~ Naruto POV~

Naruto was once again hanging out with Kiba and Ino. Mostly because they were the only people he could hang out with at the time. With Kiba being one of his better friends, and Ino really feeling like a sister to him. Never mind the fact that most of the other people he knew was doing their own thing. Shikamaru trying to figure out what happened between him andTemari. Neji and TenTen decided to take up some clubs. Sakura was trying to find Naruto as is. And Sasuke? He was just being anti-social as usual. Naruto looked towards the couple, rather narrow eyed as they were talking about, who knows what. But whatever it was, it really made him feel like the third wheel, which, was not really a good feeling, which made him get up, about to excuse himself when Shikamaru came busting in. "So, um, guys? Temari is, sort of, leaving the school." Shikamaru kind of mumbled to them. "You, poor thing! It must suck to be dumped by the person you care about." Ino commented, with Kiba nodding along. "I, don't care for her like that, and she didn't dump me or vice versa. Just thought since you're her friends too, you would like to know she's leaving." Shikamaru said, about to leave. That's when Naruto finally broke his silence. "Wait, where is she right now? We gotta at least try and talk her out of it." Naruto suggested. "...Fine. I was told she was getting signed out at the office." Naruto nodded and walked out of the room, with everybody following behind him

~ Shikamaru POV~

Shikamaru had no idea what he was doing. He didn't really care for her all that much. Or, last he checked he didn't. Him and the others were real close to the principles office when Shikamaru looked towards the exit of the school and saw Temari walking out with Kankuro and, some other guy he never seen. Shikamaru wanted to call out to her but, did it matter? She obviously made a decision to leave, what would anything he say be able to stop her? But, he just, couldn't let his last time seeing her just be her walking out the door. Thinking that, he had to call out. "Temari?" He called. Which made her turn around and say something real quick to one of the guys and walked over to Shikamaru with her head down. Like, she couldn't make eye contact with him. Once she was close enough he started to talk. "Temari, can we ask you to just reconsider you-" but before he could finish, Temari interrupted him. "You don't understand, which is, okay. I barley don't understand it myself. But, I need to go. I'm sorry, I'm over this school, I'm over my friends, and, I'm over you." She said, giving him one last peck on the cheek before walking away, and leaving the school. Shikamaru was rather, emotionless to that, on the outside. But man, did it feel like all the air was taken out of him and got hit by a train. He felt Naruto and Kiba pat him on the shoulder and Ino hug him from behind, but truthfully, he didn't care, nor was he paying attention to it, he was just, out of it.
