A.N. YO! I'm so sorry it took me so long to update! I feel like a terrible person! Stupid school work getting in the way of my writing!
Anyways here you are chapter 11!
Amelia groaned as she heard her aunt dancing into her room, and turned on the light. She pulled her covers over her head in an attempt to block out the light.
"Amelia time to get and go to that wonderful school of yours, maybe your meet a guy that you'll fall passionately in lov-" Mae was abruptly cut off by the pillow that had flew in her face.
"…. Aunt Mae…. No more talking…. Please…" Amelia grumbled eye twitching, as she roughly threw her covers off and slowly started to look for something to wear. Mae quickly ran off to the kitchen to avoid her niece's morning mood, and to finish breakfast. Amelia finally found a pair of comfy slacks, grabbed a black sweater and a baggy hoodie. After changing she grabbed her bag and her favorite hat, ski cap like. That she had received on one of the multiple trips she had been on with her parents.
Amelia stumbled into the hallway and made it halfway down the hall before coughing violently. Her aunt rushed into the hallway to check on her…
"Are you okay?" Mae asked the recovering Amelia.
"Yeah…." Amelia said hoarsely. Amelia had caught something over the weekend and it seemed to only be getting worse.
"I think we should go to the doctors after school today. Look at how puffy your eyes are it looks like you were crying all night." Mae said and turning back to the kitchen. "But don't worry Millie I made something that should help. There's lots of fruits with your breakfast today!" Mae that cheered. Amelia groaned and followed her aunt into the kitchen.
"Aunt Mae as lovely as that sounds, I'm not really that hungry. Could you just pack it in a bento for lunch?" Amelia murmured. Her aunt looked at her concerned and sighed before nodding.
"Okay but you promise me you'll at least eat something on the way to school? Even if you have to stop at a convenience store." Mae said sternly. Amelia nodded, feeling ready to go back to bed already.
"I'll try, but no promises." Amelia said taking the newly packed bento from her aunt and put it in her bag.
"That's the closest as I'm getting to a yes isn't it?" Mae said.
"Yep!" Amelia said managing a small smile.
"Well maybe a cute boy will comfort you during your misery today." Mae said cheerfully. Amelia glowered at her aunt, but did feel like arguing and simply walked out the door calling a 'bye' over her shoulder. Now Mae felt even more worried about her niece.
Amelia did not listen to her aunt. She felt too nauseous to even attempt food. 'Damn this illness! It obviously isn't just a cold anymore. I don't want to go to the doctors!' Amelia thought dismayed. Amelia arrived at the bus stop just as Haruhi did. Haruhi observed Amelia's appearance, noticing she wasn't wearing anything that she usually wore.
"Uh. Amelia are you okay?" Haruhi asked her.
"Not really… I feel miserable. It was a cold but now I think it's worse, maybe some sort of virus. Stupid person who sneezed on me on the train… I knew I should've worn a sick mask just in case." Amelia grumbled yawning and then having a mini coughing fit.
"Are you sure you should being going to school?" Haruhi asked her once she seemed to have recovered a bit. Amelia groaned in response as the bus pulled up to the stop. Haruhi shook her head and got on the bus, Amelia following. Once seated Amelia promptly fell asleep on Haruhi's shoulder.
After dragging Amelia off the bus Haruhi pulled a can of orange juice out of her bag opened it and waved it under her nose. Amelia snatched the can from Haruhi downed it, and threw it in a nearby trash can.
"Thanks. I needed that." Amelia said feeling more cheerful despite still feeling like crap. About ten minutes later they arrived at their luxurious school for the rich, with the exception of them. Once again Amelia felt the urge to go the restroom. 'Seriously every time we get to school it means that I'll have use the 3rd year's rest room.' Amelia thought.
"Hey Haruhi I'll catch up. I have to pee, see ya." Amelia said dashing for the restroom. Leaving Haruhi to most likely deal with the twins herself.
A few minutes later Amelia came out of the rest room and started head towards her wing of the building, or she was when she suddenly heard running and felt someone collide with her wrapping theur arms around her.
"Amelia-chan! Good morning." Hunny exclaimed cheerfully. Mori came walking up behind him.
"H-Hunny-senpai. Good morning, though I don't think those two words fit well together, ya know? There is rarely a good morning. Take for example my morning has been terrible. Well it is better now." Amelia stated, hoping her last sentence would make him happy.
"How is it better?" Hunny asked curiously tilting his head.
"Because of you. I needed a hug and you gave me one." Amelia said smiling down at him. Mori watched them and listened to her explantion. He wondered if what Amelia said was the truth. He could see that she didn't feel good. Amelia seemingly just noticed his staring looked up at him and smiled.
"Morning Mori-senpai!" Amelia said cheerfully to him. All he did in reply was nod.
"Well I have to get to class. So see you guys at club. Bye Bye." Amelia waved walking by them waving over her shoulder. Amelia began running towards her classroom, running out of paranoia. Sadly enough getting to class without running into anyone else was against her. Amelia not watching where she was turned abruptly down a hall and slammed into someone she fell down while the person she had ran into only stumbled back a bit. Amelia struggled to get up she started talking.
"Ah! I'm really sorry… I wasn't watching where I was.." Amelia was cut off by another one of the wretched coughing fits.
"Are you alright, Amelia?" She heard him, ask as he knelt down next her, she looked up at him, 'Kyoya!'
"Not really." She said her hurt all the coughing. Kyoya helped her stand.
"Maybe you should go to the nurse, Amelia." He said adjusting his glasses.
"Nah, I'm good. I've had worse than this. Hey! You didn't call me by my last name! I could hug you, but I'm sick and it would not be wise to hug you when I'm sick… Unless you didn't care, which you probably do. Oh my gosh look at the time we better get to our classes.. Uh.. Bye bye Kyoya." Amelia said running to her classroom again, leaving a smirking Kyoya. Amelia finally arrived to her classroom, relieved that the twins didn't notice her as she sat down. 'That's strange… Why didn't Kyoya threaten me to raise my debt? I know he's not a horrible person but still he could've come up with something.' Amelia the thought shaking her head. She closed her eyes laying her head down on her desk.
"I hate feeling like this..." Amelia mumbled before falling asleep.
"Wow it's been awhile since you actually napped through class. Are you sure you shouldn't just go home?" Haruhi asked Amelia who was slowly eating her lunch of mostly fruits.
"Nah. I'll endure it. Besides I'm fine it's not that bad I was just tired I didn't sleep well last night." Amelia said giving Haruhi a reassuring smile.
"Yeah, you don't look too good." Haruhi stated.
"I'm fine!" Amelia said definitely though her body betrayed her as she found herself in a coughing fit.
"See you not fine." Haruhi said.
"I-I Just choked on my lunch!" Amelia said once she recovered.
"Sure…" Haruhi said.
"My daughters have returne-" Tamaki was abruptly cut off by Amelia's hard cover copy of the Return of the King colliding with his face. Amelia picked her book up that had bounced off his face onto to the floor next to him. She then walked over to a sofa towards the back of the club and laid down pulling her much loved ski cap over her eyes.
"Ouch. Why did Amelia-chan do this to me…" Tamaki groaned in pain and cried going to his corner of woe.
"We know that the boss can be annoying but That was a bit harsh Amelia-chan." The twins said in unsion as they started towards her.
"Another step and you getting hit too." Amelia said coldly, the twins stop and then jumped behind Haruhi.
"S-scary…" They both mumbled. Kyoya looked over at her and sighed as he wrote something down in his black notebook.
"Sorry we're late guys! I had to wait on Takashi to finish up with his Kendo." Hunny exclaimed as him and Mori walked into the club room.
"Huh? What happened?" Hunny asked. Haruhi looked at him and sigh trying to shake off the twins.
"Amelia hit Tamaki with her book and then threatened to hit Hikaru and Kaoru." Kyoya simply stated. Hunny eyes widened as he looked at Amelia and then he started to walk over to the sofa.
"Hey Lia-chan that wasn't nice." Hunny said. Amelia sighed and sat up pushing her hat up so she could see him. 'I'm never getting any fricken sleep, am I?' She didn't precisely care at the moment she felt miserable and they sadly were at her mercy. Amelia plus being sick equals misery for everyone, unless she likes them then she could come close to confessing her feelings.
"I'm not his daughter. I think hitting someone with a book is perfectly logi-" Amelia started coughing violently and fell off the sofa. Tamaki popped out of his corner of woe and started towards her, but Hunny and Mori beat him.
"Are you Lia-chan?!" Hunny asked frantically. Mori leaned down and helped her back up onto the sofa.
"Amelia! Are you okay my daughter?! Are you sick? No! My daughter can't die!" Tamaki yelled frantically. Amelia suddenly had a pang look in her eye and turned away making eye contact with Mori.
"Senpai. Please don't let Tamaki near me. He scares me." She rasped to both Hunny and Mori. Mori and Hunny both looked the frantic Tamaki who stopped making his way towards them.
"Uh…" The twins said chuckling slightly at Tamaki.
"Told her to go home." Haruhi mumbled.
" Senpai can you take me home? I don't think I can walk." Amelia said suddenly not really talking to anyone specific. She felt too exhausted to move, it was easy to assume she had a fever.
"Of course my darling daughter!" Tamaki exclaimed. Amelia groaned slightly.
"Anyone but Tamaki, please." Amelia said flatly. Tamaki went to his corner of woe mumbling something about taking care of the sick.
"We'll take you home Lia-chan." Hunny said. Looking towards Mori who nodded.
"Thank you." Amelia said. Mori walked over the sofa and picked her up.
"Uh sempai?" Amelia blushed slightly but it wasn't noticeable due to the fever.
"You said you couldn't walk." Mori said.
"Oh yeah… Thanks." Amelia said.
Amelia barely remembered anything from the car ride, though she did remember she fell asleep on Mori's shoulder.
