Ah! Has it really been that long since I last updated... Please enjoy. I feel that it's too short. Also there is a text conversations betweem Amelia and Kyoya in this chapter and I wasn't really sure how to do it so I put it in ' ' instead of ""

Amelia blankly at her computer screen. She felt utterly perplexed by Mori's actions earlier that day, or well the night before. It was the early hours of the morning. She was unable to sleep so now she was on her computer messing around with videos and trying to edit. She sighed her thoughts were still on Mori which was causing her to not be able to focus on her work she ended up giving up on it. 'Well I am bored, and there's at least one person I know that would be up at this hour.' She grabbed her phone and composed message.

'Are you up, Kyoya-kun?'

'Yes… Why?' his response came a few minutes later.

'I can't sleep. I really want to talk to someone…. I can't focus on anything. So I thought you might want to talk…' She smiled as she typed the message.

'Sure…' Kyoya

'Yay.. I'm freezing.' Amelia

'Okay… Did you want to talk about something?' Kyoya

'Maybe but I don't know. What are you doing?' Amelia

'Trying to make a budget to fit Tamaki's trip.' Kyoya

'Oh sounds kind of boring. I know it can suck. I remember a short movie I made once with a budget

For props. I could barely afford it…. Wait what trip?!' Amelia

'I'll call you.' Kyoya.

Amelia was about to type a response when her phone began to ring.

"Hi," she said cheerfully.

"You really aren't tired are you?" Kyoya asked even though it sounded more like a statement.

"Not really," Amelia laughed.

"Well if you would've been at the club today know about Tamaki's plans. Tamaki wants all to go on a trip to a hot spring resort, you included. Actually he has a secret motive behind the trip," Kyoya explained.

"Oh?"

"It's you. Tamaki is determined to find out who you like. Ever since Haruhi mentioned how you didn't really care about relationships he believes that you told her that to cover up your feelings for someone," Kyoya said.

"What?" she exclaimed.

"So you see that you'll have to figure out if you like anyone," he stated.

"Oh I get it. You're telling me this so you pay back without anyone knowing, huh?" Amelia smirked.

"Maybe," he replied.

"Let me guess they have bets on who it is?" Amelia asked.

"Tamaki's afraid it's Nekozawa-sempai, but bet on me. The twins bet Nekozawa or themselves just to scare Tamaki. Honey bets on Mori-sempai," he explained.

"Hmm… Well I could have fun with this," she giggled slightly.

"Wait you didn't bet?" she asked him.

"I don't care. Whoever wins gets a picture of you in a dress," he stated coolly.

"Wow you're so nice Kyoya. It hurts," Amelia said sarcastically.

"Whoa wait! Where the crap did you get a picture of me in a dress?" she exclaimed.

"An exhibit you went to with your parents last year," he paused, "You actually look nice in a dress."

"Kyoya… That could be taken two, well three ways," she blushed slightly.

"Take it whatever way you want," he said not fully understanding what she meant

"Do you like me Kyoya-kun?" Amelia asked him thoughtfully.

"Doesn't matter. You should have a head's up on Tamaki's plan. Good luck tricking Tamaki," Kyoya said flatly and hung up.

"Sheesh you could've at least said bye," she pouted.

"Loki, where did you go cat?" she called quietly.

Loki ran into her room from the kitchen, and jumped onto her bed with her.

"Good cat. Now let's go to sleep before I lose my sanity," she mumbled hugging her cat.

Amelia was jolted awake from her sleep by her aunt frantically talking to someone. Amelia sat up and started to get out of bed when the door suddenly burst open, and all she saw was a mess of dark brown hair before being crushed in a hug.

"How come you didn't tell your doting parents you got sick?" her father cried.

Amelia struggled to get out of her father's grasp.

"Come on dad let go. I'm going to die from suffocation if you don't," she wheezed. He let her go and took in her appearance checking to see she still was sick.

"Mae, I can't believe you didn't tell me sooner," Amelia's mother's voice drifted into her room.

"Mom! Leave Aunt Mae alone, it's not her fault," Amelia called from her room. Her mother came into her room. She walked over to Amelia and hugged her.

"Please enough with the hugging," Amelia sighed.

Her mother released her and took a step back. Mae came into the room and Amelia's mother glared pointedly at her. Their resemblance was obvious.

"Dear, quit glaring at your sister. I think your scaring Amelia," her father said. Even though in reality she was scaring him, and Amelia was just sitting on her bed trying to understand the situation. She and her aunt had both agreed not to tell them, so why were they here, and who told them. Then her mind flashed an image of someone.

"Ootori," she growled darkly causing her father jump off her bed and almost cling to his wife. Everyone in her room stared at her.

"Yes, a nice boy called and told us. He had lots of questions about you," her mother said.

"…He did?" Amelia asked. She looked ready to kill.

"Yes, you should really tell your boyfriend more about yourself," she berated.

Mae's eyes gleamed as if she would've said if in another situation 'I knew it!' and then most likely would've crushed Amelia in a hug.

"Did he say he was my boyfriend?" Amelia almost growled her eyebrow twitching slightly.

"No, but from the way he talked about you it seemed like he is," her mother replied cautiously.

"I see… So, I'm adding Ootori to my hit list," Amelia grumbled.

"Now, we need to talk about getting you taken care of Mills," Her father said as he became a little more brave since he knew that her wrath was not directed towards him.

"Yes, I can get you in for some tests this weekend at a hospital," her mother added.

Amelia swallowed. She wasn't ready to see any more hospitals for a while, but how could she get out of it. Then suddenly an idea hit her. If there was one thing about her parents, particularly her father, it was that one must keep their word no matter what.

"You know as good as that sounds, but you see I actually promised my friend I'd help them with a project," Amelia lied coolly.

"Really?" her mother asked her suspiciously.

"Yeah I promised my friend I'd stay over with them this weekend to help with the project, and I was actually going to leave in a little bit," she replied just as coolly as before.

"Oh who is this friend?" her father asked.

Amelia looked at him, 'Crap, why ask who. Damn Haruhi won't play along. Will she? No probably not but who? Well Haruhi is my only female friend let's hope for a miracle' Amelia was having a mental breakdown.

"Haruhi," she grinned and shifted nervously.

Mae stared at her perplexedly. Knowing her niece, she knew how much Amelia hated hospitals and being crammed into rooms with her parents.

"Oh yeah, I remember you mentioned that yesterday!" Mae exclaimed and winked discreetly at her niece.

"Umm…. Could you guys leave my room so I can get ready for the day and pack a bag, please," Amelia said. Everyone shuffled out of the room Mae closed the door since she was the last one out.

Amelia sighed and then dove for her phone throwing off the blankets on her bed in the process looking for it. She snatched it up and the rapidly went through her contacts to find Haruhi's number. Not that she had many contacts… She quickly called Haruhi.

"…."

"…."

"…Hello," Haruhi answered.

"Haruhi-chan! You know how much I love you right?" Amelia sang.

"Uh…. Amelia are you alright? Its morning and your singing? You're not a morning person," Haruhi replied skeptically.

"One of the reasons I love you. Anyway all things aside I need your help," Amelia said seriously.

"What is it this time?" Haruhi asked.

"Ouch that hurt I've only ever asked you for favors a couple times. Anyhow could I possibly stay with you tonight? And all of tomorrow? In fact can I stay with you till Monday?" Amelia almost begged.

"I'll have to ask, but why?" Haruhi sighed.

"I will explain everything in due time my dear Frodo… I mean Haruhi," Amelia quoted.

"Fine fine," Haruhi sighed, "I'll ask my dad."

A few minutes later.

"He said it'd be alright. In fact he was quite enthusiastic about me having a friend, and them being a girl," Haruhi said.

"Yay! I will forever love you my dear Haruhi," Amelia cheered "I'll be over in two hours."
Amelia hung up before Haruhi had the chance to reply.

"So why are you here?" Haruhi asked Amelia as they sat at table in her living room.

"Yes yes what do we owe the pleasure?" Haruhi's father explained appearing from the other room.

"Dad please don't scare her," Haruhi said.

"Oh nah he's fine. Compared to my dad nobody can really scare me," Amelia laughed and then shivered slightly.

"So what happened to a relaxing weekend at home?" Haruhi asked again.

"Ah yes I was getting there sheesh. Okay so my parents decided to randomly appear. Well it wasn't so random it appears that that Ootori called them and informed them of me being ill, he also asked a lot of questions," Amelia began to fume again.

"Eh, calm down," Haruhi said as Amelia glared daggers at her tea as if it held Kyoya's essence within.

"Oh why didn't you want to spend time with your parents?" Ranka asked.

"Uh… It's not like we were really going to be spending time together. It's always like this. Whenever I got sick they'd cart me off to a hospital then I'd spend weeks going to see different doctors. So you see I'm not actually spending time with them. Sure they're great parents wanting to take care of their daughter but come on. They've taken me to so many specialists I can't even count. No one knows what's wrong with me. No one can tell them why I get sick like I do. The only thing they've ever said is that I have a week immune system which is why I get sick like I do. I spend more time with doctors then I do my parents. My mother was ready to take me to the hospital that's why I said I had to come here. I'm sorry for using you as an escape but I don't want to deal with it," Amelia said. She looked like she was about to cry.

"Wow," Haruhi said. She looked at her father he looked about as upset as Amelia if not more.

"It's okay your welcome here anytime," Ranka suddenly exclaimed, "I will treat like a second daughter."

Amelia looked and smiled then looked over at Haruhi.

"So I've got an idea. Want to help me ruin Tamaki's plan of finding out who I'm in love with, since you know I don't have any feelings for anyone," She was suddenly looking ecstatic.

"How'd you know about that?" Haruhi asked wide eyed.

"Kyoya-kun," She sang in response.

"Okay I'm in. So what's your plan?" Haruhi asked.

"An amazing plot twist," Amelia winked.

A.N. So I meant to update over the whole break. I seriously had this written on paper in my notebook, I just kept putting off typing it. An then whenever I did get inspiration to write I started a new story... So in the process to write this chapter I started a Black Butler, Durarara, and a Hobbit Fan fics as well as worked on my first story I posted on here. I do feel horrible about not updating. I also played through two games, watched almost two entire seasons of Bleach, and all if Durarara. Oh and had to force my friend to watch all of the Lord of the Rings since I learned she had never seen any of them. And she was trying to qoute those movies when hadn't seen them *sighs* we also watched The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and the I took her to see the new one in IMAX 3D it was my second time seeing it. Just as good as the first haha.

Anyways please review it'll inspire me... Lets hope. Oh I originally intended for Amelia to ask Mori for help but then thought that wouldn't make much sense so she went Haruhi. Also I'm thinking of doing a time skip after this so I can write about the beach episode. I seriously have tons of ideas for it. The time skip would take place after the hot springs trip. Let me know your thoughts. Oh and Guess who may or may not make his grand appearance there.
