub. Finally she found it and stopped for the other three to catch up.
"Is that him?" Lucy asked as she eyed the stranger in the one of the wooden chairs. He looked to be somewhere in his thirties with slicked back dark brown hair and a smooth newly shaven face. He had dull grey eyes that gave off a dark aura to some of the exposed women when they tried to get near him, only for it to disappear when they scurried off in fear. He was a lot slimmer than the burly guys in the pub and wore a plan white shirt with a black jacket, jeans, and boots. He looked up when he noticed the four out of the corner of his grey eyes and smirked, motioning them over to his table. Erza nodded to Lucy's earlier question as she and the others made their way over.
"Guess so." she replied, taking her seat with her friends on the opposite side of the table.
"You three must be Miss Scarlet, Miss Heartifllia, and Mr. Fullbuster, am I correct?" he asked as he leaned his head into his hands. The three mentioned nodded their heads. "And who might you be?" he asked as his eyes went to Happy and lingered on the blue cat as he awaited his answer.
"Happy," the cat replied cheerfully even though his friends were quiet unpleasant towards the man. But who could blame them? Their best friend was force to loss their memories and then forced into a magic induced coma. Don't expect them to be skipping through a patch of tulips any time soon. The man smiled kindly at Happy, the smile looking foreign on his face.
"Nice to meet you Mr. Happy." he greeted politely. "I'm Ginjera Kooplin and I hear you are trying to get information about the dark guild called 'Snake's Desire'?" he asked them. Erza's eyes narrowed feeling some satisfaction at finally learning the guild's name that had started this whole mess they were knee deep in.
"You heard correctly." Gray said with a small smirk. "They did something to one of our friends and we're trying to get back at them, so please, don't hold back on telling us everything you know." Ginjera smiled bitterly at that and leaned back in his chair with a heavy sigh, his hands falling and folding in his lap underneath the wooden table.
"I see," he muttered with a slight nod. "Then I won't hold back at your request." He closed his eyes as he gathered all the information he could about Snake's Desire to the front of his mind before he relayed the information to the others. "Alright, are you ready?" he asked them, opening his eyes. The four nodded, their eyes narrowing just slightly making Ginjera smile at this. "Well, Snake's Desire is a guild formed by a man named Yugsn Termin. He formed the guild manly to make prophecies he hears about come true once he figures them out. He's a brilliant man, Mr. Termin is. Anyway, the only people allowed to join his guild are people who have S-class power and above or they'll become his servant and have to obey every order he gives them, and with permission, any of the actual guild members." Ginjera paused for a few moments before he went on. "As far as I know he has a trusted companion that isn't human, but a snake named Aslin who he cares for deeply. As for his top people remain a mystery to me." he finished as he took a drink from his beer beside him, watching Erza and the others over the rim of his mug.
"Do you know where Snake's Desire is?" Lucy asked him as her eyes followed his movements of setting his mug of beer down before she looked back up at him. Ginjera's smile turned suddenly sly at this and his eyes narrowed into just slits.
"You wouldn't be sent to me if I didn't know where Snake's Desire is, now would you?" he chuckled low in his throat as he ran a hand threw his greasy slicked back hair. "It's located in Hurat, just west of here in the Forest of Dark. It's an easy building to spot, a large abandoned castle in the middle of a dried out moat and surrounded by dead trees, hard to miss it." he told them. He looked at them one last time before he stood up and walked into the smoke fog, disappearing the further he walked, leaving the four alone at their table, staring at the man's disappearing back. None of them spoke until Ginjera was gone.
"Let's go, we don't have much time." Erza said as she stood up once Ginjera disappeared, the others following in pursuit. "It's time we give this guild a piece of our minds." she growled as her armored hand coiled into a fist. Lucy, Gray, and Happy nodded their head too, agreeing with Erza. All they wanted to do was fix this mess and go back home to the Natsu they knew. They would stop at nothing to make sure that happens.
