From the child called it I changed it to a girl and she ran away. She put herself in a school when she was fourteen. She has her own crush and she is really shy. She is just happy to get away from her Step mother.

Chapter One

It all started when I was fourteen. No one understood me, Jessica. I was the girl who tried to stay in the back and be ignored. I was five foot nine. The fastest in the class which drew attention. I just ignored them as much as I could. I couldn't talk to anyone because of how shy I was.

The first period I had in middle school was English. So many kids that transferred from different schools tried to talk to me. Thankfully other students told them about my shyness and they ignored me for a few periods.

I had absolutely no idea of what to say if I was going to speak to someone. I didn't know anyone except for Demetri. He was the cutest guy in school. He had, and still has blue eyes and is so hilarious. I wish I had the guts to go up to him and just… say something.

I can't stop thinking of the "Say Something I'm Giving Up On You" song. I think he should make the first move, not me.

That's probably why he always passes me in the hallway. Maybe I should go talk to him before lunch starts.

Ok, here we go. "Um. Excuse me Demetri. I, was. Um. Just wanting to say hi." "Hey Jessica. I was wondering why you don't ever hang out with anyone?" Demetri asked. I got nervous again and couldn't say anything. "It's ok if you don't want to answer. It's kind of a personal answer. I'm just gonna go to lunch now." He awkwardly said backing away. " No! Don't go. I-I mean it's just I really shy. Except for, ya know. What I just did." "Hehe. It's ok. I used to be the same way."He said generously.
