CH 27: sacrificial love

Maka opened her eyes, seeing nothing but darkness. Her head was pounding and felt as if someone was jabbing at her brain with a hot poker. She turned her head from side to side then groaned as the pain in her head increased.

She tried to move her arms and winced, her arms where spread in a T shape and chained to what felt like wooden beams, her feet where chained as well, one foot ontop of the other, a chain was around her torso, keeping her up. The angel's body slumped forward, making her shoulders burn with the strain. How had she gotten here?

*flashback*

Maka walked down the hallway, humming softly. She was on her way to see Crona and Kid, it had been weeks since Soul had brought her and Crona to hell and she had hardly seen them. The angel continued to hum but stopped when she heard footsteps behind her. "I will get my revenge with you, whore." Hissed a voice in her ear as something slammed into the back of her head, making her black out.

*reality*

Maka shifted slightly and winced. "no point struggling." Said the voice from before. "who are you?" Maka asked softly. Her kidnapper pulled the thing off her head, a bag, and Maka looked atr the person before her.

"Zeera…why are you doing this?" she asked. The fallen angel laughed coldly and without humor. "Revenge!" she said with a mad grin. "Revenge for what? I haven't done anything to you!" Maka said angrily. Zeera pulled out a dagger and held it to Maka's throat.

"its what Spirit and Kami did! They banished me for falling in love! I begged and pleaded for them to give me another chance! But they cast me out! Me and my baby! Soul was barely born!" screamed the hell queen, the blade of the dagger digging into Maka's neck, blood rolled down her and between her breasts.

"with your death, Kami will suffer and there will be no air to the throne of heaven!" screeched Zeera, her pale gray eyes bulging slightly. Maka gagged slightly. "Z-zeera, please." She choked. "BE QUITE WHORE!" Zeera screamed, making the angel whimper softly.

The queen grinned like a mad man and turned as the door slammed open, Soul stepping inside. "Soul." Maka whimpered. The prince's ruby eyes darted to the angel then his mother. "what the hell is going on?" he asked.

"I'm getting my revenge!" Soul narrowed his eyes. "You're going about it the wrong way." He sneered. "the ultimate revenge is to create a mutant with a mutant, make her have my child! Kami will be furious!" Soul said with a grin. Zeera grinned as well. "perfect!" she walked up to her son. "take her down and bed her immediately!" she said as she walked out.

Soul rushed forward and cut the chains on her feet and torso then put and arm around her waist and cut the ones on her arms. "I'm so sorry little dove!" he said holding her close. Maka wrapped her arms around his neck and buried her face into his shoulder.
