Hello there, everyone. It's me again, SuperHeroTimeFan, now returning to you with a brand new Chapter of Transformers: Possibly Prime! I am so sorry I was unable to update this story for a long time. I just had my Midterms a while back, and I was busy studying, with little time to update most of my stories. Well, here I am now, and my Grades have been raised! Chapter 5: Getting the Horns
A while after Professor Dementor attacked using his Headmaster Unit on the Decepticon Blackout, Kim was riding on Arcee throughout Middleton.
"You sure you didn't want to take that Sloth Car of yours?" Arcee asked.
Kim shrugged. "Meh," she said. "I just thought I'd spend time with you for today," Kim stated. "I mean, we stopped Dementor, found out that this Circuit Breaker is recruiting people for her Neo MECH, and we're getting more friends," Kim said as both Kim and Arcee stopped at a red light. "No big. Besides, you're all heroes to Middleton! I doubt there's not a single person here who doesn't know you."
At that moment, Bonnie rode over on a bike. "Hey, K," Bonnie said. "What's up?"
"I could ask the same thing," Kim said, looking to Bonnie's peddle bike. "Where's your car?"
"It was taken away," Bonnie said angrily. "All because I didn't feed the Stupid Parking Meter a Quarter!" she exclaimed before noticing Arcee. "Nice treads."
"Thanks," Kim said while rolling her eyes. "But that just comes to show you that you can't park just anywhere."
"But someone did!" Bonnie exclaimed. "Some Red Mustang was illegally parked, and it drove off with the Parking Boot still on before the Police could write a ticket!"
Arcee stirred up. "Did she say 'Red Mustang'?" Arcee asked Kim.
Bonnie heard this. "Did you say something?" Bonnie asked.
Kim raised an eyebrow in confusion at Bonnie. "You mean, you didn't hear?" she asked.
Bonnie shook her head. "I didn't hear anything because I was on an Island with Junior the whole month after my Car was taken," Bonnie stated. "And it looks like nothing new happened while I was away!"
"Yeah, yeah, Junior, cute," Kim said, rolling her eyes once again at the mention of her young enemy. "Now, what's this about a Red Mustang?"
Bonnie shrugged and looked to the Traffic Light. "Ugh, I missed it!" she exclaimed as the Light now turned Green. Both Kim and Bonnie went off to the side so that they could let other vehicles pass. "Anyways, this New York driver came in with a Red Mustang, one with horns on the front, and manages to get away from the Police every single time!"
"Horns?" Arcee asked once again.
"Yeah, horns," Bonnie spat. "All he says is 'You mess with Cliffjumper—'"
"'And you get the Horns!'" Arcee finished up.
Bonnie looked over to Arcee before Kim chuckled nervously. "Just a lucky guess," she said as she patted Arcee on the hood, using this chance to get Arcee to tell her what to ask. "So, where is this Car now?" Kim asked.
"For all I know, in Jasper Nevada," Bonnie said. "A red-and-blue trailer truck, a green muscle car, a yellow muscle car, a rider on a blue motorcycle just like yours and an ambulance have been spotted with it," Bonnie remarked in a bored tone. "I'm telling you, weirdest convoy I've ever seen!"
All of a sudden, the Red Mustang passed by. Kim and Bonnie turned to see three purple cars chase after it.
"Cliff!" Arcee called out, racing after the cars with Kim yelling as she was taken by surprise.
"What is going on with you, Possible?" Bonnie asked in confusion as she started to dart after Kim and Arcee.
"Whoa, Arcee!" Kim called out. "What's the matter with you?!"
"Only one Car fits the description your friend, Bunny, said," Arcee said quickly. "It's Cliffjumper! It has to be!"
"Cliffjumper?" Kim asked. "You mean your old Partner?"
"One of them, Kim," Arcee corrected. "And now that we're in the Past, I can finally save him!" Arcee exclaimed as she raced past the Vehicon Drones and towards Cliffjumper.
"Cliffjumper to Base, I need backup!" Cliffjumper called through his Comm System. "I'm in Middleton, with two Vehicons on my tail, and –" Cliffjumper was about to go on until he saw Kim on Arcee in his rearview mirror. "Arcee, you sure got here quickly," Cliffjumper mused as he saw who he thought to be the Arcee from his time. "Did you take my advice and break some Traffic Rules to get to Middleton?" Cliffjumper asked.
"Cliff, what are you talking about?" the Past Arcee asked over the Comm Systems. "I'm in Jasper, Nevada, where EVERYONE should be!"
"Well, I'm seeing you with a Human, right behind me," Cliffjumper said. "She looks just like that hero, Kim Possible."
"I don't know Kim Possible," the Past Arcee stated. "You said you're in Middleton and you need backup, right?" Arcee asked.
"Cliff, wait!" Arcee called out.
"Arcee, remember what Optimus said!" Kim yelled out. "You can't change anything here!"
"Nothing's gonna stop me from reaching Cliff!" Arcee exclaimed, driving faster.
"You leave me no choice," Kim said sternly before reaching for her Wristwatch Kimmunicator. "Ratchet, we need a Ground Bridge right now! I'll explain back at Base!" Kim yelled. "Coordinates: Edge of Farrell Street."
"Understood, Kim," Ratchet called out. "The Ground Bridge should be arriving exactly at your location."
"What are you doing?!" Arcee exclaimed. "We need to get to Cliff!"
"I'm sorry, Arcee," Kim said as she closed her eyes. "But you can't do that."
Cliffjumper caused the Vehicons chasing him to crash before noticing a Ground Bridge open up.
"Arcee, are you coming through?" Cliffjumper asked. "The other Arcee seems to be going into it."
"NOOOO!" Arcee called out as she and Kim went through the Ground Bridge. In the process, as Bonnie chased them, she was sent in too, yelling in surprise.
"Something's not right," Cliffjumper said. "Arcee, I'm heading to somewhere where we can't be caught so we can talk," Cliffjumper told the Past Arcee. "Come to my location." Cliffjumper finished up before driving off.
Unknown to anyone, LaserBeak was watching from the top of a roof. He flew towards the Soundwave from the future, and Soundwave took off back towards a Ground Bridge, where Shockwave was waiting in.
Optimus waited with the rest of the Autobots, as well as Ron, Monique, Drakken, Shego, Jack, Rafael, Miko and Sierra back at the Base as the Ground Bridge opened up. Kim came racing in on Arcee. Unknown to them, Bonnie came in and was sent flying off of her peddle bike and into some crates, but the sound of the Ground Bridge made it mute.
Arcee soon transformed and looked to Kim angrily. "What was that for?!" Arcee exclaimed angrily. "I was almost to him, I could have had a chance! You blew it for me!"
Kim shot Arcee a cold glare. "And I'm glad I did." She said sternly.
"Unless she is talking about a Decepticon who might have discovered our existence in this timeline, and I'm wrong, what's the matter?" Bumblebee asked.
"Arcee said she saw Cliffjumper from a tip from Bonnie," Kim explained. "That's why I needed the Ground Bridge, to bring her back before she could mess things up for you."
"Wait a minute, Cliffjumper?" Jack asked. He sighed before slapping his forehead. "He's alive in this time, of course!"
"What?" Ron asked.
"Wait," Monique said as Jetfire looked on in confusion. "Who's Cliffjumper? An Autobot?"
"An honorable one," Jetfire said. "He fought with all of us back on Cybertron."
"And it stands to reason that Arcee wanted to save him in this one," Optimus said, looking to Kim with a small smile before looking over towards Arcee. "But even so, Kim made a wise decision to prevent you from making contact with him, Arcee," Optimus said sternly. "We cannot pollute this timeline more than we already have."
"Believe it or not, I know how you feel, Arcee," Knockout said. "Breakdown was killed by Airachnid, but even if Airachnid were here by now, and not after she made her crash-landing, I wouldn't stop her to save Breakdown's life. Things have been fine ever since he died, and things have been fine for you too."
"I can't believe I'm actually agreeing with Knockout," Ratchet said with surprise. "Seeing Cliffjumper in this time and wanting to save him is a strong temptation. However, we cannot let that temptation get the best of us and get in the way of what's important."
Ultra Magnus nodded. "You should know better, Arcee," the Autobot Elite Guard Commander said. "Cliffjumper died for you, and getting him to live could cause disaster in the future."
Knockout was just about to speak up again until he and Smokescreen heard something coming from the corner.
"What is that?" Shego asked as she lit of one of her hands.
"Don't be a Scraplet, don't be a swarm of Scraplets!" Bulkhead begged.
"What's a Scraplet?" Ron asked. "A-are we and Sierra the only ones who don't have a clue as to what's going on?!" Ron asked.
"I'm not taking any chances," Wheeljack said as he unsheathed his katanas from his back. "No Scraplet is gonna tear us to pieces!"
The crates soon started to shake, causing everyone to get ready to fight while others hid away.
"Wait," Kim said, holding up her hands to get everyone to stand down. "That's no Scraplet," Kim stated as Bonnie came out. "That's Bonnie!"
"How'd she get in here?" Smokescreen asked.
"I'll give you a hint." Arcee said sternly as she looked towards Bonnie's peddle bike, now crushed upon Bonnie's crash.
"Wait," Miko said. "The mean girl who was stuck in High School after you, Ron and Monique graduated?" Miko asked.
"Seems like it, Miko," Kim said before looking to Bonnie. "Do you think she heard everything?"
"Allow me to erase her memory." Shego replied as she lit up both of her hands.
Bonnie looked over to Shego with surprise before Optimus got in the way. "Shego, stand down," he ordered as he looked to Bonnie. "She means no harm."
Bonnie looked up to Optimus, and out of surprise, she immediately fainted.
"Will she be okay?" Raf asked.
"Give her some hours, and she'll come to," Kim said as she lifted Bonnie up before Optimus placed Bonnie onto a couch. "And get me a bucket of ice-cold water," Kim added on. "She'll need some in case she faints again when she wakes up."
Meanwhile, in Jasper, Nevada, Cliffjumper drove towards a hidden base, where the Arcee of the Past drove in as well. Behind them, the doors closed, and once they were sealed all the way, Cliffjumper and the Past Arcee transformed.
"What did you want to talk about?" the Past Arcee asked.
"It's what I'm concerned about," Cliffjumper stated. "You said you weren't in Middleton, but I saw you, with two Humans, and trust me when I say that they specifically mentioned Ratchet, using a Ground Bridge, and, to add to that, the Kim Possible Human called her bike 'Arcee'," Wheeljack said. "I don't know if these are Pretenders we're dealing with, or something, but the Arcee I saw back there… she was definitely Arcee."
Arcee sighed. "Did you confirm this with Base?" Arcee asked.
"Everyone said they didn't know who Kim Possible was," Cliffjumper said. "But I need to know if you're real, or if you're hiding something away from us."
"I'm not hiding anything," Arcee said with reassurance. "What about Agent Fowler? What does he have to report?"
Cliffjumper sighed. "I contacted him," Cliff said. "And he mentioned that he was somehow able to talk with an organization, Earth Military, called MASK, but it wasn't him," Cliffjumper stated. "It was wiped off, but right now, I need to know what we're dealing with here, because while I was being chased by two Vehicons, you were somewhere in Cleveland, I was in Middleton, and somehow, you were too!"
Arcee from the Past just sighed out of exhaustion once again. "Are you done?" the Past Arcee asked.
Cliffjumper nodded. "Yeah," he said. "I am."
"After being in Cleveland, I went back to Jasper," the Past Arcee stated. "All I did there was patrol the highways, see two Humans move in, and when there weren't any Decepticons in the area, I went back to Base, in Jasper," Arcee told Cliffjumper slowly. "Yeah, I could have never been in Middleton, or else, probably even worse, even, I would have a twin."
"Yeah, the Arcee Twins, a catchy name." Cliffjumper teased.
The Past Arcee chuckled. "Yeah, well, Optimus will need an update on our activity," the Past Arcee told Cliffjumper. "I'll head back to Base while you go and try to get all of this out of your systems," the Past Arcee ordered. "Either you might be right about this, or you've run too many Red Lights."
Cliffjumper chuckled before the two raced out of the warehouse, Cliffjumper heading back to Middleton and the Past Arcee heading back to the Autobot Base in Jasper, Nevada.
As this was happening, Soundwave retuned to the Dimension he was once trapped in, where Shockwave was waiting for him.
"Do you have anything on this timeline?" Shockwave asked Soundwave as the Decepticon Scout transformed into Robot Mode.
Soundwave sent a silent nod to Shockwave before he let LaserBeak detach from his chest.
LaserBeak started to show Shockwave everything he found out while in Middleton of 2007. Shockwave watched as Kim and Ron drove around in the Sloth Car before seeing new Autobots like Jetfire come into play as he flew with Monique inside of him.
"I must find out where the Predacon Fossils in this time may be," Shockwave said to Soundwave. "Ever since Unicron attacked, I must do everything I can to stop him. We must amass an army to take him down before he can wreak havoc for us all in the future."
Soundwave nodded as Sideways drove in with some Predacon Fossils in his Vehicle Mode. He emptied them out before transforming into Robot Mode.
"So, Unicron's laying dormant in Earth's surface?" Sideways asked.
"Yes," Shockwave replied before looking to the Fossils. "Megatron will return, but he will be utilizing the Blood of Unicron in him," Shockwave explained. "When an alignment occurs, Unicron will come to life, and be defeated by Optimus before taking possession of Megatron," Shockwave went on. "Because of that, several Decepticons will die, the Predacons lying in Peace on Cybertron will be desecrated, and the Decepticons will be disbanded," he added on before another Ground Bridge opened up, leading to a laboratory. "The Harbinger still remains here, so my work can still be done," Shockwave stated before he placed some Fossils onto a table. "We will have a future where the Decepticons rule, and the Autobots will be no more." Shockwave said before starting to get to work.
Meanwhile, aboard the Nemesis, Starscream waited with the Soundwave of the Present time for LaserBeak to return.
"Lord Megatron will not be pleased to learn of this new disturbance," Starscream said as he paced back and forth. "I would request he come back from his Mission to the Stars so that he can take care of this himself, but he is amassing an army while our Decepticon Forces are disappearing every nanosecond!"
Soundwave just stood silently while other Vehicon Drones in the room went to work faster than before.
"Now, where is Barricade?" Starscream asked, feeling a bit calmer.
"You summoned me, Commander Starscream?" A voice asked as the door to the Bridge opened. Out came a muscular Decepticon in black. On his shoulders were Police Car Doors, and on the doors was the Decepticon Insignia, showing his true loyalty to the Decepticon Cause.
"Ah, Barricade," Starscream said with somewhat delight before LaserBeak returned and reattached himself onto Soundwave's chest. "For the past week, Sideways and Mirage have disappeared, Blackout getting controlled by a Human, and signs of Autobots being reported in Middleton," Starscream explained. He looked towards LaserBeak as Soundwave started to show footage of what had been going on. "Knockout seems to be with them," Starscream went on, showing Knockout with Smokescreen and Ultra Magnus. "I'm not sure if he's undercover or has switched sides for no reason, but a recent signing has shown a two-wheeler Autobot in two places at the same time," Starscream stated as he showed Arcee in both Middleton and in Jasper, Nevada. "Nonetheless, we can't have Lord Megatron enraged by this when he returns, so I want you to go and check out Middleton to see if anything's out of the ordinary."
"Will do," Barricade said with a nod. "While I'm down there, I'll let the rest of our hidden Decepticons know about the situation, and see if they can do anything about it." Barricade said before leaving the Bridge.
As soon as Barricade left, Starscream groaned once again and scowled. "If Knockout really did turn against us, I will send our Field Agent to eliminate him," Starscream said to Soundwave. "And I want surveillance over these Humans," Starscream added on as Soundwave showed him footage of Kim, Ron, Monique, and Shego in battle alongside the Autobots. "If that fails, I will take care of our problem myself." Starscream concluded darkly.
The next morning, at the Autobot Base in Middleton, Bonnie was still unconscious. She slowly started to open her eyes before feeling herself in stitches. She looked around in confusion before getting up.
"Yip, yip, yip, yip, yip," Ratchet's voice called out, getting Bonnie to stop. "Don't hurt yourself more than you already have," Ratchet reprimanded. "You seemed to have made quite a landing there, even breaking your bike. I only cured a Human once, but be grateful you haven't been infected with a virus."
Bonnie raised an eyebrow as Kim, Ron and Monique walked up to her.
"Good to see you're not dead," Monique said. "We never even saw you coming."
Bonnie furrowed her brow in confusion. "What are you guys going here?" She asked.
"We could ask you the same thing," Jack's voice came out. "Considering all the trouble you caused for Kim and her friends."
Bonnie turned her head to see Jack, Raf, Miko and Sierra walking towards her.
"Can someone please tell me what's going on here?!" Bonnie finally snapped.
"You are currently in an Autobot Base," came the voice of Optimus Prime. "You arrived… uninvited." The Prime added on sternly.
Bonnie stuttered at the sight of Optimus Prime. She was about to faint again until water was blasted at her face. She gasped before seeing Kim with a hose in her hands.
"Looks like you were right," Jetfire said as he and the rest of the Autobots started to come closer. "Water does help Humans wake up."
"What is going on?!" Bonnie exclaimed. "Where am I?!"
"As I said before, you are currently in an Autobot Base," Optimus said. "We are Autobots, Autonomous Cybernetic Beings from the Planet, Cybertron, and though it may not look like it, from the Future as well."
"Our task is to protect all Humans from the Decepticons," Ultra Magnus went on. "No one must know we are from another Time."
Bonnie scoffed. "Aliens?" She asked. "The last ones who came here tried to destroy the Planet, and you claim you want to save it?"
"Hear me, Bonnie Rockwaller," Optimus said sternly. "We are not like the Lowardian Aliens who lay ruination to Earth," Optimus Prime said sternly. "Autobots do not take Human Lives, but the Decepticon Forces will not hesitate to do so."
"We are all about protecting human life," Bumblebee stated. "We never give up on anyone."
"In our time, the Lowardians are our enemies too," Knockout said. "Both Autobots and even the Decepticons despise them, so trust me, the feeling's mutual."
Bonnie scoffed and looked to Knockout carefully. "How do you go around without catching attention?" Bonnie asked.
"Just watch," Kim said as she sat down next to Bonnie. "You just might learn something here."
The Autobots all started to transform into their Vehicle Modes. Bonnie's jaw dropped before they transformed back into Robot Mode.
"Humans refer to us as 'Transformers'," Arcee stated. "The name fits."
"I can see why," Bonnie remarked. "That red one resembles my old car."
"The name's 'Knockout'," Knockout spat back. "And if that's true, why come in on a trike?"
"It got towed," Kim said before turning her attention back to Bonnie. "But that Red Mustang, that was an Autobot."
"And his name is Cliffjumper," Arcee stated. "My Partner."
"Former Partner," Bulkhead corrected. "Nasty 'Con named Starscream slagged him before the Decepticon Leader known as Megatron turned him into a, what Miko likes to call it, zombie."
"Yikes!" Bonnie exclaimed.
Ratchet sighed. "We're not going to let her be a Part of Team Prime, are we?" He asked Optimus. "We have enough Humans here as it is."
Bonnie raised an eyebrow in confusion before Jack stepped up. "You see, Bonnie, each Autobot has a Human Partner," Jack explained. "I'm with Arcee, our only female Autobot."
"We've met," Arcee said as she placed her hand on her hip. "You just didn't see me for who I really was."
"My Autobot Partner is Bumblebee," Raf spoke up. "He had his Voice Box ripped out, but it got fixed."
"Um, what?" Bonnie asked.
"Trust me, you don't want to know." Bumblebee said with reassurance.
Bonnie nodded before Miko came over with Bulkhead. "Bulky's my Partner!" She exclaimed. "We share lots of things in common."
"More than you know." Bulkhead said.
"Sierra over there is with Wheeljack," Ron pointed out as Sierra stood next to Wheeljack. "She's new, just like you."
"Hey." Sierra said.
"What's up?" Wheeljack finished up.
"Monique's partnered with Jetfire, our newest Autobot." Optimus said as he gestured to Monique with Jetfire behind her.
"Humans are really quite interesting," Jetfire mused as he looked to Bonnie. "This one's bitter than the others."
Bonnie scowled before looking to Optimus. "So, you all came from the Future, right?" Bonnie asked.
"We were chasing a member of an organization called MECH," Ratchet explained. "Her name was Circuit Breaker, and she's been causing trouble in this time."
Bonnie nodded. "Okay, so Autobots from the Future, Circuit Breaker, and Decepticons who are bent on domination," Bonnie said to herself. "Autobots from the Future, Circuit Breaker and MECH, and evil Decepticons, both Aliens are actually Robots in Disguise." Bonnie said to herself before she found herself repeating everything she was told.
"Doctor Drakken, will she be okay?" Optimus asked.
"Um, yeah," Drakken said as Bonnie began to wander the Base and continue repeating everything she was told. "Give her a couple of days, and she'll be fine."
Arcee sighed. "Good," she said. "Now, what do we do about Cliff?"
Before anyone could respond, Kim stepped up. "How about we go on Patrol, try to get it off of your mind?" Kim suggested.
Arcee nodded and transformed into Motorcycle Mode. Kim got onto her before the two raced out of the Base through a tunnel.
In Downtown Middleton, Cliffjumper was driving as well.
"I couldn't have seen Arcee if she were in Jasper," Cliffjumper told himself. "I'd be going crazy," he added on before going down a road around the corner. "Maybe Arcee's right about this, maybe I do need to get this out of my system." Cliffjumper told himself again.
"Arcee, I may not know how you feel," Kim said to the real Arcee as they rode somewhere not too far from where Cliffjumper was. "But no matter how much you want to do this, you can't make contact with Cliffjumper," Kim reminded. "Optimus knows what's best."
"He also flew right into the Core of Cybertron to preserve life, and died, so I'm not sure what to think anymore," Arcee replied back. "Sorry, Kim, but that's just what my Line of Code says to me."
Kim sighed as they stopped at a Red Light. "Just make the right decision, please." Kim begged to Arcee before alongside them came a Police Car.
Inside of the Police Car, a man lowered the window, looking to Kim sternly, seeming to catch his attention.
Kim looked over to the Policeman and raised the visor on her helmet. "Wanna see my Driver's Permit?" She asked. Kim suddenly gasped as she saw the purple devilish Insignia of the Decepticons on the hood of the Police Car reveal itself.
"Arcee?" Kim asked nervously.
"I see it!" Arcee exclaimed, running through the Red Light and driving away.
The Policeman scoffed and fizzed away before Barricade drove off, chasing after them with his sirens blaring.
"Know him?" Kim asked. "Is he from Kaon like Mirage?"
"Barricade," Arcee explained. "Formerly good-willed Cybertronian Security Officer before he joined Megatron in his conquest for Power," Arcee explained to Kim. "And he's taking the Power of the Law into his own hands!"
"Attention, all Units," Barricade said through his radio. "Kim Possible is riding on the Autobot known as Arcee after running a red light and assaulting me," Barricade made up. "Suspect is heavily armed and considered very dangerous. Recommend use of excessive force!"
As Cliffjumper was driving not too far away, he heard the sirens. "Barricade!" He exclaimed before racing off. "Cliffjumper to Base, I need—"
Cliffjumper was about to go on until he took notice of Kim came racing through on Arcee in front of him.
"Cliff? What is it?" The Past Arcee asked with concern.
"I saw her again!" Cliffjumper exclaimed as Barricade raced by. "I'm not going haywire, what I saw was real!" He exclaimed before driving after Barricade. "I don't need backup, I'm going to solve this once and for all!"
Kim and Arcee continued to race throughout Middleton before Kim activated her Wristwatch Kimmunicator and spoke through it. "All Units, if you got a report about me, it was from a Decepticon," Kim reported. "That Decepticon is the very same Police Car chasing me! When he gets into view, take him down!"
At that minute, Barricade formed a cannon on his hood and shot at Kim and Arcee as they raced under a bridge.
"Quick! Fire back!" Kim yelled to Arcee.
"Part of being a Robot in Disguise is not to have weapons in Alt Vehicle Mode!" Arcee exclaimed.
"Then what about Jetfire?!" Kim argued.
"Fighter Jet, Kim! Fighter Jet!" Arcee argued back as they entered a tunnel, Cliffjumper flowing them from behind.
"Use that arm of yours! Send the blast back!" Arcee explained to Kim.
"Not wearing the Battlesuit!" Kim yelled. "I didn't think I'd need it on a normal day!" She exclaimed before they came out, now on top of a viaduct. "We're in trouble, aren't we?" Kim asked.
Arcee transformed and held her hand to her head as Barricade started to close in on them. "Comms are jammed," Arcee reported. "We're on our own!"
Kim got into a fighting stance as Barricade attempted to run them down. Before he could reach them, Cliffjumper raced at him, knocking Barricade off-course before transforming.
Kim looked to Cliffjumper and gasped before Arcee gasped as well.
"Cliff!" Arcee called out.
"Arcee, is that you?" Cliffjumper asked with concern.
"This breaks rules on so many levels!" Kim exclaimed.
Barricade regained himself and transformed into Robot Mode as well.
"Arcee, it's been a while," Barricade said as he readied a saw on his arm. "And with Cliffjumper too, I see. What a surprise."
"Barricade, today's just full of surprises!" Cliffjumper spat at the Decepticon. "Go tell Megatron he's never going to win, because when you mess with Cliffjumper, you get the horns!"
"Oh, I miss hearing you say that!" Arcee exclaimed with joy.
"Past-tense instead of Present-tense," Cliffjumper noted with a grin. "I knew you weren't an evil clone, but I didn't expect you to be from the Future."
"Arcee, he knows!" Kim exclaimed in a singsong voice.
"Yeah, I've noticed," Arcee said as she readied her blades before turning to Cliffjumper and sighing sadly. "I'll explain after, but right now, Barricade can't know about me. Understood, Partner?" Arcee asked.
"You've got it, Partner," Cliffjumper replied back. "He's not leaving when he knows your secret."
Barricade chuckled. "I intend to leave one way or another to let Lord Starscream know what's going on," he spat before aiming his cannon at the three. "And Lord Megatron will make sure you go offline." He added on before taking his shot.
Arcee and Cliffjumper both got out of the way before Kim held out a Cybertronian Relic in front of her. As soon as the Blast hit, the Apex Armor transformed onto her, and once she was donned, Kim pounded her fists together.
"I love it when they run," Barricade said with a laugh. "But I hate it when they fight." He added on before blasting at Kim.
"You took the Apex Armor?!" Arcee exclaimed.
"You have the Apex Armor?!" Cliffjumper exclaimed.
"Wade's fixing the Battlesuit! I asked Miko to use the Apex Armor!" Kim exclaimed. "She said yes, and I'm seeing why she loves this!" Kim exclaimed before running towards Barricade.
Arcee and Cliffjumper started to fire upon Barricade while Kim body-slammed the Decepticon when she was close enough. Barricade gasped and got out of the way before Arcee started to attack him with her blades. Barricade struck back with his saw before Cliffjumper blasted at Barricade in the back.
"Arcee, we're picking up Decepticon Energy near your location!" Ratchet called out to Arcee.
"I know, it's Barricade," Arcee replied back. "Cliffjumper's here too and helping me."
"What?!" Ratchet exclaimed. "Didn't Optimus tell you NOT to make contact with him?!"
"Line of Code, Ratch, I was doing what my Line of Code was telling me!" Arcee argued back.
"Is that Ratchet?" Cliffjumper asked. "Boy, he sounds grumpy!"
"I heard that!" Ratchet exclaimed back at the Base. Ratchet sighed before pulling up a screen of the battle from a camera on the viaduct. "I also see that Kim is using the Apex Armor," Ratchet added on. "What other surprises are there?"
"Barricade overheard us!" Kim exclaimed through the Comms inside of the Apex Armor. "If we let him go, he'll let that Starscream Decepticon know about us, but if we kill him, Starscream will get suspicious."
Drakken started to type away while Jack, Ron, Miko and Sierra helped Bonnie to calm down. "Can you try and get a scan of Barricade?" Drakken asked.
"What good will that do, Drakken?!" Arcee exclaimed as she backflipped away from Barricade as he sent more blasts towards her. Kim got in front of Arcee and defended her while Cliffjumper jumped into the air and punched Barricade, sending him to the edge.
"If we can get Barricade's specs, we can upload a virus into him," Drakken explained. "Let him go back to Starscream! If we can get that virus uploaded into him, it will disorient him, making him sound delusional," Drakken went further on. "My BeBe Bots once had that in them during my College Years, and if I can hack Barricade, then I can probably cause him to malfunction, and by the time he reports to Starscream, he won't be able to speak properly. Starscream will probably think Barricade's crazy!"
"Like that same virus Ratchet put into LaserBeak with a grenade inside of Soundwave?" Arcee asked Drakken.
"Yes, but without the Decoy." Ratchet said.
"Turducken!" Raf called out.
"Yes, I can see how that's like a Turducken," Drakken commented. "Anyways, take that scan!"
"A scan of Barricade for a virus upload?" Cliffjumper asked quietly. "I think I can distract him long enough for you to do that!"
"Thanks, Cliff!" Arcee exclaimed as Cliffjumper and Kim ran towards Barricade.
"Hope you're right about this, guys," Arcee said as she aimed her blaster at Barricade. Kim and Cliffjumper held him at bay as Arcee began to scan Barricade. "Commencing Scan now," she announced. "Ratch, Drakken, do your thing!"
"You're not getting away!" Barricade called out as he shot some missiles towards Kim and Cliffjumper.
Kim Possible and Cliffjumper leapt through each of the missiles before Kim slid towards him on the ground, knocking some dirt into his eyes.
Barricade yelled in pain before Cliffjumper rammed his head into the Decepticon. After doing so, Cliffjumper sent a punch towards Barricade and then blasted him in the head.
Barricade growled and shot some blasts at Cliffjumper, but Kim picked Barricade right off of the ground and threw him towards Cliffjumper, who sent more and more punches at him before Kim got a chance to kick Barricade. Barricade sliced at Kim's legs, causing her to fall before Barricade got right back up.
"Almost done…" Arcee said as she aimed her blaster at Barricade.
"Trying to get a clean shot at me?" Barricade questioned as he brought his blades down onto Kim and Cliffjumper. Kim and Cliffjumper held Barricade's hands before he laughed. "Your two-wheeler friend won't get the chance!"
"And done!" Arcee called out.
"Uploading virus now!" Raf called out as he, Jim and Tim typed away at the computers.
Arcee let a blast out from her cannon, heading towards Barricade. Barricade attempted to dodge it, but Kim held him in place while Cliffjumper managed to punch him in the chest.
"Virus uploaded!" Drakken said to Ratchet.
"Here we go!" Ratchet said as he pressed a button on the console.
Another blast came from Arcee's cannon as the first one missed Barricade. As Barricade managed to get free from Kim's grasp, he was suddenly shot in the head, where his systems started to go static.
"What is this?!" Barricade yelled out. "I can't… process properly!"
"You wanted to know about us?" Arcee asked as Cliffjumper and Kim walked up next to her. "Go tell Starscream, see if he'll believe you."
"I will!" Barricade exclaimed before a Ground Bridge opened up. "This isn't over!" he exclaimed before falling through.
"Wait," Cliffjumper said as everyone looked through the Ground Bridge. "That's not Starscream!"
"Shockwave?! Soundwave?!" Arcee exclaimed, seeing Shockwave, Soundwave and Sideways at the other side of the Ground Bridge.
All three Decepticons said nothing before the Ground Bridge closed up.
"Other Decepticons?" Kim asked.
"You blinded him!" Cliffjumper exclaimed to Arcee. "How is he still—"
"Stuff from the future," Arcee replied. "It's hard to process."
Kim chuckled and removed the Apex Armor, walking next to Arcee and chuckling. Arcee looked back to Kim and chuckled as well.
"We've all gotta bend the rules sometimes." Arcee said.
"Yes, we do." Kim replied back.
Just then, Arcee's Comms went off. Cliffjumper looked to Arcee as she placed her hand to her head.
"Arcee, I understand you have made contact with Cliffjumper," Optimus Prime said. "Am I correct?"
Arcee sighed. "Yes, Optimus, Sir," Arcee replied back. "Kim tried to stop me, but I—"
"Optimus, please don't punish her," Kim called out. "I-it was a temptation. Think of how everything will play out later for you guys. You probably won't see me, Ron, Rufus, Monique, Drakken or Shego again, and think of what this is for Arcee, please." Kim begged.
"Optimus, please," Arcee asked as Optimus spoke with her from the Base. "This could possibly be my one and only time to talk with Cliff ever again," Arcee stated. "Wouldn't you want to have one day to be with Megatron if he didn't become Leader of the Decepticons yet, or even have at least a day to be with Alpha Trion before he perishes?" Arcee asked.
Optimus Prime sighed back at the Base. "I see what you mean, Arcee," he said. "I order you to bring Kimberly Ann Possible back to Base…" Optimus started out.
Arcee looked like she were going to cry if she were human. Kim looked like she was going to cry as well as they all waited for what Optimus had to say.
"So that you and Cliffjumper can have one day," Optimus finished up, getting Kim, Arcee and Cliffjumper to smile. "I will not extend it further, and you can only do this as long as you do not get noticed by your Past Selves. Am I clear?"
"Yes, Sir," Arcee replied happily. "Thank you, Optimus, Sir."
Jack smiled back at Base, as well as Optimus. "Your One Day will start the minute you bring back Kim Possible," he said. "Do we have an agreement, Arcee?"
Arcee chuckled softly. "Yes, Sir," she said. Arcee looked down to Kim and transformed into Vehicle Mode, as well as Cliffjumper. "Well, you heard the man," Arcee said to Kim. "Hop on. I want to have a good time with Cliff."
Kim chuckled and got onto Arcee before the two took off back to the Autobot Base.
In Middleton, Cliffjumper waited outside of the Autobot Base while Arcee dropped Kim off.
"I'll be back before you know it," Arcee said to Kim and Jack. "This is my one time to be with Cliffjumper again."
"I understand, Arcee," Jack said. "Don't mess up."
"Have fun, Arcee," Kim said happily while sending a small salute. "And no pressure."
"Hey, like you say, Kim," Arcee said with a chuckle. "'No big.'" Arcee quipped before driving off.
Kim chuckled as she hugged Ron before watching Arcee and Cliffjumper drive off.
"Cliff, are you there?" the Past Arcee asked Cliffjumper through his Comms. "Did you have a little trouble there? Did you settle things with that twin you were talking about?"
"Everything's settled, Arcee," Cliffjumper replied back. "Just need to patrol some more. I'll come back in a day."
"Okay, Cliff," the Past Arcee said with a chuckle. "Stay out of trouble." The Past Arcee teased before signing off.
"Can't believe I was like that." Arcee mused as she and Cliffjumper drove along.
"Heh," Cliffjumper chuckled. "She won't know a thing," he stated. "Now, tell me everything. I want to know what happens."
Arcee stopped and drove in front of Cliffjumper. "Are you sure you want to know?" Arcee asked. "We can't affect the time stream."
"Too late for that, I'm afraid," Cliffjumper teased. "If I'm involved with it, I promise that I won't let anyone know, and I'll let everything play out like it's supposed to."
Arcee sighed. "Okay," she said. "I'll start from the beginning," she said before the two drove off again. "Three months after you and I arrived from Cybertron, you're going to pick up a large Energon Reading," Arcee started to explain. "You go over to investigate it…"
Arcee and Cliffjumper drove up towards a part of Jasper, Nevada, making sure that no one else was watching them.
"You attempted to take on the Vehicon Drones alone, but you got dragged onto the Nemesis," Arcee went on, as Cliffjumper seemed to be in shock. "All I know when we had Starscream prisoner was that he extinguished you, and the last thing I saw of you was… a Terracon, a desecrated being brought back from the Dead with the Blood of Unicron, Dark Energon," Arcee explained. "When I saw you, you… you weren't yourself."
"That's deep," Cliffjumper noted. "Outnumbered and outgunned."
"Sounds like a fair fight, right?" Arcee asked.
"How did you deal with it?" Cliffjumper asked. "How did you deal with Starscream when you and he crossed paths?"
Arcee sighed as they started to drive again. "I… almost killed him," she said sadly. "Then I remembered what you said about a fair fight, and I let him go," Arcee said before pausing for a moment. "I know what you'd say; 'puny', right?"
"Not at all," Cliffjumper replied. "That was brave of you. You didn't get revenge, you just let it go."
"I could have ended him whenever we crossed paths, even when his T-Cog was stolen," Arcee stated. "But I didn't."
"So, aside from my death," Cliffjumper interceded. "What's it like in the Future? What's happened?"
Arcee chuckled as they drove towards an empty area before both transforming.
"Your death inspired us all to keep fighting," Arcee explained. "We lost the Autobot Base, but after, Bumblebee used the Star Saber to kill Megatron, and we managed to restore Cybertron to its glory," Arcee explained. "With that victory, we worked to rebuild, but Megatron came back, possessed by Unicron, and he nearly destroyed Cybertron has Optimus not trapped him inside of the AllSpark."
"The AllSpark?" Cliffjumper asked. "He sacrificed it?"
"Mm-hmm," Arcee replied. "But he put all of the Sparks in it into himself, and sacrificed himself for Cybertron's safety, so Primus could create new life," Arcee explained. "A while later, we came back to Earth, found a member of an organization called MECH stealing a form of Optimus called Nemesis Prime, we tracked her down, and, well," Arcee chuckled. "You know how it goes from there. Time-travel seven years into the Past."
Cliffjumper nodded. "I see," he said. "And all this happened after I died?"
Arcee nodded. "Yes, it did," she replied back. "But even with this knowledge, we can't change the Past, or else, everything in the Future will change."
Cliffjumper sighed. "I understand," he said before looking to Arcee with a smile. "Thank you, Arcee," Cliffjumper said after a while. "This has been a pleasure, but before I head back, I need to ask you something."
"What's that?"
"Can you show me how big the cause I'm dying for is?" Cliff asked. "I want to know how many lives are saved when I'm gone, and when you move on."
Arcee looked to Cliffjumper and nodded. "Come with me," she said, transforming back into Vehicle Mode. "But you can't change anything that happens," Arcee said before pausing. "I can't change anything that will happen." She said to herself before driving off.
Cliffjumper nodded and transformed back into Vehicle Mode, driving off after Arcee.
Later that night, Arcee arrived at the Autobot Base with Cliffjumper. As they drove, Cliffjumper looked up to the Autobots with awe. He was astonished by the upgrade that Optimus had as Optimus Prime, Kim Possible, Bulkhead and Jack looked down to him before Cliffjumper's interest was peaked at the sight of Jetfire with Ultra Magnus and Smokescreen, as well as with Wheeljack.
Arcee and Cliffjumper both stopped and transformed as all of the Autobots crowded around them.
"This is the big cause I'm dying for, huh?" Cliffjumper asked.
"Yeah," Bumblebee said, surprising Cliffjumper. Cliffjumper turned to Bumblebee as Bumblebee sent him a smile. "Great to see you again, Cliff."
"Bumblebee, your voice!" Cliffjumper exclaimed. "You got your pipes back!"
"Yeah, it surprised me too," Bumblebee stated. "I must say, the day I got my Voice back was one of the best days of my life."
Cliffjumper nodded before he took notice of Knockout.
"Whoa!" he exclaimed, activating a cannon. "He a Prisoner for you or something?" Cliffjumper asked.
"Knockout has joined our Autobot Ranks," Optimus explained. "He has proven himself worthy after helping to defeat Unicron with me."
"I've never met you before, Cliffjumper," Knockout said. "But it's an honor to meet you."
"And it's mine too," Jack spoke up, causing Cliffjumper to look down. "After you died, I became Arcee's new Partner, and none of us have ever stopped thinking about you."
"You're always going to be remembered, Cliffjumper," Kim said. "I don't know much about you, but I do know that you mean a lot to the Autobots."
Cliffjumper smiled. "Thank you, Kim Possible." He said.
Arcee smiled before patting Cliff on the shoulder. "Our Past Selves must be wondering where you are," Arcee said. "Remember to let everything play out the way it's supposed to, Partner."
Cliffjumper nodded. "I'll give them the horns," he said with a salute. "Trust me."
Arcee smiled before Cliffjumper started to make his way towards the door. Everyone smiled at him, especially Arcee, whose smile was bigger than everyone else's. Cliffjumper smiled back with a salute before transforming into Vehicle Mode and driving off.
As soon as Cliffjumper left, Kim and Jack looked to Arcee, seeing her wipe something from her eyes.
"I didn't think Autobots could cry," Jack mused. "Everything alright, Arcee?"
"I'm fine, don't worry," Arcee said before her voice started to break. "This was just the last day I could ever see him again."
"Hey," Kim spoke up. "Look for red cars illegally parked," Kim joked. "You're sure to find him."
Arcee chuckled and started to get to work as all of the Autobots went back to what they were doing.
As Cliffjumper drove back to the Autobot Base in Jasper, Nevada, he started to take a detour.
"Don't think I couldn't see it, Arcee," Cliffjumper said to himself sadly. "You're going to miss me," he said somberly. "And I'll be there for you, I promise."
Cliffjumper drove towards an old Autobot Ship that he found and transformed into Robot Mode, looking around in each room.
"I know it's here somewhere," Cliffjumper said to himself before coming across a room with several blank bodies in it. "Protoforms," Cliffjumper finally said with a smile. "I made a promise not to change the timeline for you, Arcee, but I won't be the one to play everything out." He said before getting some Energon out from his body.
A couple days later, in the Present of 2014, Agent Fowler and June Darby continued to work on making their own Ground Bridge to try to get to the Past.
"How long do you suppose this will take, Agent Fowler?" June asked. "Ratchet left instructions on how to make a Space Bridge, but didn't everyone disappear when there were three of them?"
Agent Fowler sighed. "We're working with what we have, June," William stated. "And with the use of the Cybertronian Tech, we can certainly make a Bridge to the Past."
June sighed as she looked to a soldier putting in the final piece. "Well, here goes nothing." June said to herself before activating the Ground Bridge.
The Ground Bridge soon opened up, and in it, was Middleton in the Year of 2007.
"Can I be the test subject?" a voice asked.
Agent Fowler and June turned around to see someone come through the doors. They both gasped.
"Well, I'll be a Bald Eagle!" Fowler exclaimed.
Back in 2007, Kim, Ron, Monique, Shego, Jack, Raf, Miko and Sierra all watched as Bonnie started to adjust better with the Autobots.
"Who do you think Bonnie's best with?" Miko asked.
"She seems to be taking a liking for Knockout," Shego pointed out. "So why not put them together?"
Optimus nodded. "We will give Bonnie a chance," he stated. "We will let her join Team Possible Prime only if she is up to it."
Just then, a Space Bridge opened up. Everyone turned to see it glow blue before a figure walked through. When the figure came out, everyone gaped.
"No way!" Bumblebee exclaimed.
Cliffjumper stood before all of them, smiling proudly.
"Cliff?" Arcee asked. She laughed happily. "What are you doing back here? You didn't tell anyone about what we told you, did you?"
"Never did," Cliffjumper replied back. "But when I told Agent Fowler and June about what had happened back seven years into the Future about what had happened, they almost didn't believe me."
All of the Autobots gaped in surprise.
"Cliffjumper from the Future?!" Ratchet exclaimed with his jaw dropped. "Well, now I've seen everything."
"Wait, Cliff?!" Arcee exclaimed once again, this time in surprise. "You're alive?!" she exclaimed. "You were poisoned by Dark Energon!"
"Technically I was, technically I wasn't," Cliffjumper replied. "You see, after I saw you in the Past, I went back to the Autobot Base in Jasper, but made a little detour…"
One week ago…
I remembered an abandoned Autobot Ship that crashed, and I found some Protoforms inside. "I made a promise not to change the timeline for you, Arcee, but I won't be the one to play everything out."
I cloned myself with one of the Protoforms, and to make sure that the timeline wasn't corrupted, I programmed my copy to ensure that it would play everything out before I shut myself down. My signal was offline for the time until my Clone died.
"Never mind him! I am my OWN Master!" Starscream yelled to Cliffjumper's Clone before stabbing him in the chest.
Once my Clone went offline, I came back online, and watched everything else happen.
"Optimus didn't send me, and no one's asking for your help."
"Okay, so if we both agree that I'm not warrior material, then why are you here?"
"Jack, you know I just lost someone I cared about. Maybe it's the grief talking, maybe you're growing on me, maybe it's the fact that when you left, it felt like my spark was breaking. But whatever it is, I'm just not ready to say goodbye."
I could tell you had moved on with Jack, and I was proud of you. I remained hidden, masking my signature, and watching as everything happened, and heard all that had taken place.
"Optimus Prime to all Units: Megatron is no more!" Optimus called out through the comlinks as Cliffjumper rested outside of the Unit:E Base.
After everything on Cybertron with Unicron took place, I decided to come to you, to come to the Past with you.
Present time…
"I did as promised, and let everything play out," Cliffjumper explained to the Autobots. "I knew how much I would die for, and I want to be part of Team Prime again," he said before looking to Kim and Arcee. "That won't be a Problem, will it?"
Arcee just smiled and ran towards Cliffjumper, holding her hand up in front of him.
"There's no wrong answer," she said. "This is going to be great! We have you back again!"
Optimus Prime nodded. "Cliffjumper, welcome back to Team Possible Prime." He said.
Cliffjumper nodded as he hi-fived Arcee. "Thank you, Sir," Cliffjumper said. "I promise not to let you down."
Everyone smiled at Cliffjumper, in which he smiled back. Bonnie was the only exception, since she didn't know much about Cliffjumper. She just had an eyebrow raised before Knockout smiled as well. Bonnie only chuckled and put on a smile as well.
This was a turning day for the Autobots and everyone in Team Possible Prime. Cliffjumper was back, now and forever.
