Nu floated along in the Shinigami realm. It was there she found Hurt and Harm loafing about, groaning, complaining, as they always did.

"Where the hell is my notebook?"

Nu remembered Key's pleads and approached them, "Hello boys."

"Nu, what's the King's dog doing here?"

She was famous as the King's loyal servant, a debt she did not care to explain. She looked around and finally said, "The King will not give you a new Notebook, but I have found your old one. It is in the human world."

She explained the location and who took it. She also found them a suitable human to help them. They flew off after bowing and she took a seat on their rocks. She thought about the doorway to Heaven and wondered what it was like on the other side.

Everyone stood ready to fight Fate in his ultimate form. With the power of the door this reality was changing. The sky became everything and everything became black. The humans and their Shinigami stood over what looked like floating glass. A bridge formed to what looked like a door and the dark voice of Fate could be heard.

"Come and find me young Masaya, we shall see who deserves to become God of the new world!"

Meanwhile!

Light flinched as he flew with Ryuk and the others in tow. For some reason he felt like someone was stealing his catchphrase and he didn't like it. He looked up at the yellow moon in the sky, only showing that Fate's world only extended so far. That's just a note for the reader.

And back!

"Let's end this," Kidd said as he approached the first door, unaware of what might lie beyond.

His friends followed and Kidd pressed his hand to the door, using his power to open it. When they walked through the door there was nothing but sand and the ocean.

"Well this is strange," said Carmella, trying to use her hands to cover her half naked body.

Coin gave Kidd a thumbs up, "Very tasteful."

Kidd gave a very douchy smile back, "But of course."

She punched them both in the heads, "Can we be serious!?"

Uru fiddled with her pink gown, plushie jellyfish along the fur collar, "I wish I had the body to wear that."

Carmella stared at the fat girl and posed, "Well when you put it like that, I guess this isn't so bad."

They looked out to the water where a human stand. She was made of water and the narrator had to resist making a FREE reference. It opened it's eyes and held it's arm out.

"Who's first," it asked.

Carmella stepped up first of course, "I'll kick your ass sideways."

Coin stood beside her, "And I'll do whatever the hell Kidd's new powers will let me!"

The water woman watched the girl and penguin man while the others stood away. Kidd couldn't help but internally geek out and the video game setting. He assumed that defeating this woman would reveal the next door to the final boss, or maybe another boss! Key held Kidd close, having him breath a few times to calm the boy down.

Carmella stood with the pink Coin towering beside her. And it started.

"Here I come!"

Her outfit started sparkling as she ran into the water. She pulled out a scissor blade from no where! Likewise, Coin held his arm up and received the cutest little heart shaped wand, which he was not too happy about.

"Pink Sugar! Heart! Attack!"

Coin posed with his wand and waited for something to happen but nothing did, "Aww what the hell Kidd!?"

"Sorry! It's a character trait! Try picking a weapon from a later season!"

"What the hell! You guys were lucky I knew a weapon from any season!" He called back!

And then a wave struck him and he went under, his head stuck in the sand. Luckily for him, that was his regular ability as a Shinigami so he probably wouldn't die… But some small singing crabs did come over to pinch him while he was immobilized.

"I never thought Fate would come up with a world so ridiculous," said Espier watching the debacle.

While Coin was distracted Carmella was swiping as best she could at the water woman, but it was not enough. Waves would come up, harden, and fall back to water to block her cuts. She needed to be quicker, but she didn't know if she could. Plus with her body as exposed as it was it made her easy pickings. She slid down under the water woman to make a cut, but the only thing that happened was the woman fell into the sea and a new one appeared. In other words, you can't cut water. And she was blasted back to the sand, her headfirst. And more singing crabs came to pinch her and her friend.

Coin was able to dig them both out, but Carmella was down for this fight, which pissed her off royally. They needed a real plan to beat this woman. If the first stage was this hard then how difficult would it be to face Fate in the final round?

"Kidd, you said I had powers from… Princess Jellyfish? I don't know what those are but maybe I can beat her since my power must also include water."

They stared at her, thinking it could work, until Kidd said, "Actually Princess Jellyfish is about a girl finding her confidence and own true beauty; the jellyfish is just a character trait."

"Shut up Kidd! Now listen to me Uru, I want you to go out there and win! Kill that hooker so I can get a slice of vengeance! AVENGE ME DAMN IT," Yelled Carmella.

Carmella pulled the last little crab out of her hair and threw it to Coin, who caught it and ate it. However his stomach began to sing. This is what he gets for helping a bunch of humans. Carmella locked eyes with Uru and Key started to ship them. Kidd pulled his Shinigami aside and had him take a few deep breaths to calm down.

"Who's next," laughed the enemy.

Uru was trembling but she stood up anyway, "I- I will t-take you on!"

The woman laughed, "you? And I thought the other one was easy pickings."

Uru stumbled on her words but stood her ground, "I just have to believe I can do it. I have to know that I can win not only for myself but also for my friends! And as long as I can do that then… then… THEN I WILL NEVER LOSE!"

"That speech was perfect," Kidd yelled out.

"I believe," she whispered holding her hands out, "I… believe…"

Suddenly the whole arena was underwater, but they didn't have trouble breathing. Once again that was Kidd's power at play. The woman grinned as she started sending currents at the fat girl. Without even realizing it she was fast. Uru was swimming very quickly and easily. She realized that she had a very weird power and decided to explore it. She appeared by the water woman and Uru's fingers turned into tentacles. She poisoned the water woman who screamed in pain.

"Filthy human!"

Uru was shot back, but did not stop there. She summed a large flowerhat jellyfish and was riding upon it. She pulled out a string of pearls that turned black at her touch and shot them out to tie up the woman. She found herself unable to move.

"I will not lose!"

Uru's jellyfish disappeared and she took off her glasses and put them onto the water woman, "I seal thee!"

The woman turned to stone and the water fell until there was nothing but a calm beach. Kidd was very impressed by her references. Carmella was excited by how quick the death was! Espier was in love. A door appeared in the ocean, one made of glass like the door they took to get to the ocean. Uru smiled but fell. They ran to her side and Kidd held her in his arms.

"What's happening!?"

"Equivalent exchange…"

"No! Those anime are completely different! You're not supposed to die!"

"I took too much Kidd, now it's time to be given away."

"No! Tht's not how it works!"

"I can see it," said Key, "her health bar is too low even for my abilities to heal."

There was a legitimate health bar floating over her head. Kidd was going to cry but she stopped him, "For the first time in my life… I feel like I'm a princess," and then she leaned up and kissed Kidd before her eyes closed forever and she turned into sparkling bubbles that floated into the sky.

"I can't… I can't have you guys follow me," Kidd said as he stood by the door, "I won't lose anymore friends! Just wait here until I've defeated Fate. I'll make him pay for what he's done to us!"

Espier smacked his friend on the back of the head, "But you can't do it alone idiot."

"What kind of friends would we be if we let you face perilous evils on your own?" Smiled Carmella.

"Lets kick his ass together," chimed in Coin.

And then Kidd looked to Key who simply said, "I'll be with you all the way."

Kidd nodded, "Promise to stay close."

They all made a pact and enter the door to the next stage.

Meanwhile!

Light and the crew finally arrive, seeing a huge black hole where only a door is visible. It was then Anguish caught up with them.

"It seems Fate has reached the door and is recreating the world. The King is staying behind in his domain and focusing all his power on keeping Fate's nightmare realm from expanding past this point," she said.

"Where is everyone else," Light asked, hoping to find Kidd.

Suddenly a cluster of rainbow glittering bubbles appeared by the door and there Matsuri was standing, her usual attire on. She no longer had the power of Princess Jellyfish.

"You!"

She looked up, "So you've come back to help!"

"What's going on?" asked Misa.

"Well, Kidd opened Fate's new door and we all entered behind him. Then I fought a water lady and died. I saw this outline of a human that called itself truth and it asked me to give it something in exchange for saving my life."

"And?"

"Well I gave it my powers as well as sixty pounds."

They took a second look at her, she was ay skinnier now, only her boobs were still huge. Hell yeah, Uru Tomoe has it going on! He clothes were kind of baggy now but it made her look like a super kawaii idol.

"So Kidd and everyone else are in there?" Hurt asked.

"But how do we get in, we do not have the power to open doors," said Harm.

They stare at the door, trying to find a way to get in when Anguish remembers something as Light watches the door.

"Light, you were once considered as a potential Masaya but because Kidd was far less unstable he was chosen instead of you. Even so your soul has not changed from before, if anything it's become clearer. So maybe…"

Light finished for her, "Maybe I could access the power of the door and transform."

L smiles then, touching the high school's boy's shoulder, "Yes, because you, Light, have a noble soul."

Light would be lying if he said he wasn't touched by L's words. He turned to the door and readied himself because for the first time in his life, Light had no idea what he was doing.

Guys! This story is finally almost over! I promised some people to finish another fic when this is done and I'm really glad I can write the final battles now. Shit gets so real! XD REVIEW!
