This was it.

Almost feels like a movie, the heroes are going into the final battle, the audience fears the worst. I hope it's one of those happy movies where the heroes win and no one dies.

I don't know if I believe in a God, but I sure have prayed a lot in the past couple hours.

The plan – my plan – is in action. My planning skills are responsible for the lives of not only me and my team, but my Uncle Bucky and Uncle Sam, the Fantastic Four, and Spiderman. Oh, and the free world, did I mention that one?

"Artemis?" Ethan's had was on my shoulder, I looked at him, his expression was filled with concern.

I smiled at him, "I'm fine."

He raised an eyebrow, but smiled back.

My team and I were waiting for the others to stage a distraction so we can get in there. Ethan and Brian had determined that they had control of the people because they constantly captured them, their families had to "behave" to guarantee their safety. They were locked in 'Prisons' all over the world (except Switzerland, apparently). We had to hit the kill switch, shutting them all down. But first we had to hack their systems… and defeat all the guards.

That was the hard part.

Because Hydra didn't exactly like to lose.

But neither did we.

All of a sudden, the Hydra guards all started yelling. At first, I thought we had been made, and then I realized that the others were attacking. The guards all started to desert their posts, my plan was working.

"Ethan, suit up, I need you to stay on the ground, but I don't want you getting hit with anything." I whispered, looking at the bullets flying overhead. He nodded, and was soon in full armor, minus the face plate that he held in his hand.

"Grace, Sarah, you are going to be our air support once we get in. If the ceilings get in the way, blow them off. I don't care about property damage at this point." They smiled at each other, seemingly pleased at the go ahead to destroy national property.

"Apollo and Brian, you are my ground team. Apollo," I gulped, this was my least favorite part, "you are gonna stay out here, make sure no Hydra agents get in or out. Brian, you will suit up and do the same." They nodded, how could they seem so sure?

"Bucky, you, me, and Ethan are going in. Ethan and I have to hack their control panel and I need someone to watch our backs. You up for it?"

"You bet!" he exclaimed. I swear, he is the only one who is somewhat excited about this whole plan.

"Brian, on my signal, you suit up, while they see Titan, Ethan, Grace, Sarah, Bucky, and I will go in."

"Ok."

I looked over the hill we were behind, there were only a few guards. I held my hand up behind me, gesturing for them to wait. Then I saw an opening, "Go! Brian now!"

Titan was charging in a second later.

While the guards were distracted, we took off for the building.

I saw the others in battle, they needed help. Totally not part of the plan, but I could work with it. I looked up, "Titan!" I screamed.

He looked at me as I gestured to be lifted. He picked me up and put me on his shoulder. Then I fired arrows at the Hydra surrounding my Uncle Bucky and Uncle Sam, watching them all fall to the ground.

My Uncle Bucky saluted me, and I nodded back. We were at the door and the others were going in.

"Artemis!" Apollo yelled, "Go on!"

I looked at Titan, "Take care of my brother, ok?"

He grunted and nodded.

"Thank you, be careful."

He nodded again, putting me down.

"Apollo! Be careful!"

"Don't worry! I'll be fine! Just go!"

I nodded, running into the building.

It was quieter then outside, but that wasn't saying much.

Grace and Sarah were already in the air, blowing holes everywhere.

"Artemis!" Bucky yelled, "Over here!"

I ran over to him and Ethan, "This way, come on!" Ethan yelled, dragging me down a hall.

"Not so fast!" 'Loki' yelled, jumping in front of us.

"Ah!" we screamed, jumping back.

"I thought I got rid of you shrimps months ago."

I smirked, "We're pretty resilient."

"Why don't you give me the Stark technology, and I'll think about letting you and your friends live?"

I looked at him with a straight face, "no."

"Oh, so you want to face the power of Loki?"

"No," I smirked again, "But since you're not him, we have nothing to worry about."

"What?"

"You. Aren't. Loki." I could hear Ethan and Bucky chuckle behind me.

"What do you mean, of course I'm Loki!"

"No you aren't." Ethan gave me a thumbs up.

"That's it, you asked for it." he pointed his staff at me. I didn't even flinch.

Probably because it didn't work, Jarvis had just disabled it. Then his mask fell.

I recognized him. "Grant Ward?"

His eyes widened as he took in his appearance.

"Told you you weren't Loki."

He lunged at me, but I had him pinned to a wall faster than he could blink.

"I'd kill you, but that would rob me of the enjoyment of whatever Coulson and May would do to you. I think that's a pain worse than death, don't you?"

He glared at me, and Ethan subdued him, knocking him out with a single punch.

"I don't like that guy."

"Who does?"

I caught Bucky punching him, and raised an eyebrow.

"Just in case."

"Of course. Buck, stay here and guard him. Don't want his cronies taking him before he faces justice."

He nodded, "I'd very much enjoy that."

"Ethan, let's go."

When we found the tech central, I grabbed a handful of arrows, getting ready to fire as Ethan blew the door down. With the door down, I shot down about 30 people in about 15 seconds.

I looked to Ethan, "This is too easy."

"No kidding. Something's missing."

"I was expecting…"

"More."

"Exactly."

"Something's not right."

"Well, we can't think about it now, we have to finish this."

He nodded, and we started hitting buttons. It took 15 minutes to shut the whole thing down. We met up with Bucky and our prisoner, then Sarah and Grace. Way to easy, until I heard someone talking.

"I think you should go turn that back on."

I looked at Ward, "And why's that?"

"Cut off one head, two more grow."

I looked at the others; we exchanged weird glances as we walked outside.

Then I knew what he meant.

Titan was in chains, roaring at the agents who held him, another two men that I didn't recognize held my brother and he was unconscious. I realized the other heroes were in a similar state, except they were conscious. Agents grabbed Grace, Sarah, Bucky and Ethan. And Suddenly I was facing Ward alone.

"I think you want them to live, no?"

My eyes widened. I knew it was too easy. I looked down, my mind was racing, but then, I looked up, and calmed myself down. I had to do this.

Turning on my defenseless little girl charm, I looked at Ward, "If I turn it on, will you let them go?"

"No. But I will let them live."

"Ok."

He smiled, "good. Now give me your weapons." I put my bow and gun down on the ground, but as I made to stand up, I grabbed the emergency gun in my boot and shot Titan free, then aimed at Ward. Titan's rampage freed the other heroes, who started fighting right away; my team freed themselves in the chaos. Grace ran towards my brother, pulling his head into her lap.

I looked to her, my gun still pointed at Ward, "Get him out of here! Take him to Asgard, get the back up!"

She picked him up, a beam of light appeared, then they were gone. Sarah nodded at me, confirming that it was the Biofrost. Seconds later, Grace reappeared. This time, Fly, Fury, Coulson, May, and a mixture of Asgardian and S.H.I.E.L.D forces accompanied her. I noticed Grace point at me, and they all looked towards me. The Asgardians knelt down, and S.H.I.E.L.D just stared.

"You're the leader Artemis!" Grace yelled, "They await your orders!"

I stared, wide-eyed, my gun still aimed at Ward. Then I regained my composure, "My team is all ready fighting Hydra, assist them and end Hydra at all costs. Try to preserve the buildings, but if they are in the way, get rid of them. And Director Coulson."

He looked at me.

"Here's your guy!" I shoved him towards Coulson, and he grabbed Ward, May's gun already in his face.

"All right everyone!" I yelled, grabbing my bow and putting my guns away, "Attack!"

There was a battle cry from the warriors as they ran into battle, with me at their head.

I smirked, Hydra never had a chance.

After three hours of fighting, they were all either dead or captured. We won. There were, people with cell phones filming us. I thought they were dumb, but none of them died so that's all that mattered. The others, Asgardian warriors and S.H.I.E.L.D agents included gathered around me and my friends.

I could hear my Uncle Bucky yell,
