Guys I've managed to clear my head and have found a way to more or less soundly complete this story and I really think you'll be happy with the ending.

I flew. We all flew. Kidd, we're coming so don't do anything you'll regret! I hope L and the others made it to Light, we'll need him. Hopefully Anguish has succeeded in getting the King's attention with the help of Nu. I thought about the first time I met Kidd. All I cared about was being cool like Ryuk, and then my world changed. He wasn't even nice to me and he ignored me. There was no Fruits Basket moment like "learn to be yourself," nope, all I got was a simple "HINATA DIED!" Why do I care about him so much? I think it was the first time he smiled at me, it was around then I realized we were each other's first friends. I can't lose him. I love him.

We found the remnants of the castle far away. That's where Kidd will be. That is the old castle of the old world where the door of Kidd's dreams stand. Hang on Kidd, we're on our way!

We landed in the sand along the walls, but we were too late. By the time we got there it was as plain as the yellow moon on the black sky that Fate had gotten into Kidd's head and there was nothing we could do about it. Kidd snap out of it, whatever he's telling you is a lie or at the very least a version of the truth!

"Kidd, touch the door. Open it."

"Open… the door…"

"You'll never lose anyone you care about again."

"Never… again…"

He reached his human hand out to the wood. This was it, it was over. I watched as Kidd stretched out his hand slowly. I mumbled his name. He can't hear me; I could scream it out and he still wouldn't respond. I'm alone again; I've lost my friend. Even so I couldn't help but shout.

"KIDD!"

Fate looked over to us, finally noticing us. He only laughed at my feeble attempt. Only, it wasn't so feeble because Kidd's hand stopped. He wasn't reaching for the door anymore.

"No," he mumbled.

"No?" Responded Fate in surprise.

Kidd spun away from the door, "I'm not going to open the door for you Fate!"

Holy shit it worked.

"What are you saying Kidd, you'll lose everyone if you leave now!"

"There's a point where life stops giving us things and starts taking them instead, but that's what makes them so precious. My friends weren't afraid to die for me, and I can't let that sacrifice be wasted by giving in to you!"

There seemed to be light radiating off of him. I watched in awe, we all did, he was becoming a main character!

"That's it! They're dead! You could have saved them!" Shouted the evil Shinigami.

"I'll find some other way."

"There is no other way!"

Kidd paused and then looked directly into Fate's turned eyes, "There's always another way."

To say the least, I was impressed. Kidd had manned up considerable since I had left. And that speech wasn't too shabby. Props. But good things never last because suddenly Fate was behind me and strangling me, damn it! I don't ship this!

"You want another way? How about this: Open the door, or the sheep dies," stated my captor calmly.

Kidd only shrugged his shoulders, "I will mourn for you Key."

"WHAT THE HELL KIDD!? I LOVED YOU, YOU KNOW!?"

The back stabbing human laughed and walking to the door, "I know, I was kidding."

Kidd held out his hand again to the door, the door we all knew was calling him. As he got closer the wood began to glow and the stars carved in began to move as if they were falling from the wooden sky. We all looked overhead to see strange lights falling from the real sky. They only grew in number as Kidd grew closer.

He touched the door and it seemed nothing would happen? And then he whispered to it, something no one but I could hear for some reason, "Help me save my friends." And suddenly I was seeing what Kidd was seeing. A shining white arm came out as the door began to creak open. It touched Kidd's forehead and we could hear it, no distinct voice but something was telling us, "Go."

Suddenly I was back in my own body seeing with my own eyes. It only looked like a door had opened with nothing on the other side, but that wasn't what Kidd was seeing. I could feel it, I could see it, a new power inside of him. Fate let me go as the door began to slowly continue to open on it's own. He was aiming to get in. Shit, what do we do!? Once he enters we're done! Kidd started to glow and he waved his hands over his body and was suddenly wearing different clothes? Oh God. He's done a costume change. Fate was very close to the door now and Kidd pulled his fist back, "falcon," and he swung it foreword with crazy strength I had never seen before. The hit landed perfectly and was complimented by the loud scream of, "PUNCH!"

Fate flew back into an old wall far away from the door. We all stared at Kidd as he looked at his fist and new outfit. He then had stars in his eyes and was so giddy.

"I'M SO GLAD I CAME TO JAPAN!"

We all face palmed at how stupid he was being. Still, is this really Kidd? He's so confident now and strong? He raised his hand into the air and a sword conjured from nothing. He was oddly shaped and said "I shall smite thee with love" on the blade. Of course while Kidd was having a moment with his costume Fate had already made it half way back to the door. Kidd looked ready to blast the creep into oblivion, only to be grabbed buy the large black hands of Fate. He opened his mouth to begin to absorb Kidd's powers.

"L-Let go!"

"I will not be stopped by a human!"

Kidd struggled, and the next thing I knew Kidd was holding his arm out to me. I can't kill Fate? He's stronger than I am. He's dangerous. But… BUT KIDD NEEDS ME! I CAN'T DOUBT MYSELF RIGHT NOW! So I flew! I flew as fast as possible, taking the sword Kidd had dropped and jammed it into Fate's back.

"Don't touch my human."

Fate howled and I caught Kidd from the air and flew him to our crew. That was a stupid idea of mine because Fate managed to crawl to the door. It was around then we all realized that Kidd was the only one with any serious ability to fight Fate in his final form. What would we do?

"Maybe… Fate was going to take my powers so maybe I can share them with you guys," he said looking at us very seriously.

"Give it a go!" Cheered Espier. Oh the gang is back together again.

Kidd nodded and held his arms out in front of him to try and his powers to share. We watched patiently, Uru freaking out because omg Kidd Lelliet was going to share his powers with her. Carmella looked like she was going to have a geek attack watching Kidd like this. It's obvious that this is the only important part of their lives and after this battle life would be too boring and nothing would ever live up to how great their lives are right now, in this instant, while they're dead.

Suddenly we all were glowing and Fate was absorbing the door. The same power's Kidd had received Fate was receiving as well, only he was already a God of some sorts, so he was stronger than we were. We all had costume changes, well the humans anyway. Hold on, we Shinigami got a little something added to us. I was dumbfounded; I knew exactly what was going on.

"You guessed it! Key, you're powers are like Gundam, which is why you have metal plating along your body! Espier you've got Itsuki Koizumi's powers which is why I've changed you to the North High Uniform, light up and kick ass. Coin, you're completely pink now and have a locket! I turned you into Sailor Mini Moon! Use whatever sugary powers you got well! Matsuri, I gave you the powers of Tsukimi from Princess Jellyfish. Don't ask what those are, you'll figure it out as you go. Enjoy the dress, it looks good on you."

I thought I looked cool, Espier was excited, Coin looked irritated, and Uru looked like she was about to melt. All that left was Hari- Carmella. She glared at Kidd and she looked at her revealing costume.

"And me?"

"Obviously you're dressed as Ryuko Matoi from Kill La Kill-"

He was cut off by a square punch in the jaw. He wiped the blood from his nose. Woah! Kidd experienced his first anime pervert nose bleed! He stood up and we all turned to face the new Fate. He was bigger and badder and looked like a black cyclone with eyes of fire and lightning.

"Enough references, it's time to save the world," Kidd finished.

I only laughed at this, "And to think they said anime wasn't cool."

Great finishing line for this chapter. I swear guys, this story is supposed to be funny so if you give me any lip on Kidd's power I'll bust that lip. I mean, if you got the power from the heavens to overthrow parts of reality would you not make anime real? I mean, magic cosplay? That would be my first change. Lol Review!
