The final countdown! XD Lol last chapter I forgot to mention but Uru turning into a pretty girl was actually a reference to this new manga called "Please Boys Kiss Him Not Me" and LOL it's actually really good. There are only 4 chapters right now so google it!

We stepped through the door, Coin, myself, Kidd, Espier, and Key. Uru had just died or something, I don't know. I honestly wasn't paying that much attention. What? I mean it's not like when Zack died in Final Fantasy? After that I don't care about who dies.

This next world is very different from the one before. This world looked like a city, with jagged lines, and lights everywhere of white and blue and black. There was one building floating far away that looked like a robotic squid bird thing? It flailed its power cord tentacles and said in an altered higher pitched voice.

"You are the chosen one," it greeted.

Well that one can talk so that's the one we have to kill, note to self.

"We will stop you," Kidd yelled back.

The robo squid seemed to make a face, though it had none, "And I thought we could be friends. I even have a present for you!"

The ground shook and the buildings came out of the ground and were hurled at us. Kidd was ready to fight but I moved him aside, pulling out my scissor blade.

"Save your strength Kidd, and leave this bozo to me and Coin."

"Are you sure?"

I looked at him, so cute and helpless. I pinched his cheeks, "Leave it to me~"

The building came and I held my blade high, "Now Coin!"

I jumped onto his back and we flew at rabid speeds. I cut through the buildings in one swift motion. He kept throwing more but I kept cutting through them. I had Kidd and the others follow close behind. Let's see what this sexy outfit of mine can really do.

"You don't like my buildings? Here, I've thought of another present for you… despair."

"Oh shut up," I called.

Our enemy looked affronted but then smiled… I think. Suddenly the ground broke apart and we were all up in the air. One wrong move and we fall to our deaths. And the robot is still so far away! The buildings were faster now, so I moved as quickly as I could. When one made it past me Coin would use his sugar girl powers to move them off course. We ran through, jumping as far as we could. Until finally we were closer to our enemy and the buildings stopped.

Now we were on what looked like a horizontal gate, a platform and it was slowly rising when enemies appeared. They looked like mechanical octopi. I tried to swipe at them but they were too small and too quick. One latched itself onto my face and began to drain me of my energy. I need another plan! I felt myself growing weaker and I fell to my knees. Key let out a wolf whistle. Fuck that Shinigami.

"WE NEED TO HELP CARMELLA! IT'S DRAINING HER OF HER ENERGY," screamed Kidd.

Energy… Energy… ENERGY! THAT'S IT! I called out to Coin in a muffled voice. I held up my blade like it was his wand and he got the idea.

"PINK! SUGAR! HEART! ATTACK!"

Everyone got down and giant pink laser hearts burst out of his wand. He rotated it and it destroyed the robots, but hit me as well. I fell over as the platform came to a stop and we were finally at the robot squid.

"Carmella are you alright," they asked.

I closed my eyes for a moment. I was suddenly having a flashback. It was me as a child playing by the swings all alone, as most main characters do as children. I drew fried eggs in the dirt and would climb trees and look up at the sky. Then I would run home as fast as I could and turn on the TV. When I got older and joined a The Tigers Gang I had forgotten he manga I had read and the anime that I had seen. I lost all memory of the vocaloid I listened to… but I never forgot how they were there for me when no one else was and that inside I will always be… AN OTAKU!

My eyes shot open and I let out a battle cry, the stitches of fabric jabbed into my skin and drained my blood. I know I said I don't care about who dies… but I take it back! I'm not just doing this for my new friends, I'm doing this for my friends of the past! I'm doing this for Otaku everywhere! My outfit… became even more insane.

"COIN!"

"YES SIR!"

We flew together, him and me with my jet pack crazy thing with his sparkles and wings. We were at eye level with the squid; all of us floating while our friends wait below. We struck at the creep. He struck back. He was fast, but for the first time I was finally faster! I suppressed the need to make a FREE Iwatobi reference past this part. We cut and blew him up. With each strike a glass bead fell. Kidd chased after them as they fell out. My heart started beating! I was truly alive in this instant! This is the reason I was born!

"GIGA DRILL BREAKER!" With one final strike we took down the bastard! He flew up and all the beads below formed into a door. I flew down with Coin to the others.

"Easy as," I fell over, completely drained, "I need a coffee."

Kidd smiled helping me stand back up, my outfit kind of getting in the way, "We'll get a coffee when this is over."

I grinned at him, "That a date?"

He blushed like a little uke, which gave me strength honestly. I pat his head, he was really cute after all. But then sirens went off and a new kind of robot was flying over. They were red and looked like crosses. The door opened and I knew that… well… I wasn't going to be getting coffee with anyone. Kidd saw the look on my face, when he looked into my eyes he could tell what I was thinking.

"No! Come with us! You promised! None of us were going to die! We were going to-"

"Kidd, I'm not gonna die," I held out my pinky, "I'm keeping that promise. So don't you die either and we can reunite on the other side of the door after you kick Fate's decrepit ass. Keep your wits about you."

He interlocked his pinky with mine and he said very randomly and very suddenly, "I LOVE YOU CARMELLA!"

I freed our pinkies and I pushed him face first through the door, trying to cover a blush, "Yeah I know."

He was ready to pass through when I called his name, he turned and I gave him a smile and a thumbs up, "My real name's Hari."

He smiled and passed through the door. Key and Espier following.

"You're not going with," I asked Coin, not taking my eyes off as the door began to close.

He shrugged his shoulders, "You're my human, where you go I follow."

"Good final words."

"You lied to Kidd you know, we're probably going to die," he grinned.

"I didn't lie, we will stay together. We'll be right here, no matter what happens," I said pointing to my heart, "That's our bond and not even death can break it."

"Good final words," he said.

And then they came, and we fought. Just like in Tales of the Abyss.
